Chick-fil-A surely has been one of the restaurants that has put their customers first. Lately it's all about the numbers, getting customers out of the drive-through in a timely manner, getting orders to the tables, and now they're new mobile order situation in the drive-through.. with this new way they handle orders, they are starting to lack the actual customer service. This day particular, I arrived to the restaurant with my mobile order, walked inside because curb service wasn't available. I see my order already at the Mobile cart and waited until I was helped. I seen a young lady set food on the Mobile cart beside of mine and I thought to myself, "I guess she's not in charge of Mobile orders?" So I waited a little longer and she continued to set another bag down on the cart so I spoke up and asked, "do you mind if I get my order?" She turned around, looked at me then back to the order and grab my food without even asking my name and continue to sling the the bag on the counter in front of me. She turned around and walked away... didn't even ask if I needed anything else, nor did she partways with a "have a good day or my pleasure".. just rude. This has been several times at this location with different employees.. they dont check the bags before handing out the food. Always missing a fork or sauce. When you're on a timed lunch break, it would help if they made sure everything is there before I have to stand there and bother another employee to ask for things that should have been in the bag. read more

As a parent to an adult with special needs, going out to eat can be stressful and embarrassing. But instead of being shamed for my son's loud voice, we were welcomed and treated with love and kindness. I cannot express how grateful I felt being able to sit down for a delicious meal without any external pressure from staff (or guests!). People were kind, engaging with Josh and letting him joke and be himself. A staff member even told us to please come back and visit again. Thank you so much for that experience, Chick fil A! My son and I went to this Chick-fil-A last Wednesday or Thursday and we got our normal to go. We got home and cut up some chicken nuggets to give our dogs because they also love them and we saw this. This grossed me out and made me sick. I threw my chicken sandwich away after seeing this. I just wanted to share and make people aware of this because it looks undercooked and maybe rotten. Worst chick fil a I have ever been to. Chicken was dry and overcooked. If you get in the mobile line, you can't get out and they won't take your order. You have to wait for everyone to get their food and then get back in line again to place your order. We just went inside to order. Back on Long Island, NY where we moved here from there was one single Chick-fil-A that opened pretty much when we were getting ready to move! It was always packed to the gills, being new and exciting, and we hardly ever got to go. Such is life. And then we moved to this area where Chick-fil-A is abundant, and live within a delivery zone and are often blessed on our app with free delivery. Thus began our long-lasting habit of pretty much weekly treats. We are very close to Red status and we certainly do not have a problem. Chick-fil-A is different from the other chains, it just is. The food is always carefully prepared and consistent, the employees are exceedingly polite and the prices are fair. The menu is relatively small but everything is good! Sometimes they roll out a special menu item and those are always good too. The only reason I can't give five stars is that we have had a few instances of forgotten items in our deliveries, including a time where we got 30 nuggets and they didn't send the Chick-fil-A sauce. We had to eat our nuggets with other condiments and it just didn't hit the same, and that is the most first world complaint I have ever issued. This is my order: deluxe sandwich, Mac and cheese (fries if eating in, skip them for delivery or stick them in your air fryer- I know you have one) and a Diet Coke. And depending on my level of restraint, some nuggets and a milkshake! read more

Saturday morning breakfast. Newer style CFA restaurant that was longer and more narrow than I have seen before. Order counter is separate from the dining area and the kid's play area is at the rear of the building - not at the front. Fortunately the CFA counter employee was as polite and professional as one expects at this chain. I ordered the chicken breakfast bowl, and a CFA sandwich only to take with me. Since it was during breakfast hours my order took a little longer for the CFA sandwich, but was delivered to my table within a reasonable time. read more

My family and I have been eating at Chick-Fila for years. We have continuously tried to support the Lexington NC location as its in our hometown and the recent pandemic has not helped it or any other businesses. This is the first time we have dined in since the COVID mandates have been lifted on May 15th. What a terrible experience. My two children both got "happy" meals. We typically turn in our toys for the ice cream. When we returned to the front after dining to get the ice cream, we were told that we should have turned the toys in before leaving the check out station. Unfortunately we were not told this when checking out or we would have. This isn't really the issue that I have..... The issue is how we were treated by the employee - Josh Hibbett. The guy was a total JERK. Josh was very confrontational to me and in front of my children. When I looked up CFA's mission statement and core values I was shocked how far off base Josh Hibbett was in his approach. As a business owner of many operations and employer of many people, I can tell you that Josh would not have a position in any of my operations. Honestly, probably the worst experience I have had in my entire life. The irony of the whole thing- CFA cant take your toy back because its their last in-store Covid Protocol 1- Not 1 single employee in the restaurant had a mask or gloves on up front. - They touched the toy, the drinks, the food, the bags the food was in, the sauces, etc.... -They were taking other customers drinks that had been drank out of and refilling them in the back. -It was never communicated initially that you need to turn toys in at register. ^^^What's frustrating is the lack of common sense here. We can do all of this but we cant take a toy back and give a 7 and 10 year old ice cream because Covid? I understand the employees don't create the rules, they should follow them. Again, that's not really the issue. Its the lack or communication initially AND how Josh Hibbett treated me and my children- while never offering to make anything right- instead, essentially telling me to get lost and it was my fault. Customer First, Personal Excellence, Stewardship were all missing from Josh Hibbetts tool bag and these are some of the Chick-Fila Core Values. "To be American's best quick-service restaurant at winning and keeping customers" didn't happen tonight, and this location lost a customer for good thanks to Josh Hibbett. read more

