When I got to the drive-thru, I let them know I had a mobile order and gave them my name. They found it immediately, and my food was ready almost right away. Everything was in the bag, the process was quick and convenient, and the food was very fresh. The fries and tenders were both really good, but honestly the sriracha sauce was the star for me. Popped in for a late lunch while shopping in the area. Wild to me the crowd on a Thursday afternoon at 2.45. There was a steady line of cars in the drive thru as we sat outside on a beautiful spring afternoon. Also a steady crowd in the resturant to order food for eating in. I seem to have a hard time getting hot fries which was my only complaint with the food, location or service. Young man who waited on us at the counter was polite, efficient and friendly. They brought our chicken strips, luke warm waffle fries and cobb salad to our outside table. Hubby really enjoyed his salad and my tenders were crispy and hot. We had all the sauces/dressings we needed. Ample parking. A bit tricky getting there from Shelbyville heading east. I'm always a fan of Chick-fil-A, but today I want to give special recognition to the Shelbyville Road location in St. Matthews, Louisville. This spot is in a very busy part of town, and while it can be tricky to get in and out, Chick-fil-A's team once again proves why they're the best. Their drive-thru logistics are unmatched, making the ordering process smooth and stress-free. Today I ordered five kids' meals and a large diet lemonade, and with a reward, the total was $29. For feeding all five of my kids with high-quality food, that's a win! The grilled chicken is especially delicious, and the mac and cheese is always a favorite for my kids. But as always, it's the people who make this location shine. The staff is friendly, efficient, and go above and beyond to provide excellent service. And it's squeaky clean inside! Visiting from California. Headed straight here after my flight landed (long travel day, layover included). Arrived 2 minutes before they stopped taking orders but, because of the way the drive through is set up, I almost went in the wrong way, had to go into a parking spot to turn around and drive all the way around the building- thus it was exactly 10pm when I got to an employee who said "sorry" and would not take my order. There were two employees at the drive through line and only one other car there (already at the window to pick up food), so I'm pretty certain they saw me trying to get into the drive through appropriately... Wish they had been kind enough to accommodate seeing as they saw me trying to get in before the closing time. read more

I just had the most amazing experience at Chick-fil-a on Shelbyville. Norma came to check in and offered a refill of my drink as well as asked about my meal. The food was delicious; I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The flavor was outstanding. I was particularly interested in the drawings that children made posted on a wall in the restaurant. Whoever those kids were, did an amazing job. I always enjoy the environment of chick-fil-a and the staff are always super friendly. I also want to special shoutout Keller at the register. Such a cozy Chick-fil-A location! The interior has lots of windows and feels super open and inviting. Staff is all super friendly and made it a great experience. Drive-through line went by quickly and inside was super clean. The food was delicious and put a smile on my face. Just the most annoying experience with their drive through. Girl taking my order had a complete conversation with someone else before acknowledging me. Would think she would step away from my car until she was ready to take my order. Was completely disengaged with me the entire time and tried to pull the card reader away from my card instead of asking me to remove my card. She almost seemed high. I ordered a 12 piece with a drink and a side of mac n cheese. She never asked if I wanted the meal so there were no fries in our order. You would think she would have asked if I was subbing the mac for the fries. This was rocket science apparently. read more

I love the chicken nuggets so I ordered a small order on the app. It is really so easy to use and you can order anything from the menu and set up to either go inside to get or pull into one of the outside pick up spaces. As per the usual expectations with this establishment, they only disappointed me a few times and this was one of those times. I am not one for giving an absolutely terrible review because of one thing. It did suck though. Now, we pulled up here on Friday evening, on February 19th. I placed our orders through the mobile app. Two salads. Neither of us eat pork, but only his order came with bacon (Cobb Salad) so I made sure to ask to have it removed. I got the spicy chicken tortilla salad (not sure of the exact name) but I asked for no chicken and no tomatoes. Mine didn't include bacon. We make it back home to eat and as I am pouring my dressing and stirring the salad, there was a meat like substance that popped up. Low and behold, THERE WAS A PIECE OF BACON IN MY SALAD! I don't usually rate fast food but have you had the macaroni and cheese at Chick-fil-A? They ran out one day a few weeks ago and I could have cried. I know I pouted. I needed that soft, gooey, creamy and cheesy comfort. It's even covered in cheese and baked golden. Today I am vindicated and my tummy is happy. They should make it in a 13x9 pan and sell as carry out. I'm not even typically a Mac and cheese girl but THIS Mac and cheese... the pictures won't do it justice but I'll attach none-the-less. The service is excellent at this location. The orders come out correctly. The staff is both pleasant and efficient and aways observing social distancing and mask protocols. The closet Chick-fil-A near my house, so I couldn't want to get some chicken. But, it was such a disappointment! I stopped in this past Saturday afternoon for some lunch and went for the spicy chicken deluxe meal, chicken nuggets meal with strawberry milkshakes added on. I ordered a to-go meals and only realized they forgot my extra order of fries once I got home (only received 2 out of the 3 fries ordered so I'm out a few bucks). They also gave me grilled nuggets instead of fried nuggets - which were cold and dry. I absolutely love how they have so many healthy options to choose from, and are very open with their nutrition facts. The location is a bit of a tight squeeze when it comes to the drive thru, but the long lines typically move fairly quick. Customer service is always top notch and it is rare that they mess up my order. I LOVE their calendar cards, where you can get a free item every month. The calendar costs around $30 and it is totally worth it!! If I'm in the mood to indulge, I am obsessed with their spicy chicken sandwich. The diet lemonade is a total win also. If only other drive thru chains can get on their level, then the world would be a much happier place! read more

You could not safely get through the lot in order to exit, let alone park. There were 15 curb side pick up parking slots leaving none for indoor eating. A few years ago, I used to eat at the St. Matthews Chick-fil-A location all the time in Louisville, and it always felt clean with good service. I went away for a while and came back to visit this location today. This time around, the St. Matthews Chick-fil-A felt dirtier than I remember. I noticed there was a redesign of the inside, which is fine. If the place was clean, it would get a thumbs up from me. But a lot of tables were not clean and there were no trash bags inside the trash containers. Also, why did they take away the condiments table with the napkins and ketchup? I had been craving some chicken after shopping in the mall across the street. I get there pretty easy considering it's Shelbyville Rd. I get a great welcome as I walk up to the counter and the guy working there , you could tell that he likes his job. I ordered my Chick-Fil-la meal and he gives me a sign so they can deliver the meal to my table when it's done. I get my food, it's good as usual then I try to open my ketchup and can't. I asked a worker there if he could open it for me and gladly he did. ( I felt really weak at this point) lol. Over all the place and food is very good ( especially for fast food). Chuck-fil-a is always a good option for the whole family unless it's on a Sunday (they're closed). We enjoy food, family friendly atmosphere, kids area to play, and a staff that says, "my pleasure." The chicken comes out hot, fast, and tasty. They even have the crushed ice if that's your thing (like me).
