I really love the food at Chick-fil-A. I just wish there was one closer to my home, because it seems like when the kids want to eat out, they want this place and of course...kids seem to always want what's not easily accessible. Can't say that I blame them, though. They are a healthy alternative to other fast food choices out there. The sandwiches are not greasy and neither are the fries. The only thing that I don't care for is that they don't put salt on their fries. So I have my own alternative; I put salt in the ketchup and just dip. If you salt the fries, it just rolls off, so this is my go-to, because I love salt on my fries. Not salty, but something has to be on them. Anyway, yes they have some major lines, both inside and in the drive-thru, but their lines move rather quickly. Think about it...whether you are dining in or taking your food to go, you will notice that they have a HUGE staff on hand at all times! You walk into McDonald's, Carl's, or Jack and you can count on one hand how much staff they have; sometimes on a few fingers... Chick-fil-A, on the other hand has AT LEAST 15 people behind the counter, and that's a minimum. I LOVE and APPRECIATE the TEAMWORK! Everyone works together, INCLUDING the managers and that says quite a bit. Managers arent "kickin' it" in the back pretending that they are above everyone else. I believe this is why they are super full all day, errday, lol! Great customer service and orders are 99% correct (I've had one wrong order in the many, many, many, many.......many years that I've been a connoisseur of Chick-fil-A!) They immediately fixed it, without having to argue with them like you have to do with other establishments. read more

Is it just me or does everyone crave Chik-Fil-A on Sundays? This location has a drive-thru which is constantly busy but they get folks through pretty quickly. When I have a choice though I generally prefer to dine inside because hello free refills on my sweet tea! I usually opt for the the #1 combo sans pickles. You can upgrade your bun to a wheat bun for only $0.40. I also love the endless sauces and the ketchup packets that you can actually dip into. And of course, no chik-fil-a meal is complete without a soft serve cone! read more

This place is always packed & rightfully so. Customer service here seems to always stay friendly, and you can tell that they train their employees well. I have never had a wrong order here, and they always make sure I get the proper sauces that I desire. The quality of food here is always great, super tasty, and doesn't tasted so processed like many fast food competitors. The only issue (not their fault, really) is how inconvenient of a location it is based based on entering and exiting. Also, if the drive-thru line is long, good luck getting out of that place. A lot of other Chic-Fil-A's in the area have double lane drive thru's which obviously help cut down on extended traffic line. I'm also glad that Chic-Fil-A is about to open up a new Long Beach location by the traffic circle. read more

I got the mini chicken sandwiches and omg it was super duper greasy !!!! The box in itself was sooo oily! The little sandwiches were cute but to me it didn't even seem like it was fully baked through. The only thing I would appreciate from them was the girl standing outside in the cold taking our orders. I don't really think that was needed but that was good customer service. read more

In terms of getting your order right, they are the worst Chick-Fil-A's around. Last 5 times (which were over the course of the last 2 months) I have visited they have messed up my order: Grilled Nuggets - Forgot the sauce. Yogurt Parfait - forgot the granola and spoon. 2 instances of Market Salad with dressing. Forgot the dressing. Grilled Chicken Sandwich meal - forgot the fries. the FRIES. I recommend you go to Cerritos or Seal Beach or anywhere else if you want your food order to be correct. read more

Love CFA. Love the food. Love the ambiance. But out of all the CFA I ate at, this place must be the worst of the worst. I don't understand why but maybe because of the location. All CFA I ate at, are all tidy and clean except this branch. Parking structure right outside is dirty as well. I used to manage fast food chain and its the management Responsibility to clean the vicinity of the restaurant. I dont mean to sound gross but right after my family ate, we saw a guy throwing up right outside the door. So we went inside and inform the crew but they are too slow to respond. Goodness.. it's a fast food. You are supposed to act fast. oh well I will never coming back here again read more

If you look at my original review of this location it was a 5-star review. I thought they had great customer service until today. I went to use the restroom and when I sat on the toilet it was leaking from the bottom and got my pants soaked in toilet water. when I told the manager about the situation she just offered me an apology and dismissed it. I'm livid right now! I'm driving to work in toilet water soak pants and the managers could care less. Not only is it unsanitary it's disgusting! read more

