We started off with the salad. It is in a nice sized bowl with greens, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, green peppers and feta cheese, but it is drenched in dressing. I'll have to see if they can make the dressing optional the next time. I ordered the Cava Gyro that also came with fries. Everything was so good as I expected it to be. Perfect temperature too. The other in our party had the same thing and enjoyed their sandwich as well. For dessert I enjoyed their Greek donuts called Loukoumades. In a few pictures online it looks like it is served with the fixings already poured on the donuts - the Nutella and the honey and walnuts, but when I received the dish, each item was separate, so they put you in charge of doing the drizzling of those toppings - I like it. The donuts were round and plump (7 total) with a little sprinkling of sugar and are very airy when you eat each. It has become one of my favorites here. I went with one of my classic favs -- the bison burger with fries. And it was Burger Tuesday, so it was $5 off, yay! I was sitting at the bar and the bartender was handling everyone's orders efficiently. I forgot his name, but he was a nice older guy. It was nice to see what the original location looks like, and it truly is a nice layout. I'd return, but I'm hoping the location near my house returns sooner than later :).

The owners are really nice. Staff knows us by name now. My favorite dish is the spicy pickled soup with fish. I would've never ordered this, but I took a friend and he did and it now is my favorite. There are so many other good dishes, though as well the Szechuan crispy shrimp is really good. If you're looking for something that's not as hot the crispy beef is really good as well sweet and very mild. Their sushi is pretty good too. Sushi Katana is still my favorite local sushi restaurant. Jiang court sushi is right next to them in quality. If you're not sure about Szechuan Chinese food, ask Miss Lucy for recommendations. She is amazing if she's not around ask for Kevin he'll set you straight to. What I really like about the staff is you can ask them and they'll give you honest answers. They have the obligatory American general tso chicken. However, I would avoid that and get authentic Szechuan food. This is hands-down, the best Chinese food I've ever had. I started with a Caesar salad, which was unusual with added tomatoes and other vegetables you don't typically see. While it was fine, it lacked flavor. For the main course, all four of us ordered pasta, and again, the same issue--very little taste. No one offered fresh Parmesan, which is something you'd normally expect with a pasta dish. Halfway through my meal, trying to improve the flavor, I asked for some Parmesan. I was genuinely surprised when the server told me it would cost an extra $1. It wasn't about the dollar--it was the principle. Charging extra for something as basic as Parmesan with pasta felt unreasonable. When we raised the concern, the manager confirmed this policy came directly from the owner. My advice: just include it in the price of the dish. Policies like that leave a bad impression and cost you repeat customers. Between the bland food and that moment, the experience turned from disappointing to frustrating. Sadly, this isn't a place we'll be returning to--and it's one we'll be warning others about.
