I was looking forward to my first time trying Waba Grill and I was really disappointed. The food took a long to come out, and when I did get it, the rice was cold and hard and the broccoli was overcooked to the point it was yellow. The chicken was good. The staff was pleasant but after coming here twice they're constantly out of their main items and it gets quite frustrating. Food quality is fine but considering they already carry only several items (chicken,beef, tofu).. to not have an item is annoying. I won't be returning to this location. read more

I hardly leave a negative review, but unfortunately I had no choice but to leave one today. I walked in, empty, around 1:15pm. I asked for a rib eye steak bowl and broccoli. No broccoli available to serve, OK. Before paying I noticed my order said "chicken with veggies, I asked for it get corrected with the right protein and brown rice, it didn't. I tell my clerk, could you please swap the white rice with brown rice and add steak instead of chicken. He said OK. This guy literally grabbed the steak with his hands and dropped it onto a new bowl. I asked for a refund and two guys got really upset. Well, here is what I would recommend. If the business is slow, take the time to clean the grill and its surrounding, wear gloves when handling food, listen to your customers carefully, greet them as they come into an empty location, have clean tables. Customer service needs revamping asap. Today's visit was unacceptable and unfortunate. Lastly, tell your employees to not get upset when customers ask for refunds, we aren't dogs to get fed in such way. read more

I absolutely love this waba grill location. The team that works there is always welcoming and they seem like they really love their job. I came in for my usual chicken brown and one of the workers (Devin) recommended I upgrade to the plate so I could try out the dumpling. I absolutely loved them. The food preparer was talking and laughing with his co-worker while digging for the big rice cooker that was in front of him, waist level. I could literally see the spit spraying on the rice. Was open today. Walked in and there was no menu. Employee said to check the website for a menu. So no menu board and no printed menus. Behind the employee, the kitchen looked dilapidated, and dirty. Looked like the kitchen needed to be refurbished. Maybe put up a partition? Employees were young and seemed like they didn't really belong or care. Hard to explain the vibe. It just wasn't positive. This is a long overdue review ... I love these guys. Every time I walk in, everyone is SO nice! I work across the street and I always order through the app, so I don't interact with the employees much, but I think the manager, always remembers my name and is so super sweet! The other guys are so friendly and super energetic as well. With all the options near by I choose to go here because of the staff. I've got a new found love for their boom boom tacos. Waba grill is pretty close to my place, within walking distance. It is off a very busy street near the 110 freeway, but the parking lot is spacious generally enough to where finding a spot is usually not a problem. The concept is very interesting, of a fast food restaurant that serves Asian rice bowls. Chicken breast costs extra and the family meal portions tend to be on the smaller end, but for the most part I am a fan! read more

We just ate dinner here and wow the service and food we're nothing short of amazing! I am so impressed with their Excellence! The staff was extremely Attentive and loved his attitude and energy! Not sure if he is the owner or not but if he is not he conducted himself as if he was. We will be return customers! Highly recommend if you want a delicious fresh healthy well balance and large portion meal! So filling but left me satisfied but stuffed and had left overs! Great bang for your buck!