I stop going here because all the time I go they always mess up my order and they don't care at all today I decided to give it a try because I was craving it and I went to drive thru and the guy order it right I got two deluxe meals large and only gave me back 1 and luckily I checked and fixed it for me but noticed they still messed up for getting me regular fries instead of large NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN read more

Pretty run down and pretty busy also. In-n-out is next door, go there instead. I'm no entitled boomer but compared to most locations the employees all seem like they'd rather be playing fortnite. The fries are also undercooked and under salted. read more

Found hair in my fries. Workers are not very considerate and seem to be careless with food and orders. Lines are always too long and when its time to be served the customer seems to be too rushed to get everything they want. Did not have a good experience and do not recommend it. Very unfortunate went through the drive through and as the guy handed us the drinks the lids weren't on so they spilled all over the car and made a huge mess. Then when we got home our meals weren't correct and we weren't given the sauce we asked for. Just make sure you check before your bags before you leave this location because clearly they do not check. read more

In something of a running gag for these guys, Cows begging people to eat more chicken is the order of the day. Their wish is my command. You gotta love their advertisements and their slogans. It's da bomb! I thought all Chick-Fil-A are all the same. Damn, I was wrong. For instance, there was a running gag that me and Cidne W. started on whether or not Micky D's would allow Big Macs to have wheat buns. I was wondering about the same thing in regards to the original chicken sandwich in this place. Guess what? They allowed you to change the buns! Yep, I was able to customized the buns from the grilled sandwich to be put on my original sandwich, plus on top of that I was able to add in tomato and lettuce along with the usual pickle. Whoa! That's what I like. What's even cooler about this whole deal was that instead of foiled wrap, the sandwich comes in a black box container in this location. Sleek! Very nice as I was thinking it was not possible. Oh, another thing, the lemonade is awesome in this place. I used to think Skooby's at Hollywood got the best lemonade in a fast food place, not anymore. Chick-Fil-A rocks on that. They got the best lemonade in town. The chicken sandwiches....fabulous! Delicious in any location. Grilled or original. They are to die for. The fries are good too. They have plenty of dining tables available as it is spotless. The people who worked there are always smiling and courteous. It looked like they enjoyed their job and not miserable like the other fast food joints. Can't imagine working in fast food places, but these guys seemed to be in good mood whenever I'm in. If I only have one wish is that they would be open on Sunday. But alas, as it was well documented, the founder is a very religious man who believes in the sabbath where Sunday is a resting day. Oh well, because I usually want to get my chicken sandwich fixes on weekend. I'll just make sure to make a mental note that Saturday is the only time I can do it. If you are missing out by going to Pinkberry or Famima!!, please don't think about the calories for one day and cover to Chick-Fil-A. Oh, how I love thee, Chick-fil-A! Let me count the ways... 1. Milkshakes that rock my world 2. Chicken Sandwiches, breasts that are plump and juicy 3. Waffle Potato Fries that would make Belgium jealous 4. Southern hospitality brought to SoCal...via a fast food chain? After my horrendous ordeal at LA Café the night before, I felt I deserved a meal to right those wrongs. What better way than to enjoy a calorie busting meal at Chick-fil-A? There was a sort of Southern hospitality here as I approached the front doors. A gentleman actually mans the door and greets you! All the girls at the registers greet you. There's gotta be something wrong...AM I IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE? I couldn't make up my mind, but after a few minutes of gazing haphazardly at the menu board, I settled on the Chicken Sandwich Deluxe and a was sold on the Banana Pudding Milkshake! ***Irrelevant Sidebar*** They were all busting up because I was wearing my "One Night Stand" t-shirt by Todd Goldman. I told them to get their mind out of the gutter!***End irrelevant Sidebar*** After I placed my order and said thank you, the cashier said, "it's my pleasure"! I'm not really one for waffle frites, but they complimented the sammy well enough for me! Banana Pudding Milkshake: 5/5 Sorry, I happen to believe Chick-fil-A makes thee best milkshakes. Period! I wanted to try this limited time shake (but was mostly coerced by the cashiers) because I was bummed that I didn't have the opportunity to try the Banana Pudding at Bludso's a few weeks back. All I can say is that this shake was pretty darn epic! Maybe it as a tad too sweet when I was almost done with it (after all, I did order the large), but the vanilla wafers where perfectly crushed/blended into the shake to keep my curiosity to the final slurp! While seated in a booth or table, you can expect employees to check on you periodically. They monitor you like a hawk in a good way that they will even pick up your wrappers/cartons and place a hand sanitizing wipey on your table all in one fell swoop! When you leave, the same gentleman who greeted you will issue you a salutation as he opens the door for you. Acknowledge him by thanking him and he will respond in kind with "it's my pleasure!" Quite possibly one of the best Chick-Fil-A resturaunts in Southern California! I love going here instead of going to Del Amo Mall because the employees are way more diverse and have way less employees, BUT...they get their orders out FAST for the minnimum amount of workers they have and THAT's impressive! If you have kids, they even have an inside jungle gym for them! YES, the employees DO walk around asking if you need anything else and that is freakin GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I LOVE IT! You don't get that at Del Amo!!! The parking here is cool...a lot of spaces and since it's right next to Edward's Cinemas, you can hit this place up either before or after you watch a movie. read more

