Just had the worst experience I've ever had at a Chik-Fil-A. Sat on life from 10:30-10:36am to be told they weren't offering breakfast. There weren't nearly enough employees scheduled to handle the customers Only one 2 employees were taking orders outside and the line was literally around the restaurant. A second line had to form just to get into the main line. Again, something I haver never seen ar any other location across the country. I spoke with the Manager, MacKenzie Hogan who was very rude and condescending and didn't handle my issue the way I have come to know and expect from their restaurants. Their management attempted to explain that this a a "growing store" and they can't hire people who don't apply..." While I can appreciate that, the simple fact is that burden lies on the service provider and not the customer. read more

Chick-fil-a is far and away my favorite fast food. The quality of the chicken is great. It's actual pieces of meat and not some spongy concoction. The waffle fries are addictive. The desserts are dreamy, especially the soft serve vanilla and the cookies and cream shake. That service at this restaurant possibly stands out more than the food. When I walk in and they notice I have my hands full with kids, an employee typically comes to my table with a menu to take my order to spare me the hassle of waiting in line. There's a play area, complimentary mouthwash on the restrooms and the place is CLEAN. The food and the experience are superior, and I crave it at least once a week! read more

This is a great location! All employees are very friendly and the service is always fantastic. The drive thru moves quickly, even when wrapped around the building. Stopped here to pick up some chicken nuggets "real quick" on my way to meet a friend. When I ordered at the counter, I told her which nuggets I wanted, and which sauces. As I was waiting for my food, the girl who had taken my order asked me again which sauces I had asked for. I wasn't surprised she had forgotten, as she seemed preoccupied while taking my order. She did not give me the sauces, so I assumed they would be in my bag. When I got my food, I got to my car before realizing I still had not been given any sauce. So I went back in for it. I was annoyed, but polite, and thanked the girl probably for the third or fourth time, no "you're welcome" or "my pleasure" or "I'm sorry." This location has unfortunately fallen off hard in the last year. I used to go to a CFA at least weekly, but the inconsistencies and terrible service gave me the excuse I needed to kick the habit. Yesterday, the issue was that an advertised sandwich was no longer available and the women's room had a toilet that wouldn't flush. Two weeks ago, they gave me a thimble full of the pimento cheese topping on the side instead of putting it on the sandwich. Every time I go there I have to search for a table that isn't dirty and most families are cleaning it themselves with wet wipes. It's impossible to get someone's attention for refills if you dine in, and there's something wrong half the time I go through the drive through. Prices go up every quarter it seems and so do the wait times while the rewards points value and service go down. I'd love for them to get it together, but I'm not sure they care about anything other than DoorDash or delivery nowadays. read more

Literally love this location. I eat here very often with my family or by myself through the drive-through. The drive-through is always fast and accurate and if it is not accurate they fix it with no issue and no hassle. I met my daughter, son-in-law, 2 grandchildren and my brother, sister-in-law and 2 cousins on a post Christmas friday night for some good food and family fun. They have a play area that my 3 year old grandson & cousin were excited to run and climb around in as was my 5 year old neice. The spicy chicken sandwich and the #wafflefries were a great tasting treat. I really like their special yellow dipping sauce on the fries. The kids had children's meals. There is a nice amount of flexibility in what you can get with them. The plain #chickennuggets without breading are very good. They are favorite of my granddaughter who is one year old. With a nice causal atmosphere and good fast service this was the perfect place for a very affordable and easy family fun night. I'm pretty sure this is the closest location to downtown beside the one at UC in TUC. I don't usually review "Fast Food" but this Chick-Fil-A is solid. We always go here when craving a quick badass chicken sandwich. Get the original Chick-Fil-A sandwich and ask for a side of pickles if you really like pickles on your sandwich. If you just ask for "Extra Pickles" they give you like one more pickle and it's on a sandwich they've had sitting out for a while with an "Extra Pickle" sticker on it. Just ask for the side of extras pickles. They hook you up. Everyone who works here is pretty nice. They even heard me making fun of them once at the speaker while I was waiting for them to take my order. I was like "My Pleasure, Sacrifice 20 virgins for a chicken sandwich." And the girl came on the speaker right then and was laughing at me. So It's cool that they can take a joke...and "My Pleasure" is still kind of creepy and cult-like in my opinion. Haha. True to Chick-Fil-A style though they have two speakers to drive up too and the lines are always wrapped around the building. That being said, from my experience it's faster to just park and runs in. Usually, the same car is sitting at the speaker by the time I get back out with my food. The only bad thing about this Chick-Fil-A is the location. It's a pain in the butt to get in and out of. What I'm saying is make sure you have your patience with you when you go get your chicken. P.S. If you put the Chick-Fil-A on your phone you get a free chicken sandwich. Also, after you leave here always check the bottom of your receipt because you can get a free chicken sandwich with that too when they offer it. read more

I've never seen people so... nice?! at a fast-food establishment. After the whole political controversy, going to Chick-Fil-A at NYU's location was like a walk of shame. Also, it was bad. So, I'm not one to positively rate a franchise place, or really even chain restaurants, but I realized the other day that I've never had a BAD experience in a Chick-fil-A. I've had a bad Arby's experience, I've visited a few bad Burger Kings and Wendy's, I've even had a bad Chipotle visit, and I don't think I've had a GOOD Long John Silver's experience. But, I feel like that's what they're going for, so I'm not sure it counts. Newport CFA is always friendly, always quick, always hospitable to my entire family, and with any CFA, the most delicious lemonade this side of "when life gives you lemons." The parking lot is kind of like hell, but the trick is to cut through Buffalo Wild Wings or LaRosa's parking lot to avoid the folks coming out of Target. The play place is always clean, and always a good way for my kids to burn off energy on a cold or rainy day. Totally worth the drive. read more

