A regular fries and a drink brought the total to around $27 (!). Food was ready in about 5 minutes (they give you a light-up device so you don't have to wait in line) and we took it to our table. I have eaten at another location and knew what to expect. The burger was very good, though also greasy. I like thin, crispy burgers and they do it well though despite the handy paper handle to hold it with your fingers will get very messy. My son absolutely loved his burger too. The fries were much better than what I had experienced at their other location. These seemed pre-cut, perhaps pre-frozen, and coated in cornstarch. The top of the container were nice and crispy though they got soggy as you went down. I wish they arranged them flat on a plate, which might keep their texture better (though result in them getting colder faster). All in all, I like this place. Their prices are very steep for the small burgers you get, but they are high quality. So, I dunno. I can't come here more than for special occasions but when I do I think I will just stick with the burgers and skip the fries.

Chipotle used to be something I got frequently. Too frequently. I have since cut back my visits…read morequite substantially, but this remains my go-to location, mainly because it's the easiest to access from my home. I've also generally had better luck here than at any of the other Albany area locations. The food? Standard Chipotle. Usually fresh and full of flavor. The hot salsa is something unlike any other salsa I have had, smooth and almost like a great hot sauce. Prices are on the higher side and the amount of food you get depends entirely on the person making it. A few steps above Taco Bell and a step above Moe's. The line staff here ranges from great to mediocre, but the manager is wonderful and has helped to make things right whenever I have run into issues. This location gets busy. Very busy. Come here at a peak meal time and it can be hard to get a seat. A line stretching to the door is not rare and, because it's so busy, cleanliness can suffer. On the other hand, the high volume means that food is generally fresh and stuff rarely sits on the steam table for long. If having to wipe a little rice off the table is the price I pay for having meat that literally just came off the grill, so be it.

Lots of healthy options and the food has been consistently well prepared and served. However, this Latham location has been on a downward skid for awhile not. First we had to stop ordering online because we would never get our order filled correctly. Whether it was grossly under-portioned or just wrong items, we had to stop ordering online and goto the store. No big deal, in most cases - inconvenient - but not a deal breaker. We could still go there and get the options we were looking for, it would just take a little longer. Now though, it's messed up. The food itself seems to still be quality, but man, the customer service and portioning and attention to the order requests are terrible. We can go here anymore, chipotle isn't cheap and we can just throw away money on dinner after dinner hoping it'll be better. This has been every experience in the last 6 months. So sad.

The sub roll is toasted, then marinara is added, meatballs (without sauce), mozzarella and parmesan. Rolled tightly into paper, even for a sub staying in. Contrary to the photos - the cheese is NOT melted by a toaster, so it globs together in a mass, warmed slightly by the sub. The marinara is good, but because it's at the bottom, it soaks through the bread, making it a sloppy mess. And I was eating it right away, I can't imagine take away. I did ask for the sub to be toasted after the cheese was added, but I was told that isn't something they can do. The employees were super nice & friendly, as usual.

Joe and his team have developed a great concept that allows you to have fresh, delicious Italian ingredients in a casual, take home meal. The same quality and flavor they serve at their sit down venues comes out in their bowl at Bellinis Counter. Having an Italian mother and large family cook, I am fussy about the quality of Italian food. The vodka sauce is amazing however their marinara creme sauce is full of flavor and one of the best sauces i have eaten! When considering a quick take-out meal, pass on the pizza, gas by the golden arches and make it Bellinis Counter, you will not be disappointed.

A trip to their website showed me that Tex's is a NYC chain. Reviews compare them to Popeye's,…read morebecause of their fried chicken. But because they also serve burgers, I think a comparison to Roy Rogers is more appropriate (minus the fixin's bar I really liked). (Side note: There are no more Roy Rogers in New York State, they're only in Mid-Atlantic states at this point). The restaurant is tiny, with about 5 booths and a few small tables, but when I came in for lunch, it was immaculate. My first meal here was a chicken combo, spicy, with cole slaw. I really like their chicken; their spicy chicken has exactly the right amount of heat and flavor that I want. It's also extra, extra, crispy. I feel sorry for those who have to clean up after anyone who eats in, because there will be lots of batter flakes all over the place. And there's no sporks, it's all plastic forks, knives, and spoons. And now, for the picky stuff: You get a slightly larger amount of cole slaw than at similar restaurants. But the chop is finer, and there's more mayonnaise, so for me, it was too mushy. I probably won't order it again, instead I'll check out other sides. The biscuit was fluffy and less salty than at other places, but it was slightly dry, probably having been under a heat lamp for a while. The combo includes a fountain drink, from a smaller, older-style Coke dispenser for which there are only 6 options, one of them being sweetened iced tea. Unsweetened ice tea was not available as far as I could tell, so if that's true, your only unsweetened option is water, out of the dispenser or bottled. I found it amusing to see, in big letters under the counter, "We cook fresh all day," with about 3 dozen pieces of chicken under heat lamps in the back. Just how often during the day do you cook fresh? The bathroom was clean, but the dispensers were out of soap and paper towels. This is not a good thing for a place serving fried chicken. And it was only about 75 minutes into the day when I was there, I would find it hard to believe it was all used up in 75 minutes. More likely, it was never restocked at the start of the business day. C'mon, you can do better. This is easy to fix. I'll definitely be back if only for the chicken, but I do intend to try the burgers and also the other sides. If those are as good as the chicken, and the beverage and bathroom stuff gets better, I'll add more stars to a revised review for sure.