Always pleasant, very nice and cordial, Chick-Fil-A is the measure of how all other fast food restaurants should be measured. Chicken sandwiches are done right here with huge chunks of chicken breasts in a delicious bun served up hot. I like the original or sometimes the club with a bit of bacon on it. In the mornings I like the mini-sandwiches just because they are bite size and I can grind 'em in the car. Be careful though, the mini-buns are lightly coated with like a honey or something. Tasty but be careful of the potential sticky mess. Coffee is never stale and is quite good. Great for kids with many events for the little rug runners this place is not shy of promotions and gatherings. You can even have birthday parties there that look pretty cool. Go for it! We finally had time to try Chick-fil-A for breakfast last weekend. I had the egg white grill, which has grilled chicken, and it was delicious! My roommate had the breakfast platter, which has biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and crispy chicken breast. For a fast-food place, it is pretty legit (and filling) for a breakfast plate. The only downside was the coffee. It was pretty bad. It was bitter (even after 2 packets of sugar) and had a sour aftertaste. McDonald's coffee is way better! read more

I brought my husband his roast beef ($18!). He is not a picky eater, AT ALL! He said it wasn't very good and he should bring them an Arby's to show what a roast beef sandwich should look like. He was really disappointed. Sorry, if you love this place, please ignore my review but I highly recommend that you do NOT order these sandwiches unless the owner makes an announcement that they've taken steps to improve. When I moved to Los Angeles & Orange County 3 years ago, I became one of those people that eat out... All of the time. I have to admit, service at 80% of the places I go to is terrible. Chic-Fil-A, surprisingly, is one of those places that remind you good service actually exists. Unlike Sheenie and Karlie below me crying about 30~ cents which they probably blow off anyway by flooring it to the next red light like most OC/LA drivers I encounter, I haven't had any bad experiences here... Except this one time. I brought 2 friends with me here one day, about mid-afternoon. We got out food, sat down, and ate. Me and a friend had always wondered about the ice cream options on the menu, it was hot that day so we opted in to try. Approaching the counter again, this is where it hits the fan. We were standing away from the counter when some 3-5 year old boy cuts loose from his Mom to run to his grandfather at the counter. That exact moment, my friend knows which ice cream option he wants. In slow motion, he moves his foot... Crazy wild toddler, running full speed ahead... Decides it's a perfect move to weave in and out of me and my friend. Then it happens. The kid wobbles into my friends foot, trips, AND FLY'S HEAD FIRST INTO THE COUNTER. HE WAS RUNNING SO FAST, HE FLEW HORIZONTALLY AND THE TOP OF HIS HEAD SMASHED THE COUNTER. *thump* The crying starts. Everyone looking around, me trying to figure out if it was us or him?! I'm trying to not to laugh. I look at my other friend and he utters, "I'm trying to feel no emotion right now". The Grandpa looks down and picks the kid up. The girl behind the counter didn't really know how to handle the situation, and that's when some manager guy swoops in and saves the day. We watch him as he goes, "Do you know what makes the crying go away? ... Ice cream!" With EVERYONE watching, the kid crying, bam. The guy pulls out a free ice cream with cookies thing for the kid. No more crying, no more tears, and I feel the eyes were taken off us. read more

