I usually do drive thru for chick fil A but going in was very pleasant. It was a Saturday evening and we needed to get some dinner before going on another errand going back from a long trip. Since we were on the 210 freeway, this was just off the freeway not far from where we needed to go. We parked closer to goodwill, there were so many signs notifying drivers not to park for PCC and only for chick fil A customers. We walked by the drive thru lanes which were two lanes that merged into one, there was staff there helping take orders. We had to walk closer to the other side to enter the restaurant. I had to use the restrooms and it was key coded but luckily someone had the code before me. The restrooms were very clean, and the seating area were vast and also clean! Friendly staff and they were also very welcoming, saying "welcome" right when we entered the door! We ordered a few meals and a kids meal, we got our food fairly quick and only had to wait a few minutes. We didn't get to eat right away so we drove to our other destination in less than 10 mins to eat while I charged my car. The food was still warm and the fries still crispy! The sandwiches were still warm and crispy as well, so we had a great in car dinner. The drinks had a lot more ice than I liked but luckily it was enough for us. * Our food had MOLD on it. Over the years, it has become a theme that Chick-fil-A no longer cares about presentation, cleanliness, kindness, and professionalism. I am an avid traveler and have visited multiple locations in different states, and I have found that this has become normal within the Chick-fil-A framework. I have visited this specific location, 1700 East Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, religiously and have found honest disappointment on every occasion. I'd typically come here because it was the most convenient for me and my family, but the time spent visiting this location was quickly lost times 300 for every negative impact procreate and projected by the Chick-fil-A employees. Just a recap, the majority of the Chick-fil-A employees l've encountered, except perhaps two people (whom I did not personally meet), were rude, disingenuous in their manner, and unprofessional in their speech. It was appalling. Most visits ended with charged cards, missing food, hair in food, inaccurate condiment amounts (heavy complaining if you ordered any condiments at all, as if it were a crime), and a filthy interior dining area. The bathrooms were frequently unclean and typically covered in urine and feces. The food quality and temperature were always a hit or miss. It was either hot but not fresh or cold, old, and stale tasting. It was on a few occasions when the food was hot and fresh. What was interesting is that the operating manager, who never seemed to be present, always offered treats and rewards for the inconvenience as well as for being a long-standing Chick-fil-A member, but it was ultimately all in vain because what a loyal customer wants is a good and consistent experience with fresh, hot, quality food, positive and professional customer service, and genuine sanitation, as this is an establishment where people eat. No one nor their family should ever have to feel cagey for asking for or ordering their meal... Why else are you in business? To take people's money and treat them with the ugliest sense of entitlement. It is giving chattel slavery. The employees need to be cleared out of this place, and a massive project on how Chick-fil-A intends to do and be better in honest and fair business practice commenement; otherwise, please take the narcissistic war tactics and close the franchise entirely if this is how you are going to operate. Lastly, the only two things consistent here were the shoddy disservice and the good drinks! read more

Okay, can we talk about dining inside Chick-fil-A for a second? Because somehow this was one of the first times we've actually sat down and eaten inside, and woww. I already thought Chick-fil-A had great customer service through the drive-thru, but our cashier, Serena, was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, patient, and sweet with my kids. The way she interacted with them genuinely stood out and made our visit feel special. Then we sat down, and I was surprised to see employees regularly coming around to check if anyone needed refills, extra sauces, or anything else. They were even walking around offering samples! It honestly felt like customer service from another era. I wish more restaurants and businesses treated people this way. Moral of the story: don't sleep on dining in at Chick-fil-A. This is the second day in a row they messed up my order yesterday I ordered an egg white chicken biscuit and when I got to work, it was a regular egg not the egg white I paid extra so I told myself just check next time. Today I go in and I order a muffin chicken egg white cause I didn't like the biscuit but they gave me a biscuit instead and I told myself to check the bag but I was like no they couldn't mess it up a second time, but they did third times a charm tomorrow we will see. 1/21/26 It's been a great while since Ive eaten Chick-fil-A & I wonder why I stay away. Service is almost always kind & courteous, food is great & prices are on par with other fast food joints. The stores are clean & well-maintained, what's not to like? This branch is no different. It is pretty spacious. I've never visited this location but it looks brand new. The seating is modern & tasteful. Parking is free & ample for Pasadena. The drive thru wasn't too busy & neither was the dining room at around 8 pm on a Wednesday. When I ordered, the young man who took my order looked like he was under training & appeared a little green. He was pleasant & respectful. My order was ready in no time at all. Hubby & I were going to have takeout but decided to dine in. It was pleasant & our chicken sandwiches & waffle fries were delicious. This is our absolute favorite Chick-fil-A, mostly because of Arnie (Director of Hospitality)--he elevates a chain restaurant to make it feel like a local family-owned hang out. He's the first Chick-fil-A employee who has convinced me completely that it is "his pleasure" to serve us. And his spirit is infectious, so the whole restaurant is a pleasure to visit. Went on a Saturday around midday. I've been to plenty of chick fil a's and I've never had this experience before. There were probably 30 cars in line. The line would absolutely not budge. It was the slowest chick fil a I've ever been to. I started playing my toddler's video on Bluetooth to keep her occupied and it went on for 23 