I'd never been in a Chic-fi-A prior to yesterday's visit, although I had purchased their special sauce in a grocery store previously. A matter of curiosity, since this chain is so frequently mentioned in media etc. (I do enjoy that sauce on hard boiled eggs, etc.) but I digress. This was an extremely clean location and the most pleasant staff was diligent in keeping it that way. Highest stars to them in any way that we encountered them. This goes for the customers too. Wilson High School must have just let out for the day and whenever we are in an establishment they frequent, my hope for the future of humankind is lifted. Looking at their menu today online, there are other options that I should have tried. I did not enjoy the bun on the sandwich. I passed up biscuits! Me! Not ordering a biscuit! That's crazy! The grilled chicken was tender and moist. A mistake was removing the wrapping since the contents squished all over the place. It was possible to corral and eat everything without making much of a spectical of myself. The frosted lemonade was absolutely scrumptious. Coming back for another or two. The online information apparently lists nutrition, which I might check at some point, just not yet. It's a 4.25 star experience all in all. read more

OH MY GOSH! I LOVE THIS LOCATION! I've been to many chik fil a's, and nothing will ever top the experience I had here!! I cannot express enough how wonderful the worker "KAYLYN" is. Truly such a sweet girl I hope she's the team lead or something because she went above and beyond for me. Went through the drive thru here on a Saturday for my Sunday chicken fix. Just because I know Chick-Fil-A would be closed on Sunday. Although best eaten hot and fresh, next day chicken sandwiches from here still hits the spot the next day. Order was taken and fulfilled correctly. Can't complain about that. Didn't have to order at the window because there was an attendant in the drive thru to take your order. I like that they ask for your name. Gives the service a personal touch. My only complaint is the print on menu the outside attendant carries is too small. Probably better to place the attendant after the large menu or something to that effect. I tried for the first time their breakfast burrito, and it was delicious. I never placed hash browns inside my burritos so I was a bit hesitant to try theirs, I must say it added a crunch factor to which I love. The burrito had a nice warm flour tortilla the eggs were fluffy and soft was well. After I polished it off I definitely wanted more it wasn't too little or too small but just right . I was given. A red package of salsa that had jalapeños seasoning, it was ok but I love instead the Chick fil a barbecue sauce. To compliment this mighty breakfast I added an vanilla favored ice coffee, I added 2 creamers, and 1 sugar. Great drink to make this a well rounded satisfying just right meal. read more

I beat the lunch rush today. Ordered a market salad and dined-in. The server was very pleasant and greeted me as I walked up to order. My order came out quickly (the server was right behind me with my order as I was selecting a table). I know this location gets very busy, but the inside is always neat and clean. This particular location has served me on several occasions, after I've gotten done at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach. It conveniently sits near the roundabout, which directs me to the 405 and the 605 freeways. I almost always use the drive-thru here, and the few times I've dined in, I've noticed how clean they keep their place. The wait for drive-thru is never unreasonable, no matter how packed it is. Chick-Fil-A, much like In-N-Out, has a good track record for efficiency. This location in Long Beach is no exception. As far as their menu items, I go with the classics. The grilled chicken deluxe meal. There are some healthy options which are decent, such as the fruit and the kale. I don't recommend the yogurt, it's more sugared than the Yoplait brand. This place is one of many great quick food options in Long Beach. read more

Drive throughs these days have been LONG for these pandemic times. Although the lines were long at this location, it moves really quickly since the employees work pretty efficiently son don't let the long lines scare you away. You'd probably only in be in the drive through max 10 minutes. All the employees we encountered were super friendly and thrilled to see my dog eat the pup cup hahaha. Anyway, first time trying to order something for my pup here. They suggested a plain grilled chicken patty and to request for a pupcup at the pickup window! My pup enjoyed every bite of his food. The grilled chicken patty is pretty large so I ate half of it. It does have some sort of flavor to it so it's not fully plain but at least it's not very salty so it should be fine to give your pup here and there on rare occasions if you're up for it! The pupcup is a fairly decent sized cup too! Onto the human food, food and sauces good as usual! Gotta love their chicken tenders with their buffalo and ranch sauce. There are too many options available to patronize this Chick-fil-A. I ordered the market grilled salad with apple cider vinegarette and a bottled water. I proceeded to get on the freeway and to may surprise when I reached my destination the granola and nuts were missing. If you have had this salad you know this is the highlight. I reported the issue on the app thinking the issue would be rectified with a similar item. I was offered a free cookie. I thought the Chick-fil-A brand was about customer service. There are other franchises in the area. Believe me this is not the one. Maybe they have so much business that they can deliver products and not give what you pay for. I really like Chick-fil-A, and I usually do not have any issues. However, this location might be the first exception. This is the closest location for me as the one in California Heights has not yet finished nor opened (probably due to COVID-19). I am a huge fan of using the mobile app; it is easy, fast, and simple when ordering takeout or curbside delivery. For some reason, even before COVID-19, there usually appears to be something wrong or missing in my orders when I am here. One time, they mixed up the drink orders; other times, they forget all the sauces I request. I understand it gets really busy, but wow. The most telling sign about the management here is that curbside pickup is marked, and when I used the mobile app for that, the employee did not seem to be able to tell where that area was, and when he eventually found me, he said that area was reserved for UberEats and other food delivery services, and that I should have parked in the unmarked spots. Look: I just followed the instructions from the mobile app (per usual); if something changed for this specific location, they should have had actual signs to indicate where non-food delivery services people should park for curbside pickup. Drive-thru lines are usually long, especially now that going inside is no longer an option. If you can, I would suggest going to another location. read more

Now what that being said, it seems like they make a lot of mistakes with the orders, wrong orders, temperature of food, portions of food, they forget to include receipts so you can your transactions later to your history, and also you can't even finf the restaurant store number anywhere on the website or the internet... Well my friends are always telling me how good this establishment is. My first experience was in torrance off Hawthorne Blvd. Wow Their Sandwich was dry as beach sand and even the one pickle that laid desperately on my bun hoping for some type of sauce, ketchup or maybe even mustard just to dehydrate his poor cracked skin lol. Sad story but true and off to the trash it went so I've never looked back until yesterday... Now I was desperate and hungry so my friend told me to drive in. Angrily I listened because i did not pay for it so why not. Wow too my surprise the sandwich was beautifully put together I even had cheese and a bed a lettuce for my cute crunchy dehydrated pickle to lay on. The mac n cheese tasted as if it came out of the box (not homemade) but it's ok it was still pretty good with that crunch at the top, you know how mom use to make.
