NEW Green Goddess Avo (I think, can't remember)! Delicious and fulfilling!

I had an out-of-state friend in town and we were driving around Pasadena trying to find local Van Halen historic spots when we suddenly got hungry. Though we had been trying lots of local spots along the way, my friend had a craving for something that she recognized so we found this Panera and it hit the spot! She ordered at the counter while I ordered on the iPads! I got the Balsamic Greens with Grains salad and a Diet Pepsi. It was a great blend of fresh flavors and hearty grains to sit in my stomach a while. I always love their baguette on the side because of the chew and because I could use it to soak up the remaining dressing at the bottom of my bowl. The restaurant was larger than any Panera I'd been in before I think. Comfortable, clean and quick so we could hit the road and keep going! Love earning the rewards on my app too!

This panera bread location ive always had a positive experience with both with the workers and my order accommodation. I do think that you should generally order online for this location. I ordered two soups, a sandwich and a drink for pick up dine in. Everything came out hot and all the food tasted fine. The inside is really nice with plenty of seats and a lot of them have charging ports for studying. The wifi is fairly slow because theres always a lot of people but works fine. Great for studying and a nice warm meal.

Stopped by to try there new item, the Salad Stopper. Instead of eating a salad, since it is just a bunch of veggies, you don't feel quite full. Because this item is served with the salad inside an Italian roll, it eats more like a meal. It also comes with a bag of chips, so it was a very filling meal. If you eat here, I recommend that you join the Sip Club. For one fee ($3.99 - $11.99) depending on their current promotions, it's all you can drink for one month. And once you redeem a drink, it will refresh and offer another drink an hour later. So, it's possible for a cold and a hot drink all in one visit. And sometimes you get a free month(s). And most of their menu items are delicious. Their workers are extremely efficient and very nice to all their customers!

I'm back again! I love their sourdough and the baguette.... The chicken and wild rice soup is good too. The tables are not cleaned... as usual. I found one table that didn't look too bad. I used some napkins and water to wipe, then used my sanitizing tissue to clean our table. I'm ready for food. Today we ordered double Panera Duets... One order of 1/2 tuna salad sandwich with creamy tomato soup which is one of our lite meal item. We also ordered the 1/2 turkey & cheddar sandwich with chicken wild rice soup because of the soup. We love the lite meal options they offer through the Panera Duets pairings. Too bad they don't allow substitutions... Today, they ran out of their baguette... They have us bags of potato chips in lieu which was nice of them, but I love dipping the baguette into the soup. I will be back for the delicious breads... I would be back so much more often if the tables were cleaned better... Oh, well.

I hadn't been to Panera in ages, but recently went twice. I got tomato soup and Mac and cheese during one visit, and then tomato soup in a bread bowl on the second visit. The tomato soup is really good! I like the croutons on the top. Service is quick. I don't like ordering from the ordering devices. So, I really enjoy when someone is at the register. This location always has customers, but it is never busy/crowded.

Cold Sandwich Grilled Chicken and Avo BLT It didn't make me disappointed. It was really a delicious cold sandwich. All of the ingredients were good and the lettuces and tomatoes were fresh. More avocado would be perfect

Upon revisiting, several new difficulties popped up, including inadequacies in keeping coffee and creamer/additions stocked, tea, and other available essentials. Bagels that were toasted were unfortunately toasted to an insufficient level, and orders were made incorrectly. Nonetheless, this continues to be a convenient location for me, and service, although with the above disclaimers, were otherwise friendly and quick.

The restaurant offered indoor and patio dining options. However. It was seat yourself so we had to find our own table. I ordered the Vegan Portabella Panini, which featured grilled portabella mushrooms, roasted peppers, wild arugula, grilled artichokes, and a pesto-almond cheese spread. The sandwich had the perfect panini crunch and was packed with flavor. I especially appreciated the fresh, healthy balance of ingredients and it was satisfying without feeling heavy. The panini was served with a side salad that was equally fresh and tasty, making for a well rounded meal. Overall, a delicious and enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely order it again.

I enjoy the sunrise pizza but my favorite drink by far is the Blended Green Tea Boba. I came recently on a Sunday around 4pm and ordered a blended green tea boba to go. My order took 15 minutes to get. What surprised me the most is that the drink is now a whopping $10.50 and it used to be $8.75 a year ago. Not only has the price increased by 20% but the drink has also gotten smaller. The flavor is still consistent from what it used to be but $10.50 for this drink is insane. I'd rather just get a real matcha drink from a legit coffee/matcha spot.