It's Chick-fil-a. What can I say? Chick-fil-a is a institution of pleasantness and exceptional fast food. It is a go-to destination for our family. My daughter and I frequent Chick-Fil-a, at least, once every two weeks. I love the original chicken sandwich, though my dietary restriction limits the intake of that wonderful, and classic creation. I really like the salad options and the chicken salad sandwich. Always ask for Chick-Fil-a sauce with fries, basically like a mild, tangier honey mustard. I bought a Chick-Fil-a Cow Calendar to support my daughter's band program and use the card provided with it monthly to get a free special offer. So far, this year, free chicken tortilla soup and chicken minis for breakfast. Score! Always a five star review for this location. We adore Chick-fil-a. read more

On my son's 3rd birthday we asked where he wanted to go and "Chick-Fil-A" was his obvious choice. We invited my folks and decided to make a celebration out of it. When we arrived we were told that we could have a seat and someone would come take our order. What an incredible experience. They noticed our kids and realized sometimes it's just easier to sit down. I am reviewing this based on just this order. We live .5 miles from this store and usually have great service... LOVE that I can get and egg and cheese on bun in the morning.... TODAY HOWEVER , we were told to pull to the side.... we ordered simple stuff... one large fry to share, chicken nuggets, grilled chicken, spicy chicken and a cool wrap. Rarely do drive thru for dinner and we did so because we wanted NO work for dinner and just eat in front of the tv-- a big deal for our kids.... did not work out that way... I will NEVER pull up when asked again as that means at least another 10 minute wait..... I know I'm being incredibly impatient but we were on a time crunch which is why we did drive thru.... this is not what we are used to with our local chic filet... really hoping this was a fluke as we typically enjoy their food as being a bit healthier when it comes to fast food (not sure if that's actually true)..... while we didn't get the sauces or ketchup requested we will still eat here again but will MEVER rely on them in a hurry.... again... we had basic items if just one was holding us up Then we would have taken it off.... please give people options... in drive thru... usually people are in a rush... we have a 6 year that loves their play area.... we usually go inside... just disappointed about this experience and drive them and missing sauces.. read more

Today I got free chocolate milkshake while going through the drive thru because I had to wait maybe two minutes longer than usual. Pulled up to the window as was greeted by the manager who said, "We're extremely sorry for the lengthy wait today, so this one's on us." How awesome is that? Overall the management team at the Newport location is extremely in-sync with its customers and employees. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5-star rating is due to the fact they still can't seem to work out the glitches from when they first opened almost a year and a half ago. If you're visiting during heavy traffic meal times, then you're probably in for a longer wait than usual and there's a pretty good chance they'll get your order wrong. It's happened to me at least a dozen plus times in the past year alone. However, they do it with a smile (and mean it) and often handout free gift coupons to make good on their mistakes. Even before quarantine, this chick fil a is the only one I've ever had such consistent problems with. The example from tonight is an order for 2 nugget meals, 2 sandwiches, 3 large fries, and 3 drinks, we got one sandwich, the wrong size fries, and coke instead of diet. This chick fil a is on the slower side service wise of chick fil as I've visited. The breakfast is always on point; however, my sandwich usually has a soggy bun. If you're coming at a busier time (lunch or dinner) be prepared to wait in line inside or at the drive through. read more

I always have a great experience at this fast food chain. Tonight was no different. The food was fresh, employees were fast with service and the employees always have a friendly attitude. I find this location has a clean dining area and even if it looks chaotic on the outside because of the long drive-thru lines during peak meal hours, it still feels fairly calm and organized inside the restaurant and the line at the counter goes fast. Chick-fil-A is a new experience for me. We arrived at this location after a full day at the zoo. My kids were exhausted and I was carrying the toddler. A worker immediately greeted us and shows us to a table where she took our order there and delivered it to us. The kids immediately perked up when they saw the play area, which I was dubious of, but went in with them and once I saw how clean it was, I felt better about letting them play. The food was delivered with wet wipes, which I really appreciated and wiped down my kids hands before they ate. When we were done the worker bussed our table for us. I was very impressed. Kid friendliness - high. Clean and fun play area that even my toddler enjoyed. Food that all 3 kids ate gladly, and even better than that, *I* liked the food! We had a competition at BBandT Arena tonight. We found out the concessions closed before we performed so we had no way to feed our group of teenagers. We went to another place nearby and they were not able to accommodate us. We called Chick-fil-A and they were more than happy to serve us. They were fantastic and when one of the orders was mixed up, one of the employees corrected it quickly and then went another step further. I stopped in this morning because I received an email that said they were giving a free side and drink with the purchase of an entree on Wednesdays for a limited time for breakfast. I ordered the hash brown scramble burrito and a coke and was charged full price with no side item at all. Total was over 10. The manager even delivered my order and made small talk but still an expensive breakfast. He did not acknowledge the special. The burritos, when unwrapped, were greasy and and the tortillas were split open with everything spilling out. Ended up in the trash.