Simply LOVE Chick-Fil-A in Long Beach! I've been a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A restaurants for years but this one is by far the best I've personally experienced. Once you're inside and taste that food, it won't even feel like a 'fast food' experience - definitely worth more than the value. Although the price-tag and quick service merits the fast food title, it blows other fast food restaurants right out of the water. How do they CONSISTENTLY deliver such great food and service?! I'm a huge stickler for both and they meet my high expectations and even those of my picky little young eaters and vegetarian husband (he loves the salads, side items, and desserts). My personal favorites are their spicy sandwich, waffle fries, and their Arnold Palmer (sweet tea and fresh squeezed lemonade mix) - yuuuummmmyyy and oh so refreshing. The food is consistently scrumptious, fresh, and our order has always been filled correctly. The staff is diverse and truly represents the best of Long Beach. The customer service experience compares to a 5-star restaurant. I love the staff's "my pleasure's", carrying trays, and walking around asking us if we would like refills. The restaurant is always clean and energetic. It's a unique family-friendly environment and the in-door play area is maintained so well and is a huge hit with my family. I love that you can stop in or drive-thru for a quick yummy meal and hop over to the movie theater to watch a flick (by the way, great theater - also one of our favs) or shop around. I highly recommend trying this particular Chick-fil-A restaurant. The others are pretty good but this one is the best. As a former employee here I understand all the stuff that they do. I've seen the mold in the lemonade machines and in the Ice tea. (If you don't believe me about the mold look at the pics) I have witnessed employees drop things on the floor and hand them back to the kitchen to make it seem as if they throw it away but they really don't they just but it back to serve it Don't get me started on the managers I understand being nice is the customer service but these people are faker than fake I've seen the way they treat their employees And I think slaves were treated a lot better than the employees here. They never work they're always on their phones but as soon as they see the owner John Howard that's when they begin to work and start yelling at the kitchen. This place is an unbelievable catastrophe. I cannot remember a single time they got my order right. Shame on me for giving them more chances, the only reason anyone comes to this particular Chik-fil-A is it's convenient location. The experience you can expect here is hands down the WORST of any Chik-fil-A, period. They hire high school kids who roll their eyes at everything and will never get your order right. None of them like their jobs and this becomes obvious when you get your order or try and get help to correct something. Please keep scrolling to see similar experiences. This place is a NIGHTMARE. Negative 100 stars and the manager will have no interest in resolving any issues you WILL have. I don't know her name but where I was a manager, she would have been GONE. Normally Chick-Fil-A always deserves five stars. I mean its Chick-Fil-A. But what they did was unforgivable... I usually order the same thing every time, two regular Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and fries. I know I need eight packets of Chick-Fil-A sauce. So at the speaker when they ask if you want any sauce, I said, I needed eight. Not like eight, just eight. She verified that with me so I didn't think to check the bag. As I'm driving down the freeway, while juggling my sandwich and drink (that's safe driving right) I realize I only have 3.. that's right 3. What am I supposed to dip the rest of the food in?? I never been to a chick fil a until I moved close to the Carson location. I was always going to KFC for the quick meals but could never finish thier food because of feeling full to quickly before finishing a 3 strip meal. But here at chick fil a, I fell in love! they had deals on certain dates for me to come back and reorder the same thing! I was never offered by restaurants to come on a certain date to get free food again but on a different day. This excited my tummy and pocket book! Now I go once a week to get thier chicken nuggets. It is light and filling. The chicken tastes fresh and what they are using for the batter give the chicken a good flare to my tongue. January 22. 