I've been wanting to try Tendon Tempura Carlos Jr. for a while since their original location is in Torrance. I'm really glad they opened a Pasadena location because we're lucky to have one here in the 626 now. Parking was easy since there are spots right in front of the restaurant, but they are metered and cost $2 per hour. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit out on the patio, which was cool and comfortable. To start, we ordered the fried tempura mozzarella sticks ($5.99), onion kakiage ($2.99), and edamame corn kakiage ($5.99). Everything was delicious, but the mozzarella sticks were the clear favorite. They were fried perfectly with an amazing cheese pull and plenty of cheesy flavor. We decided to share all of our entrees family style. For my son, we ordered the plain hot udon, which was simple and perfect for him. For the rest of us, we ordered the Premium Tempura Bowl ($32.97) and added ikura ($4.98), the cold soba with dipping sauce and tempura ($19.99), and Carlos's Jewel Box ($31.99), which came with chopped salmon, toro, yellowtail, and popcorn shrimp over rice. We also added extra toro for $8. On top of that, we ordered a side of five slices of chu-toro for $15.49, which honestly felt like a great deal. The Premium Tempura Bowl was definitely the star of the meal. Every piece of tempura was light, crispy, and fried perfectly without feeling greasy. The fried tempura egg was absolutely chef's kiss, especially once the yolk mixed into the rice. The tempura dipping sauce was also excellent and brought everything together. The Carlos's Jewel Box was another standout. The fish tasted fresh, and the rice with their house sauce paired perfectly with everything. The added toro made it even better. The cold soba was well prepared, but it just wasn't our cup of tea. That's more of a personal preference than anything because the quality was still there. The restaurant has a modern look while still feeling like a cozy mom-and-pop shop. I really liked the decor and the welcoming atmosphere. Since we were the only table sitting outside, I can't really comment on the noise level inside, but the patio was peaceful and relaxing. The service was great. The staff brought out a booster seat for my son and even helped secure it to the patio chair. They also brought us all the condiments, including ginger and pickled vegetables, without us having to ask, which I appreciated. Overall, I would definitely come back. The tempura was some of the best I've had in the 626, and the rice bowls were just as impressive. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend ordering one of the tempura bowls. You really can't go wrong. It's great to see a restaurant that started in Torrance expand to Pasadena because it's a welcome addition to the 626 dining scene.

There was also no crunch to it. I remember the Torrance location tempura had a very nice crunch, batter was light and airy, and it stuck to the food. The sauce is the same, as they put it in the rice instead of you dipping it into a sauce. I also got cold soba on the side since they can't substitute the rice for soba. Soba wasn't anything special. The noodles at the Torrance location is better I promise! The miso soup was okay, didn't really enjoy it that much. It's not your typical miso soup. It has mushrooms in it. The mushroom flavor was too strong for me. Service was meh since we sat down first, but they took the order from our neighbors before us. Their food came out first too. Most likely won't come back to this location again. Not sure if they just had an off day when I went, but I had a disappointing experience.

It consisted of lettuce, avocado, corn, black beans, jicama, tomatoes, onion, quinoa, krispies, kale, cilantro, and cotija. The lettuce wasn't too fresh and there were some that were yellow green but not a big deal. It was packed with flavor even without the chipotle vinaigrette (relieved I got it on the side because I wasn't s big fan). The avocado was very fresh and plentiful. I added chicken for extra $4.74 and it was very tender! Overall, I enjoyed the salad but a bit pricey so it was a good one time experience! The Chicken Pesto Caprese ($14.10) was pretty good. It consisted of chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, pesto, and mixed greens. The greens were very fresh and the sandwich was packed with flavor. The chicken was a little dry but not a big deal. There was a lot of red pepper and it was a bit overwhelming so I wished there wasn't so much. Really enjoyed the pesto since it it wasn't too salty and was the cherry on top to the sandwich! I also really liked that the bread was soft and fresh. Got the "Not so Fried" Chicken Sandwich ($13.68) - 1/2 portion and it came with a side (paid extra $1.26) for tomato basil soup. It consisted of chicken, krispies, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, onions, and herb aioli. The bread was very fresh and soft. I'm glad I got this in half portion because I thought this was just ok and nothing special. The tomato basil soup was very oily and salty so wasn't too enjoyable. The Pomegranate Mint Lemonade ($5.10) was sooo sweet. It was refreshing but the mint was a little too overpowering. Definitely recommend adding ice and/or water otherwise it's way too sweet! Overall, the sandwich and salads were a bit pricey but definitely one of the better spots for sandwiches and salads in terms of quality and quantity!