minutes from getting in line to receiving my food. I asked to add Mac to my order after I had paid to the same lady who took my order and they couldn't find my order so I ordered it when I got to the window. The food itself was subpar. The fries were so beyond salted it was inedible. They were also obviously fried in old oil and tasted awful. And they only gave us 1 straw for 2 drinks. The good: All of the employees were very cordial and greeted every guest that came in. Two employees came to check on every table at various times which I appreciated. I was interested in stopping by and seeing what this location at the intersection of Colorado and Bonnie Avenue had to offer. It is a nice area to walk. The patio side is a great place to eat, study, and read. The food was okay. I'm not sure what I was expecting. The waffle fries had no flavor. The nuggets were crisp and tasty but expensive. I also tried a kale salad with the Chick-fil-A dressing and it was all right. I did have a large cup of coffee which was very good. Service was good but almost mechanical. I know it's fast food but I do like people to be themselves and show personality. Chick-fil-A has its identity and they are known to be very consistent across many locations. When I go back to this location I will order the original chicken sandwich with the waffle fries. Because this establishment is across from the college, this location is very popular. I went here yesterday as a result of waiting for somebody that I gave a ride to another restaurant, who met another friend. I am glad they have a parking lot here. Parking in Pasadena usually is not good or fun. I was here early enough to still get a space right before it got busy. On arrival to the inside, a lady name Aadobi (hopefully I got that right) was holding the door open and getting people. She was really sweet. The restaurant was clean inside and outside. I loved that it was Nov 18th and they were playing Christmas music already! The person at the cashier that took my order, she was really sweet and helpful as well. I ended up ordering a 12 piece nugget, medium waffle fries, and a medium drink meal. My dipping sauce choices were 2 CFA & 2 bbq. My drink of choice for the meal was 1/2 Dr Pepper, 1/2 Cherry Coke. I also got a chocolate fudge brownie for dessert. Everything at this Chick Fil A was super tasty. I was here waiting for a while for my rider to call me to be picked up. So I ended up getting a full Dr Pepper refill. Aadobi was the one who got me my first refill. I finally got the call and has finished this drink too, so I got 1 more refill to go, which was the Hawaiian fruit punch. This was a great visit. They have a drive thru system where the worker comes out the door to give you the order and I prefer that so I dont have to bother getting close to the window. I ordered the waffle fries, the chicken deluxe sandwich, and the cookies and cream shake. Everything was so good! I know Chik Fil A is more of the pricy fast food spots but its worth the price because the food genuinely does taste better especially the quality of the chicken. Fries were crispy and not too salty, the sandwich came with lettuce pickles and tomatos, and the shake actually surprised me. It was sweey and creamy, one of the better tasting ones. I wanted to try their new chicken sandwich: the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken sandwich. It's only for a limited time. Your choice of regular, spicy or grilled chicken filet, topped with pimento cheese, pickled jalapeno peppers and a drizzle of honey. I enjoyed it. I hope they put it on their regular menu! No matter what location you go to. You always hear "my pleasure" and very well-mannered and cheerful staff. This location was no different. The team was very helpful and hardworking. It was my first time eating Chick-Fil-A in 3 years as we've been living abroad. It was certainly worth the wait. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The chicken sandwiches were on point The chicken tenders and nuggets were delicious I got one of each sauce in order to try each one. Our favorites were the Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Sauce (My wife's favorite), Polynesian Sauce (My favorite) and the Chick-fil-A Sauce. I really like how the kid's meal comes with milk and a book My only complaint is there was too much greasy on the packages of the fries and sandwiches. I thought it was because the food was too greasy, but upon a second glance. It appears the grease stains are greasy fingerprints. I'm finally putting my criminology major to good use This is not a big deal for me, but presentation wise. It doesn't look good getting a box of food looking all greasy. Overall pretty okay. Customer service errors on some of the few times I've gone tho. First time I ordered a brownie and after leaving the area realized it was missing from my bag when I reached for it at home. Had to drive all the way back for it, waited in a long line only for them to give me it with no apology or anything. On another occasion, I ordered a sandwich and what I assumed was small fries and a side of tap water. I was charged for the whole meal (didn't know tap water counted as a soda) plus was charged for "extra small fries" on top of the regular sized fries I didn't order. This wasn't relayed when they repeated my order but the number sounded off and I didn't check the receipt in time (by then I was home)... I guess customers need to double check receipt and bag regardless of what's repeated verbally read more

Update: I responded to their PM but unfortunately, it went no where since they didn't respond further. ------ This location doesn't honor and rude to their customer. We were in the line for drive-thru and our line was 4 cars late than the other line. Once we got the the person who took our order, her name was Ms. Azlan, we aksed nicely why our line is so slow. She mentioned that it was due to the trainee. And we asked nicely, what was the issue that the trainee took longer time. And Ms. Alan said that we are rude to ask that and refused to take our order. I would suggest, instead of being defensive and refuse to take our order, that best way to answer this is to apologize if any inconvenience happen and that they appreciate our patience. Ms. Azlan said she is the training director. We spoke with the manager and she confirmed that they have the policy to refuse service when they get upset with customer. The manager did apologize. My suggestion, just be mindful of the employee feeling if you want to be served here because their feeling is more important than their customer. read more
