5/3/22 - tonight at 9:20pm we went to chick fil a at the Long Beach Townecenter. There was 3 cars ahead of me and I thought it'll be quick like the Cerritos and Seal Beach location but nooo. Lol it took forever. I order a spicy chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese. When I received my order I checked it to make sure everything was there, but it looks like my Mac n cheese was missing instead they gave me the waffle fries. Apparently the person that took my order didn't put in for Mac n cheese. I didn't want to make a fuss so we left. We got home and while i was drinking my diet sun joy. I felt something weird in my mouth that came up from the straw. It was some type of plastic object. Yuck!! By far the worst Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. Asked for a side of pickles and the girl looked at me like I was insane. Ordered a gallon of tea and she couldn't even give me a cup!?... Uhm... ok. Paid for a cup in addition to the gallon of tea. This is the ONLY Chick-fil-A that has ever charged me for a cup when I bought a gallon of tea for $6.25 but... okay. The minis were hard and falling apart. The Owner must be a penny pincher, brings down the level of quality and customer satisfaction you usually get when going to Chick-fil-A. Went here after watching a movie at Edwards. They ran out of fries an hour before closing. How does that even happen? Someone doesn't know how to manage this location. I worked at a Chick-fil-A for over 2 years in high school. I know how it should be ran. There was 1 cashier with at least 10 people in line. Definitely wouldn't fly where I was working. The cashier forgot to give the guy before me his cash change, so it took even longer. Definitely a no-no. Maybe they need new managers. They had at least 3 people in the back kitchen (obviously not cooking fries since they ran out). There were also at least 4 people walking around. They might have been handling the drive thru line but what terrible usage of resources. I will never come back to this location. Ended up at In-N-Out instead. The food was served hot by a super friendly employee. The chicken sandwich was fresh the bun was hot and exactly what you've come to expect when you come here. WORST experience ever because of the unprofessional MANAGER. I was in the area of store #01813 and my kids begged for Chick-fil-a. I really didn't have the money, but gave in and treated them. We went through the drive through with no one in line. There was a girl and guy outside together taking orders. We waited about 30 seconds for one of them to finish looking at the other ones phone before someone walked over to take our order. I ordered 4 SPICY chicken sandwiches drove up to the window and grabbed my bag. It wasn't until 10 mins later that we realized that they were all regular. I was going to let it go but I just paid $30 for 4 sandwiches , so I drive all the way back. The manager was actually the one that helped me. He is the reason for the bad review!!! Not only did his crew get my order wrong but he charged me the difference for the spicy sandwiches. Not only did I pay $30 for the wrong order I even had to pay the difference for unprofessional service lol. Please Chick-fal-a get this manager who was in charge at 9:00pm at 1/4/25 more training. This is the second time that we ate here. I just don't see what is the big deal here with the line. First of all. the service is terrible here. I was handed back receipt and credit card while the cashier chit-chatting and looking at another staff. Secondly, the food is simply terrible and overpriced. This is the worst chick-fil-a I have ever been to. The service was horrible the workers looked miserable, didn't bother to greet and had attitude. The drive thru was empty yet I couldn't place my order where the menu was ??? This review is for my visit last week only. Normally I'm very pleased with Chick-fil-A. The food is tasty, service is superior (like how staff always says "It's my pleasure" when you thank them), they are very family friendly (oftentimes they have someone in their cow costumes for the kids, and many of their outlets have kids play areas and family nights), and their sweet tea is diabetically, I mean magically delicious! But on this visit to their drive-thru, I was saddened to see the sign that read "currently out of fries". What the what?! So when I finally got to the speakerbox, I had to confirm that the sign was really correct and sadly, the lady said they were out of waffle fries. Booooo! So my chicken sandwich was ordered alone, and was lonely without their yummy waffle french fries. How do you run out of fries if you're a fast food restaurant? Inconceivable!! I'll wager french fries are one of their top selling items. So for that reason, I reduced my rating to a 3 star from what would have been a 4 star. Harrumph. read more

Chick-Fil-A is the only fast food place I don't feel guilty after eating. I prefer to come here during breakfast hours. My favorite thing on there menu is the chicken minis and waffle fries (well done) Although the chicken if fried and the bread has tons of butter it's delish! They also have the best condiments.. Chick fil a sauce, Polynesian, honey mustard, buffalo and BBQ. There all purty good but I like the Polynesian since it's sweet. I've been to this location numerous times, and I'd say 75% of the time they forget something in my order after I've already paid.

