Tried biscuit king for the first time while out running a few Saturday morning errands. Absolutely legit breakfast spot for the on the go morning! The biscuits are huge and delicious! Cat head biscuits!! The bacon egg and cheese is my go to and it did not disappoint! Even skipped lunch Saturday because they were so hearty. read more

The food here is amazing, don't let the faded interior fool you. The line at the drive through and at the counter should tell you all you need to know. My only knock would be the country-ham biscuit I got was a little light on ham but it was fresh and tasty. Sorry, Elvis. No big ol' fluffy biscuit here. I tried Biscuit King for the first time after hearing all the hype with their TV commercials at the High Point location. The chicken and tenderloin biscuits were not big and fluffy. The tops were overcooked and the biscuits were crunchy. The chicken patty was nothing special, just a flat piece that looked like it had been beaten to death with a sledgehammer. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the friendliness of the staff. I live in Asheboro and don't go to High Point often, but I will give them another try soon. I hope the next experience won't be as disappointing. read more

They were very busy so that may be the reason for the food not being as good as I expected. Everything was cold or room temperature - nothing was hot. The staff wasn't as friendly as I would've hoped. We had to clean our own table. Again - with as busy as they were I might expect some of this so I would give them a second chance. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite on our way to Virginia. At first we weren't impressed, but then we started eating. The sandwiches were good, I had The BBQ chicken and she had the crispy chicken and they were very tasty. Simple, but tasty seems to be this places theme , and they nail it. The fries were crispy and everything hit the spot. If you are looking for a quick bite with fast service, stop in. They had the food out to us in minutes after ordering. I continue to hunt for a flavorful biscuit with sausage gravy. I live in the South. Why is an awesome biscuit with hot sausage or sage sausage gravy hard to find. So I stopped here driving from Charlotte to Winston Salem. The place is busy with men eating breakfast ( usually a good sign in this part of the country). My favorite is the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuit is the right combination of buttery with slight crisp, just the way I like it. The portion of the sandwich is great but your can also add hashbrowns or seasoned fries to make it a little more. Each week they have a featured special which is a great deal. Biscuit King has a good homemade biscuit, I had fried chicken, egg and cheese biscuit on my early morning stop here. The big homemade biscuit was great, the egg was freshly cooked, the fried chicken breast was ok , you could tell it was a frozen breaded product though it was a real chicken breast, not a processed chicken patty. I would probably be giving 5 stars if I had gotten bacon or ham on my biscuit. Employees are careless. They either don't know how to read a ticket, or they just don't care. They are constantly sending out the wrong order in the drive thru. Cooks misread tickets and are missing items on the burgers, sandwiches, whatever the case. But management needs to come in and teach these employees restaurant skills. They don't even put napkins in the bag.. how hard is that to know?! So upset with how downhill this place has gone.. complaining to them in person doesn't seem to do the job either. read more

I found a hair (100% sure it was not mine) in my biscuit. I have been going to Biscuit King since before I could talk. It used to be so good. However, they made a change recently and it is just not as good as they used to be. Their biscuits are very greasy. Huge, but very greasy. Also, the drive thru is not very great. They focus more on getting things out of the window than accuracy of the item being ordered. I miss the old Biscuit King. This place used to be good but the last few meals I have tried here seem like they are made with the cheapest ingredients. Even the fries had been sitting too long. Cool and floppy. Let me start by saying that I have always been a supporter of Biscuit King on Talbert Blvd in Lexington, however I have slacked off visiting recently as it seems more and more that I am disappointed in the service and quality of food that I receive. More often than not you are asked to pull up or to the side and wait for your order which at times I can understand, just not EVERY time. Several times my order has been wrong and when you are on a time schedule you can't be running back and forth to get it corrected so I either discard it or eat it anyway. Just today my order was totally wrong and I had to wait for a "Quick Box" lol for over 10 minutes. I do my best to support local business but you guys are making it hard right now. Burned burgers. No napkins. Staff that doesn't know you are supposed to wear your mask over your mouth and nose. During the entire time we were there, no one came out to clean any of the tables and apparently they didn't plan to do so as, of the four empty tables, only one did not have the remnants of food left on it. I know restaurants are open now and we want to support our local businesses, but I would definitely not want to eat inside here again for a while. We were in North Carolina passing through to SC for a family reunion. My husband is from Lexington, NC and raved about the egg sandwiches so we decided to stop. So good! These are definitely fresh, handmade biscuits, most likely made properly with lard. Restaurant is a typical, southern joint, full of local regulars, and well worn from constant diners.