Everything, and I mean everything, was so delicious. One of the best dim sum places I've been to. The pricing of the items ranged from $8-$10 per item we ordered which is expensive but as a treat every once in a while and for the amount of time and effort that goes into making dim sum, it was worth it. I've tried making dim sum at home and it is so hard! Perfect family dim sum experience for us…read more We took out my parents and in-laws for dim sum: my parents' very first time ever. We did wait about an hour, but honestly I didn't mind at all because it gave us a chance to relax, talk, and catch up as a family. Once we were seated, my parents were immediately impressed with the decor: elegant and cultural without feeling overly modern or cold. And can we talk about the tea kettles? They looked like literal pieces of art being poured at the table. Ordering was super easy with the QR code system, so my husband handled the whole spread: shumai dumplings, chicken feet, sesame balls, and more. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The ENTIRE table agreed on one thing: the chili oil condiment deserves to be sold in bottles to take home. It was that good. Smoky, just the right amount of spicy, and addictive. Now for the real test: my in-laws. They've been to *many* dim sum places and are not easily impressed. They declared this place to have the best chicken feet that they've ever had: meat easily sucked off the bone, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned. High praise coming from dim sum veterans. Most importantly, my parents' first dim sum experience couldn't have been better. They loved everything from the ambiance to the food to the overall experience. My husband and I want to come back to explore more of the menu because there's clearly so much more to try

It's a comfortable spot with padded banquettes or chairs at the tables, which feature chrome frames and (very good-looking) faux marble tops; along with white walls and light-colored wood accents, the owners have created a clean, simple, welcoming environment. The mood is jostled even further into a specific vibe of calmness with the carefully curated music being played: bossa nova covers of pop hits from bygone days (The Bee Gees' "More Than A Woman" and the Bee Gees'-written Streisand hit, "A Woman In Love" being examples), but it all works. The menu offers a varied selection of dishes from several Asian cultures, from Chinese Beef Rolls to Japanese noodles and soups to Korean Beef over rice. It's not a huge menu, but there's definitely enough there for everyone to find something interesting to eat. The food is all cooked in view of the customers by a staff of chefs working in a sparkling clean kitchen enclosed by windows, and the staff is uniformly friendly despite juggling a lunchtime crowd at the tables plus quite a lot of to-go orders. I tried 2 really enjoyable and satisfying dishes. Beef Rolls featured thinly sliced brisket rolled inside crispy fried crepes with scallion, cilantro and a touch of Hoisin sauce. The brisket had a mild but distinctive flavor that spoke of careful preparation, while the slightly astringent pop from the onions and herbs was a nice foil for the inherent fattiness of the fried crepes. The Hoisin sauce was very subtly deployed, lending tasty support without overwhelming everything else. I added some of the house chili oil for a little extra spice and peppery depth, but these well-made rolls were terrific all by themselves. It should also be noted that the portion is very generous, especially for the price ($12.80), and more than enough for 2 people (perhaps 4 people, if each has 1/2). My other dish was the Qinghai Clear Cold Noodle, a terrific-looking, and even better-tasting blend of thick, chewy noodles, fresh chopped garlic, veggies, tofu and chili sauce that's got a bit of heat but more so a pleasing depth of Chinese spices. This appetizer is packed with flavor and just happens to be Vegan (as are a number of menu items), so it can be enjoyed by anyone. All in all, this was a fantastic mid-week lunch that pleased the senses without breaking the bank, and I even brought some home for later. Do give this Noodle St. a try -- and if you're not in Pasadena, check their website, because they have 8 locations, with a 9th opening soon in Sherman Oaks.

The quality was solid, and everything came out hot. The chicken wings were great, the garlic green beans and cucumber salad were amazing, and the signature spicy ramen was really good too. It was a bit greasy, almost like birria, but the meat was tender and the broth tasted like it had been cooking for 48 hours deep, rich, and full of flavor. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Korean beef. It was way too sweet and didn't really give Korean BBQ flavor. The meat seemed more steamed than grilled, and not even vinegar or chili oil could save it for me. Other than that, everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for.