3019 I tried the Market salad and it was a total rip off. I will never buy another salad from Chick fila ever again. This salad believe me had actually 3 blueberries and maybe 1 small strawberry cut up. The salad was not worth the price at all. The salad had a few pieces of apple in it tbe greens were good and it had 3 bery small chicken strips that were of a nugget size than a strip. The best salads still to date are at Wendy's by far, they are best in all fast food places. Service going down. Marketing Mgr took our order. Asian guy with huge arms. Not friendly at all. Bad day? Spent almost $30. Rushed us out of line like an assembly line. Dajah had great customer service! She made my visit enjoyable and was very attentive with refils and asking how my visit was going at a point another employee by the name of kelly passed by to assist and i asked if it was okay to get my cone since dajah said it was okay to have it after my meal and kelly denied my request and said we had to go to the counter to ask for it while dajah free willingly came to us and asked us if we were ready for our cone! We love this place! It's always kept very clean and the staff is so nice! I'm not usually a fan of those play yards but this one is kept up well so I don't mind letting my kids play in it. National Ranch Day was on a Monday this year, and Wingstop offers 80 cent boneless wings on Mondays as well as Tuesdays. Even though I much prefer bone-in wings over boneless wings, sometimes, you just need to switch things (or wings, in this case lol) up every now and then. If you know me and Buffalo wings, you know I always choose ranch over bleu cheese. Unfortunately, there is not a Buffalo flavor at Wingstop, but the Original Hot flavor resembles the Buffalo quite a lot, though I'm sure denizens of that city would disagree as much as they disagree with my choice of dipping sauce for wings lol. I already had a small dinner prepared at home, so I didn't want a whole order of wings. At first, it appears that the smallest number of wings you can order is 10, but when I added the ranch to my bag first, I was then asked if I'd like to add something else to my order. That's when I saw I could add 5 boneless wings for $4, choosing one flavor, Original Hot in my case. I arrived within the 5-minute window of when my order should be ready for pickup, and lo and behold, it was ready for pickup. Wingstop also offers forks upon request, and wanting to keep my hands clean, I asked for one before feasting on my wings. The boneless wings were relatively small in size, which probably explains why I got 7 pieces instead of 5. So I definitely appreciate them giving me more than I paid for. However, more doesn't always mean better. What do I mean here? The Original Hot is one of Wingstop's most popular flavors, but unfortunately, I was kind of underwhelmed with the Original Hot flavor here. Granted, I did drown each wing with ranch, but I barely tasted any Buffalo sauce at all! They were only sparingly used on my wings, so I doubt I would have enjoyed these wings much, if at all, without the ranch. Also, the boneless wings were pretty soft and mushy. The ranch didn't stick onto the wings very well, so whereas I was able to use an entire cup of lemon pepper dipping sauce for 5 bone-in wings at a different location, I could only consume just over half a cup of ranch for 7 boneless wings at this location. As a whole, the Original Hot boneless wings weren't bad, but now I wish I had spent an extra dollar for the bone-in version instead as I'm certain I would have liked them more. Nevertheless, the boneless wings and the ranch were tasty enough to make for a good pre-dinner snack. I especially liked how the ranch was nice and tangy here. The manager working the dinner shift has a bit of a standoff-ish attitude that when I asked her for a fork, I almost thought she was going to bark back at me. Luckily, she didn't, but she wasn't as welcoming as the manager working the lunchtime shift, who was much more jovial. She also took my order on a previous visit when I ordered a 15-piece Meal for 2, which includes a large side. The side doesn't necessarily have to be fries, but I chose the Buffalo Ranch Fries, normally a 70 cent upcharge from the seasoned fries. I asked for the sauces to be on the side, but for some reason, they thought "sauces on the side" meant "omit the fries entirely", thus awkwardly halving my meal for 2 into a meal for 1. At least the bone-in wings were nice, crispy, and flavorful! Much better than what I had at BWW! I was able to recoup those missing fries, but went with Louisiana Voodoo this time. Those were pretty good and also worth a 70-cent upcharge, but I didn't like how the fries themselves were too soft and not crispy even though the menu description says they should be. I may have to ask for the fries to be cooked well done next time I order fries. The 15-piece Meal for 2 comes with two drinks, and I do appreciate being offered a drink carrier to carry both drinks out with ease. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine where you can choose from a multitude of different flavors, and there's only one dispenser in the machine rather than one for each different drink. You can find this Wingstop on the northeast corner of Carson and Woodruff in the same building as Glory Days Sports Grill, One Sip Boba Tea House, and WaBa Grill. Same plaza as Vons. There's ample parking in front, and there's parking in the rear as well. This is the third Wingstop I've patronized this year, and I think this location is the best of the three, but not good enough for me to award a 4th star. They are just inconsistent all around, but the employees do exhibit better work ethic here save for the missing fries, a major oversight that I have to repeat in this review as a reminder of how bad they can mess up a customer's order.