I visited here twice in the last week because my family wanted this not I. The first time was through drive thru and a young man (didn't pay attention to the name at the time) light brown hair not to tall and average size was horrible. I'm sorry. Maybe he was new I don't know and don't really care but when I ask for something like let's say lite ice in my drink and your response is I got you well I'm not going to be to happy about that. I'm not your homie or your bro smh I'm a female and a customer. None of these young kids even say my pleasure anymore. Has this place changed ownership or management??? I see why Fredies line is long and chik fil a not so much anymore. The 2nd time I went back well the young lady had not one ounce of personality and it seemed as if it really hurt to be at work. I mean, it's Chick-fil-a, but that's a good thing! As far as fast food goes, this is the best overall experience in terms of food quality and quality of service as well. The chicken sandwich is not better than Popeyes but it still hits the spot. Ordering contactless delivery through the app recently was an excellent experience as well. My biggest gripe is they aren't open sundays. I'm not gonna turn my review into a religious debate. I'm just saying I always manage to find myself craving Chick-fil-a on Sunday! I do like that scanning the app earns points towards free food items as well. Look, I'm not going to give chick-fila a one star review because I hardly ever have issues with their food or service. However, I ordered a 4-piece chicken strip and they gave me a 3-piece chicken strip. Not to mention the chicken was not the usual piping hot you would receive when you normally order from chick-fila. If you were writing a book on how to do a fast food establishment. Chick-fil-A would be your role model. Consistently great food. Consistently great service. And the price point isn't too bad. Where they lose a star is the price point. Because this place continues to go up and really the quality doesn't. However they know how to do things here and that is why they stay number one in the fast food industry. The Burger King here in Lexington actually doesn't pretty good job at competing with them here. I know that sounds weird Cosmos places Burger King is not good. However for some reason this Burger King consistently gets orders right and has excellent fresh food. And they have a chicken sandwich that almost rivals Chick-fil-A when done right. That's not in every city though Chick-fil-A is consistent in every city. read more

Zowie! This new Chick-fil-A is industrial-sized and has a hip industrial feel somewhat reminiscent of the surrounding mills and factories, now long gone, that used to dominate the area. Seating area is expansive and the floor is made of imprinted concrete which is very unique for its stores. Like all Chick-fil-A's however, the food quality is excellent as is the service. It is clean and for those families with little ones, it has a nice kids area in the back. read more

I go to this place 4 times per week, I stopped by today an ordered my usual combo. When I got home which isn't far from this establishment, My Coke tasted like carbonated water with no flavor, my fries were dried and cold, I didn't even touch my sandwich. My husband and I went to eat at chick-fil-a at 9:00 pm on a Friday night. They close at 10:00 pm. We decided to eat inside because there was a lot of people still eating in the dining area. The lady who took our order was super nice. Our food was good. My complaint is that an hour until closing the manager was directing his employees to mop 1/2 of the dining area and even asked customers to move to the other side of the dining area so they could keep mopping. One of the employees put chairs up at table right next to where we were eating. I felt that they should have waited until closer to closing time or until there were not a lot of people in the dining area eating to start cleaning. The manager was walking all over the place leaving wet footprints with no sign up that the floor was wet. Also our table was dirty and had not been wiped down. I will not be eating in the dining area again. read more

No one seems to be at the front between the hours of 2 to 3. I don't know why the shift manager doesn't have someone in the back come up to help out when it gets busy. This has happened to me on several occasions. I noticed that two trash bins in the dining area were overflowing on one visit. A customer shouldn't have to tell employees about this. The employees aren't as friendly as some of the other Chick-fil-A's I've been to, namely Winston-Salem and even Salisbury. Still, the quality of the food is good compared to the others. read more

I went through the drive through and ordered breakfast and when I got to work a few minutes later I had the wrong breakfast sandwich, I would had checked my order but in my many years of eating at these restaurants I have never had a wrong order, however my issue is that I called and wanted them to know so they would know to be more attentive about checking orders I got no response back, so I called cooperate and they said they would give the franchise owner the message and he did not even call me back, so I followed up two weeks later to see why he had not called me and they said they didn't know, this is the worst service I have ever received and will not eat at this place ever again, I will however eat at other locations but not this one, if there to busy to call me back and fix there mistakes I'm to busy to give them my money and I ate there 4 times a week. read more

Two stars because the food was good because hey, it is chick-fil-a. I realize this is a brand new establishment and that the time surrounding opening is filled with kinks and whatnot. Also if you haven't been there yet - it is extremely busy most of the time. With all that being said, you would think that after patiently waiting in the long line, and then the second long wait for your food, that when you get home you would have your entire, paid for, order. But alas, I'm missing one of my sandwiches. Partly my fault for not checking my bag before I left but when you expect the job you're paying for to be done correctly sometimes you try to give them the benefit of the doubt. My story does not end there though. I drive back to retrieve my second sandwich so my boyfriend and I could both have dinner and again wait in the still long line (due to the recent open, I know) and ask for my missing food. The young lady goes to her manger with my receipt and returns with something other than what it was supposed to be. I tell her I can see that is not the right thing and she appears to have no clue what I'm telling her. I have to take the other sandwich out of the bag and show her what I'm asking for, because they were supposed to be the exact same, in order for her to know what to ask for. I'm frustrated because this information was on the receipt and it was also on whatever visual aid shows the orders in the back and says what and how many to put in the bag in the first place. I shouldn't have to come back from my house, hungry, to correct my order. While I was there getting my food the second time I was next to a lady who had gone through the drive-thru and they had forgotten her fries. I don't want to be the "I work in a restaurant" person but I do, and have, worked at many places that do to-go orders and the success of that is as simple as reading your ticket, and checking the bag, and reading the ticket again. This type of easy quality is accessible and should be strived for no matter what stage of life the restaurant is in. I was very excited for a chick-fil-a in Lexington but after tonight's disappointing visit I'd rather continue to go to Salisbury or simply wait to eat it when I am near one. read more