I love this Chick-fil-A. The staff is very polite, the food is always served hot and they are not stingy with the sauce. I never have any issues with redeeming my coupons for my free food items. The location of this Chic-fil-A is in the Long Beach Town Center. It's in an awkward place and traffic often gets a bit crazy. But they are proactive & find ways to alleviate these issues. The drive-through moves quickly as they have a person taking your order & you pay with them (rain or shine) so when you pull up to the window you just grab your food and go. read more

This used to be my favorite Chick-fil-A when they first opened but then it just increasingly got worse and worse. The service is just not there anymore . I ordered a pickup like half an hour ago and then by the time I got there to the restaurant I still have to wait an additional 20 minutes . They got my order wrong . If there was a space for 10 stars, I would give this place 10 stars. Most of my bad reviews of places are concerned with the crappy customer service of businesses these days. But the people working here know what it takes to keep customers happy and coming back. Here's how: Right when my bf and I came in, an employee getting off work welcomed us into the restaurant. When we went to the cashier, all five cashiers greeted us with a smile. Ordering the food was very easy since we got the chicken sandwich meal (with fries and drink); the cashier was very patient as well. When they sent out the food, the cashier came out to the seating area and called out my name so I thought it was a friend calling me name! The way they allocate orders is friendly sounding, not like the places that shout out your name/number on the microphone for all to hear. During our meal, the employees came out a few times to check on our meal and to ask if we wanted a free refill or some samples. As for the food quality, the chicken was tender, juicy and fresh. They also use fresh veggies; the lettuce is truly green. They have lots of sauce options like ketchup (cute lil packets), mayo, mustard, tabasco sauce, ranch, etc. The waffle fries were amazing too. I love the ambiance; it feels like a nice restaurant even though it's a fast food type of restaurant. The restrooms are clean and the staff is excellent. It's not every day that you're awake at 7am and something so simple as chick-fil-a can put a smile on your face. Well that happened! There are limited options for breakfast on the run at 7am most days of the week, so I decided to go to my local and trusted chick-fil-a for some of the chicken goodness they have. I decided to dine in and enjoy the peacefulness of the empty restaurant at 7am on a Monday.. I was greeted by the smiling shift lead and they took my order. My food was delivered to my table quickly and it was fresh and delicious as I expect from them! But what elevated my experience, was when I noticed the lead going outside to help a gentleman carry in boxes. What are in those boxes? I asked myself.. then I noticed as slowly the gentleman began pulling out individually made vases of two beautiful flowers to personally put on each table. WOW.. talk about blown away. The drive-thru line was longer than the in-n-out line. Normally this would make me pick the shorter line but I have never seen a line longer than In-n-Out during the lunch rush. This was also my first time trying one of their chicken sandwiches. I thought it was weird they had a person taking orders before the customer had seen the menu, especially since the menu was longer than In-n-Out. I was glad that the person helping me was prepared to help guide me through what to order. Here for lunch? Do you like spicy or non-spicy? Try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, it's quite popular. Would you like to have it as a combo? Would you like any sauces with your order we have.... Quick and painless, it was perfect for my first time. The sandwich itself sealed the deal. The bread was soft and had good flavor. The spicy chicken had a good kick to it. I didn't get to try to waffle fries while they were hot but they were still crispy and delicious cold. Worst customer service. They made a mistake on my order and when I asked if they could fix it, Dasha was so rude. She told me to go to the counter to buy it again. I asked her again if she could ask if they can fix it. She said she would ask and took my food. I waited like 30 minutes while I watched my family eat before I went to the counter and when I asked where my salad was, the manager said he would start making it. My family was done eating and I asked if I could be refunded because at this point everyone was done. He rudely said okay and never apologized or tried to make it right he just gave me the cash. I Love Chick fil a, it's my favorite fast food restaurant. There were a couple things I did not like about this location. 1. The girl taking g our order in the drive thru was too slow, 2. When I got my food, the fries were suuuuper greasy, they were definitely hot, but very very greasy. The chicken strips were very small and also very greasy, it was kind of gross. The employees were nice, they get a five star for that, but the food here gets a 3, never thought I would do this, but I need to be honest. If you have never tried it, I recommend it 100%.
