My issue was today, just about 1:30 I was taking my kiddo to the bathroom and a young female employee (heavier eyeliner, hair in a large bun on the very top of her head) came into the restroom too. After using the restroom, freshened up in the mirror but did not wash her hands. She literally stuck them under the faucet for barely a second, dried them and walked out. This was after we had eaten. This is an employee that touches the food people consume, and she used the bathroom without washing to go right back to touching the food people eat. Again, the rest of the restaurant was very clean, they kept going around to make sure everything was spotless and in order. I've never been a huge fan of Chick-fil-A because of the long lines of cars in the drive-thru lanes. Their food is good and I'm not a fan of the waffle fries, but many are and I respect everyone's opinion and tastes. Today I had a hankering to try their Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich. It has "grilled chicken, brown sugar pepper bacon, Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and a zesty Smokehouse BBQ Sauce - all served on a toasted Hawaiian-style sweet yeast bun." I opted for fried chicken breast instead of grilled. It was very good and tasty. The sandwich was delicious and very tasty. I would definitely buy it again. I am often here with a friend for Bible study and we are there for a few hours and workers come by and refill our drinks. It's also never too busy. Tonight, I happen to do a mobile order at another location in Mansfield, by the time I made it closer to this side of Mansfield I noticed that my Arnold Palmer was disgusting. So I stopped by this location (not having any expectations) which I happened to catch Sam in the parking lot dropping off another customer's mobile order. I told him my situation and asked if he could replace my Arnold Palmer (expected to pay for it) and Sam replaced large Arnold Palmer for free not even knowing that I am a faithful consumer of CFA. One of the best fast food places in town. I love their Cobb salad, chicken sandwich, nuggets and strips. I am surprised that this location only has 3.5 starts because the employees are so nice and helpful. This location is always clean and quick. It's a place you can go by at lunch time because they don't take a long time. This is my favorite breakfast fast food. Their biscuits are top notch! Super buttery and fluffy and fresh. The lady who took my order misunderstood me and that's fine I can understand the headsets not being that clear, but when I went up to the window "Ashley" per her coworker, was rude, once I stated that there was a miscommunication with my order and some of it was wrong her whole attitude/demeanor changed, she became noticeably irritated. The past maybe 6 times that I have been to Chicfila have been disappointing. I always get a chicken sandwich. The chicken filet should be semi even thickness throughout & crisp but not greasy. It usually comes out too fat(ick!), soggy with hunks of fat that wasn't trimmed off & more soggy than crispy. . My child has to ask for Well Done to get a crispy sandwich or nuggets. Seems high maintenance but she won't eat them any other way. Like most CFA, you expect friendly service, clean dining and delicious food, but what sets this place apart from the others is the décor and setup. This is an excellent Chick-fil-A. I do recommend if you don't like crowds to go before 12 or after 1 for lunch, because they get really busy. There is never to long of a wait though. Three stars is a courtesy since we came to this one on Cow Appreciation Day (7/12/16), for which they seemed "udderly" unprepared. I walked up to see cash being thrusted back at a family in black-marked white shirts because it wasn't enough to pay for the drinks. Only one item was free unless you were decked out from head to hoof, not just to the waist. As for us, they totally forgot our order. We gave them the benefit of the doubt until Both friends who came in later and ordered several minutes after us got their meals first. I thought management handled this day impatiently, making an already-overwhelming situation harder on themselves and the customers.
