You know. . .I have been coming to this location for years because it's close to home and the bank. I make both stops in one go and it's just convenient. If you go to a location enough I guess there's more room for errors to happen, but this past year I've had more bad experiences than the five-ish years combined in total I've frequented this location. It's a shame because I used to hold CFA to a much higher standard than regular fast food; the prices certainly reflect so. My latest experience was just the latest, but the catalyst for my review. I was the only car in the drive thru and ordered a fairly simple thing: cool wrap with extra side of cheese. For some reason that was too complicated. I drove up and the manager Kevin greeted me and asked if I wanted the cheese on the side. Although certainly not what I had said I didn't mind correcting the mistake before it happened. I said very clearly and calmly "No I want an extra small side of the cheese". He then let me know there would be a charge for it. I had never been charged before for it, but rules are rules and nothing is ever certain. I asked how much it would be and he said "thirty-five cents". I said it was okay and then proceeded to sit at the window for about five minutes, possibly longer. I repeat: I was the only car up until that moment so no other car was in front of me. Three different staff members asked me what my name was to check what I was waiting for. I was starting to get a bit annoyed because apparently for some reason three different members had no idea what was going on with me. Finally I got asked to park and my order would be brought to me. I was getting more annoyed, but said it was okay and parked where I was told. My order was brought and I drove off finally. While on the road I pulled over because I wanted to check my wrap, I just had a feeling. Sure enough, no cheese in it. Kevin made sure I paid thirty-five cents for a tiny amount of cheese, but he couldn't make sure my order was correct despite asking me directly and informing me of extra charges. I would have also hope that waiting that long and being asked that many times who I was that one person would have made sure the order was correct, but that wasn't the case. I had to had to drive back upset immediately after. I know this all sounds minimal, but this is one of many issues I've had here. I went inside and asked for my money back, but apparently I needed my phone to get a refund. I had left my phone in my truck and in order to avoid another trip to my car and back again I just had them make my order again. I honestly didn't wanna have them do it over because I would rather support a location that is consistent with their service. I wish the Seal Beach location was open a bit later and I would love to go there, but their hours are shorter and it is what it is. The TLDR: I was made to wait a long time, charged for a tiny amount of cheese, nobody knew what I was doing there for some reason, after waiting a long time got asked to park, finally given my order, started driving home, realized I had missing ingredients I paid EXTRA for, and I finally had to drive back angry. From now on I'm definitely gonna think twice before coming here. The consistency I once enjoyed is certainly not there anymore. I'm definitely going to avoid this location. read more

Wow! I have had an offer on my app for a free breakfast sandwich every morning this week (M, T, and W). I always make sure to buy something when I get a free offer. Let me start with service; I have had nothing but the most polite and kind employees help me at this location. My order has always been correct, always! Monday I had the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. First time ordering and I'm picky about my sausage. It did not disappoint. It had good flavor and the sandwich held up well. The egg was also cooked perfectly. I hate when they overcook eggs. This one was light and fluffy. I also ordered hash brown. They are ok but I prefer their waffle fries. Yesterday, I opted for the grilled chicken, egg white, and cheese English muffin. I was pleasantly surprised by this sandwich. It may be my go to in the future. Again, fluffy and perfectly cooked egg whites and the combination of it all was tastefully satisfying. I ordered an oj and have decided that will be my go to for my extra breakfast item. Awesome place and solid chick fil a. However again why is fast food so expensive. They had some cool items on the menu and it always smells fresh around and inside the restaurant. I've ordered from this Chick-fil-A location multiple times, but there seems to be an ongoing issue with drinks not being sealed for delivery. During my most recent Uber Eats order 2/12/2026 08:17am I called the restaurant after placing the order to ask if they could please make sure a safety sticker was placed on the drink lid. I was told the order had already gone out. There was no apology from the woman I spoke with she brushed it off like she didn't care, even though ensuring order safety should be part of the job. I then asked the driver through the app if the drink had a safety sticker, and he confirmed that it did not. Because of the safety concern, I refused to accept the order and ended up with no food. I am now struggling to get my money back from Uber Eats, even though the driver returned the food to the restaurant because I refused to accept an unsealed drink. I ended up having to place another order, but I had to call the restaurant again and basically beg them to put a safety sticker on the lid. I also had to spend more money on food because something that should be a simple safety step was not done the first time. Sealing drinks for delivery is a basic health and safety expectation. Very disappointed at this location. Every single time we have come here they have giving us a Veterans discount. But today, 10-14-2025 at 4:37 pm, the guy manager on the clock refused. This is by far my favorite Chik-fil-A location! They always seem to get it right- my order is correct, the food is hot and fresh, and I've never NOT heard them say "'my pleasure." Recently they added