I like Panera because you can choose so many options and customize the way you want. I struggled because I feel like the cost at Panera is pricey, compared to other restaurants. It was $42 for three of us to eat. It was very good, and loved the options we can choose but I feel like it just keeps getting higher each time. It is always clean and they are friendly, but is overpriced for what you get.

This is a great option to pick up breakfast for a group. Order and pay in the app for Rapid Pick Up and you're good to go!

I just ordered one of their signature chicken sandwiches. It is plain, pretty tasteless. For the amountbthey charge I was expecting A LOT more. I couldn't order their bbq chicken because they arw out of res onion. Really? Go to Kroger down the street.

Confession: This review is based on the few times I've gone to this Panera. Every time, it's for a Kitchen Sink cookie. That dang cookie is the best! I always opt for Rapid Pick-Up, so I'm in and out of this location quickly. The cookie is always delicious. More often than not, my cookies have been free because I'm a part of the Panera Bread Rewards program. I get one every year on my birthday, and there are times throughout the year when I'll get a message for a free treat. I ALWAYS go for the same thing- that Kitchen Sink cookie. Next time, I'll be sure to take a photo of the cookie before devouring it; they never last long enough for me to pull out a camera.

I'm really excited this is now on Dixie. Besides the Panera menu we know and love thus place is clean, modern, and streamlined for order -ahead business. I came at an unusual time and I'll assign the unusual wait time to that, although they had an army of people working - mainly standing and chatting. This is what I expect from Panera. They aren't in a hurry and neither should you be. I mean, they've pulled from around town to staff the place and get it on its feet. My French Onion soup was what I know and love, my turkey bravo was the stuff fat kids dream about. I know because I dream about it.

The service here was awesome. The shift supervisor Ronneka was awesome. She was very helpful in helping me decide what I wanted to eat. There is a sign in the door requiring mask. I will most definitely being visiting again

This review is intended for their catering services. I have used them this year almost every other week for breakfast and they always do an amazing job. The order is always perfect with no mistakes and the food is warm when it arrives. They set up, get our of your way, and let the crew feast!

My "chicken" on my sandwich, my punishment for coming in too close to closing

Horrible!!!! The food here is good most of the time, but last night I went in about a half hour before closing because I was coming back from somewhere else and didn't have time earlier. When I got in all the employees started looking at me funny and mumbling things like "oh god, I'm not going back up there". I was really nice about it and apologized for coming in so late, even though they were still open. When I got home my sandwich was literally just chicken skin. I know they saw this and I know they did it on purpose. My salad dressing was spilling out of container and made a mess everywhere. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Love love Panera bread ! This location is off of a sucky highway HOWEVER the extra wait at the light was so worth it! This location is so clean & well lit . Perfect for lunch with friends or even a solo study session with good food! Customer service was so great with friendly greeting & pleasant small talk . The menu has so many options with soups , salads , sandwiches , and dessert! Today I was so glad to see their turkey chili was back ! It's my fav! I chose the pick two . Chilli , tuna sandwich , and chips !! Even added a dessert for .99 ! I am full & satisfied ! Would recommend this establishment at this location & others !

So I cannot ever say enough good things about Panera Bread. I feel like every location is very consistent and this one is no exception. I come to this Panera bread most frequently because it is located near where I work. Today I ordered the You Pick Two combo. I ordered a Napa chicken sandwich and broccoli soup. My order was correct and delicious as always. There was also a spoon and napkins in my bag for me. I would have to say about 90% of the time I utilize the online rapid pick up option. Ordering online is so easy and convenient. Today I last minute decided that I wanted this for lunch and I was able to order and pick up my food in 15 minutes. The store was very clean. My order was in the correct spot in the rapid pick up area and the drink/condiment station was clean and stocked. They even gave a friendly hello when I walked in. In my opinion Panera bread is going to cost you a little bit more than some other "fast food" Restaurant's. But the quality is far better; the food is fresh and clean. I feel the extra couple bucks are always worth it!!! This is a great place to grab and go, or to have a nice sit down meal with your friends or family. I would recommend this location and this restaurant to anyone who asks. Thank you Panera bread for providing good quality meals!!

I had a half ruben sandwich and a bowl of white chili. Both were excellent. A huge half sandwich and a large hearty bowl of white chili. The chili was flavorful but not spicy. It had lots of shredded chicken, beans and corn (which could have been left out in my opinion). My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and the white chili and said her sandwich was good, also a very large. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, parking on the side and in the back of the building. I had not been for years but it was a good choice for a late lunch.

The restaurant includes a long row of bar seating that extends to the other end of the restaurant, so there was no problem for me to find a seat on a busy day. I ordered the Mac n cheese and braised greens, and the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy. The braised greens were just okay, it wasn't the best greens I've had and it could use extra flavor. I don't know if this is a thing they do at Doc Crow's, but in my opinion the bartender excessively kept asking me what I wanted even while I was still looking at the menu. This definitely frustrated me since it was clear that I wasn't ready yet. I think she should have done a better job reading my cues to figure out when I am ready to order.

My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I spent most of the afternoon on a bourbon tour and a post-tour distillery so...food was needed. And quickly. In our mild defense, we didn't really know how the day was going to go or when we were actually going to have dinner, which made it a little tougher to pre-plan, but no research went into this at all and we paid for it. We wrapped up our bourbon adventures at the Angel's Envy distillery probably five or six blocks from here. Instead of being grownups and doing at least a quick/impromptu recon for spots, we literally just walked outside and down W Main St until we hit something. And we hit this, which was right on the edge of the main tourist area, pretty much Louisville's equivalent of the Times Square/MSG area. And as someone who works and used to live in NYC, you'd have to do a lot of convincing to get me to eat in that particular area - it's overpriced and the food/service just tends to not be very good, which makes you wonder what the appeal is for tourists beyond the convenience. But regardless, it's always struck me as an odd way for a tourism spot to put its best foot forward (or not). Doc Crow's is enormous, and when we were brought further into the restaurant to our table, I think we literally walked through three or four large rooms and navigated through multiple passageways. If you told me this place took up an entire city block or close to it, I'd believe you. Beyond the size/scope, there's nothing really distinctive that separates it from the myriad of other restaurants you'd expect to see catering to out-of-towners. It was the Friday evening of Memorial Day Weekend, so a place that I suspect is usually pretty busy was even busier and louder than that. Maybe not the greatest recipe after a bourbon tour, but who can say. On the app front, we got the Crispy Salmon Bites, which were fine. Not an item I typically see on a menu, even one with more of a seafood bent. I thought the cornmeal/panko breading was the right call; I'm a big catfish aficionado, so I'm of the opinion that cornmeal is underutilized, at least in the Northeast where I come from. Otherwise, nothing really mind-blowing there; probably would have made sense for it to be a different type of fish given the prep (I think salmon is best raw in a sushi roll or grilled), but it could have been worse. I don't think a ton of thought went into this on my end, but I went with the full rack BBQ ribs, along with a side of mac n' cheese. Again, okay, though not as flavorful as I would have hoped and I thought the ribs were on the dry side. Not their fault, but I always regret getting the full rack in hindsight because ribs have a deceptively significant amount of meat on the bones and a half rack is a very decent portion by itself; I am a work in progress just like everyone else. The mac n' cheese was also pretty dry, which I think you can see pretty obviously in the accompanying picture. Tasted and felt reheated at least once or twice. The service was pretty efficient given how busy it was, but our waiter was just on robotic autopilot. Not remotely personable and everything I said to him was responded to with, "For sure, for sure." Maybe he was having a rough night to start the holiday weekend, but it felt like he was just going through the motions and just checking off some boxes there. I went into this already predisposed to not like the generic tourist trap places, so grain of salt. But my recommendation if you have the time/bandwidth (now that I'm a cagey Louisville vet) is to bypass this area if you can and find something tastier and more interesting in the Highlands neighborhood. That's where the real ones are.

I think my cocktail was called the Tokyo Pop? Not positive but you have to get it. Gin, bubbles, sake, and a hint of lemon in a flute glass. Refreshing, a hint of sweet, a hint of lemon, and extremely drinkable. It would be too easy to throw a ton of these back. But I was demure and had one. I enjoyed the calamari--my go-to here. Crispy, with a bit of heat from pickled peppers, a bit a of sweet form a sweet glaze, and a nice herby zing from mint, herbs, and scallions.