the chicken tortilla soup to the menu--scrumptious! I've been on a soup kick lately and I'm glad I was able to get a hearty filling bowl of goodness from them after a long day yesterday. If you don't see that reward, it may be because you are not located in LA County. Now that I got that out of the way, I can finally start by saying I redeemed said reward at this Chick-fil-A located on the east side of the Long Beach Traffic Circle. I was thinking about going through the drive-thru until I came to the sudden realization of how lengthy Chick-fil-A's drive-thru line is, even when split into two, regardless of location. Once I saw how long the drive-thru line was, I immediately noticed a handful of open parking spots right in front of the front door. I never understood the reason why customers would rather wait in a long drive-thru line than stop their car to go inside and wait in a much shorter line, as was the case for me. When I entered through the front door, I was the next customer in line, and there were a couple of employees at an open register. However, neither of them acknowledged me, which made me a little unhappy, until I realized it was probably a training opportunity for a new Chick-fil-A team member. If that's the case, why not use me as a test subject instead? I would have been happy to serve as one. I had to wait a couple minutes more before a cashier whose name ends in "esenia" came to the register to ring me up. I showed her my reward for an 8-count chicken nuggets, and I had to scan the QR code that popped up after tapping "Scan at the Restaurant" on my mobile device. At first, I didn't see where the scanner was until "esenia" pointed it out to me. The scanner was positioned in such a way that it was difficult to maneuver my mobile device at precisely the right angle and position for the scanner to scan my QR code. I even had "esenia" help with that, and luckily, we got the QR code to scan. A $5.95 discount later, I was good to go, but not before she asked which sauces I'd like to go with my order. Unsure if one packet of sauce would suffice for the complimentary nuggets, I went with Honey Mustard and Chick-fil-A sauce, the latter of which consists of the former plus Barbecue and Ranch, a concoction that might be considered too much of a good thing to some, but even for this customer who constantly and consistently stands by this statement, I can assure you this is the sauce that should come with every meal that involves chicken, whether it is in the form of nuggets, strips, or even their signature sando. I simply had Honey Mustard as my backup in the event that I didn't have enough of the Chick-fil-A sauce. I asked "esenia" how long I'd have to wait, and she really didn't have any idea. She played it conservative and said 5 to 10 minutes, but we met again after 2 to 3 when she handed me my order. Better than the other way around, at least! However, definitely a training opportunity so as to give each customer a better estimate of waiting time for each menu item. I also want to mention how I appreciate one of the employees at the pickup counter asking for my name so she could check on my order. When I opened the box, I saw the 8 pieces of nuggets in there, but they were pretty inconsistent in size. Some pieces were significantly larger than the others that I could "double-dip" on some nuggets, but not all. A few parts of a few pieces were kind of burnt, but the nuggets, cooked in 100% peanut oil, were prepared to almost perfection. While the chicken nuggets were tasty, I wouldn't call them moist and juicy by themselves, but they definitely were with the addition of the Chick-fil-A sauce. I was able to use the entire packet of Chick-fil-A sauce without opening the Honey Mustard, and I could have dropped the unopened Honey Mustard packet in the bin labeled S.O.S., which stands for Save Our Sauces, but I chose to take it home and repurpose it for something else, like a supplement to a future meal. Overall, not a bad Chick-fil-A to go to. It got the job done where I came in to claim my reward after only a few minutes of waiting. A lot faster than if I had used the drive-thru, which could have been a longer wait than if I were at In-N-Out, also by the Traffic Circle. The nuggets, while not five star great, are still a good solid choice if you have the craving for their chicken! :) read more

I'd never been in a Chic-fi-A prior to yesterday's visit, although I had purchased their special sauce in a grocery store previously. A matter of curiosity, since this chain is so frequently mentioned in media etc. (I do enjoy that sauce on hard boiled eggs, etc.) but I digress. This was an extremely clean location and the most pleasant staff was diligent in keeping it that way. Highest stars to them in any way that we encountered them. This goes for the customers too. Wilson High School must have just let out for the day and whenever we are in an establishment they frequent, my hope for the future of humankind is lifted. Looking at their menu today online, there are other options that I should have tried. I did not enjoy the bun on the sandwich. I passed up biscuits! Me! Not ordering a biscuit! That's crazy! The grilled chicken was tender and moist. A mistake was removing the wrapping since the contents squished all over the place. It was possible to corral and eat everything without making much of a spectical of myself. The frosted lemonade was absolutely scrumptious. Coming back for another or two. Went through the drive thru here on a Saturday for my Sunday chicken fix. Just because I know Chick-Fil-A would be closed on Sunday. Although best eaten hot and fresh, next day chicken sandwiches from here still hits the spot the next day. Order was taken and fulfilled correctly. Can't complain about that. Didn't have to order at the window because there was an attendant in the drive thru to take your order. I like that they ask for your name. Gives the service a personal touch. My only complaint is the print on menu the outside attendant carries is too small. Probably better to place the attendant after the large menu or something to that effect.
