I placed my grilled chicken wrap order and ask for no carrots and cabbage at the drive thru. The chick-fil-a employee takes my order and gives me my total. When I get to the drive thru window another chick-fil-a employee informs me that they will no longer allow any deletions to the grilled chicken wrap sandwich and this will be the last time. What fast food place doesn't allow deletions. I've ordered my sandwich that way at every chick-fil-a I've been to and never had problem. Why is it an issue all of a sudden, just at this one store. This store has horrible service to begin with. They always give out melted shakes and water downed fountain drinks. We've also had problems in the past with the hot foods being served cold. I think it's bad management. I love chick-fil-a but, I hate this store. You've lost me as a customer for good! read more

I had no idea it was the 2nd day in business when I entered the parking lot. The drive thru was nuts, people were cutting me off. Even an old lady in a small SUV coming from the opposite side stole the parking I was aiming for. Just when I was about to give up and leave, I found a parking spot for "Clean Air Vehicles". My Hummer pulled in nicely. God wants you to have this Chicken Sandwich. I told myself. The line was out of the door. We were nicely greeted by their happy employees who were handing out flyer and stuffed chik-fil-a cow to little ones. My 5 years old got hers and said: Mom, its a good day, isn't it? The line moves quickly as you get closer, 3 cashiers are open to take your orders. Food arrived at a timely manner. My chicken sandwich was wrapped inside a foil bag which kept it cool all the way to La Canada. It was so hot and juicy. Seriously, the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Kids got chicken nuggets too. My 5 year old said: Mom, this is just like Chicken Nuggets but tastes more like chicken. I laughed so hard almost dropped my chicken sandwich. read more

Just because it is fast, it doesn't mean you can't have GREAT customer service. This place brings southern hospitality into socal where we can use such fresh service! The place is clean and it is well staffed. The managers as well as the staff come by to make sure you have everything you need to see you need napkins, condiments or refills on your drinks. This places serves you better than the 5 "star" dining restaurants in the area! It's so great I've even noticed a smile on a PCC student's face! The food is consistently done the way you like it. This Chick-Fil-A was a godsend because the area has been severely lacking in waffle fries for years, but this location has actually been pretty disappointing. I don't know if it's a communication/training issue, but every time I or my husband have been (maybe 8 times since opening--the dude LOVES CFA), there has been some kind of hiccup. Some examples: - 2 occasions, I ordered a "basic cobb (no chicken) with no bacon" and got a salad with bacon on it after having a conversation with the cashier to make sure that there is no bacon - the salads are smaller than at other CFAs - they will not give you their salsa (usually served with their breakfast burrito) outside of breakfast times without a fight. They say they are no longer serving breakfast... but it's not like you're cooking the pre-packaged salsa - Also, what's up with the weird entrance/exit configuration for the parking lot? It kindof feels like instead of being accommodating like every other CFA, you can only customize your order--something that other CFAs typically have no problem doing--if you speak directly to a manager. Maybe CFA as a company overall is tightening up its flexiblity regarding customization, which is extremely unfortunate. read more

I went to this location before my class, and had 30 minutes to eat and leave. I order my food and 15 minutes go by if me waiting and still nothing, at the 20 min mark I finally asked where my food was and I get blank stares and a simple "I'll bring your food right now" no apologies. They bring me my food and my fries were soggy and cold, and my chicken tenders had been sitting for a while. One star because I wasn't approached my a manager, they didn't make my food fresh, and I they acted like it was OK. I'll just go to Canes from now on. I've been here a few times already and I'm excited to finally have a Chick Fil A in my hometown. Pasadena seems like a logical location for a Chick Fil A and it's obvious the city is already embracing it. I usually get a spicy chicken sandwich on a multigrain bun deluxe with American cheese. It's a solid fried chicken sandwich that doesn't feel super heavy. The waffle fries are delicious, especially when you have pretty much every sauce you can imagine at your fingertips. My favorite is the Chick Fil A sauce. It's like a sweet smoky barbecue mustard sauce. Oh and the lemonade tastes like sweetest neighborhood kid's lemonade ever with good amounts of pulp. Just tried it for the 1st time and I must say, "not bad at all"!!! The frosty lemonade was yum... It taste like a frosty orange bang but instead of orange, it's lemon and super creamy like if there was ice cream in it. The spicy deluxe chicken sandwich was pretty awesome too... Maybe it's because I haven't had fast food in awhile, but if this is fast food, then I'm in trouble because I'm already thinking of having it AGAIN!!! Oh no, there goes my diet!!! I had the worst experience today at Chick fil a in Pasadena, I have been coming here for years and today I was so disappointed. I was waiting in line to go into chick fil and this boy named SEAN let 7 to 8 cars go before me, he completely ignored the other line that was trying to go into chick fil a he never even gave an explanation he just put his hand out and said STOP. He kept letting cara go in from the other line I got upset and ignored what he was saying AND made my way in he went to go CALL his manager Rebecca and they refused to give me service why because I cut the line when I was here before all those cars he left go before me. I love chick-fil-a, but this was not a good experience. Super super busy, even late at night. People were frantic to get their food in the drive through, and the parking lot was blocked off by cars. The man who took my order was really nice, but then my order can and it was completely wrong. No sauces, wrong type of chicken nuggets, etc. Unfortunately, since it's a chaotic system over there, and they don't distribute food by car order, I just wanted to get out of the line and didn't realize any of this until I got home, 20 minutes away. The quality of the food isn't the problem and it isn't the reason for my 1 star review. The problem is that, after 4 visits, we still have never received all the food that was ordered and paid for. Visit 1 - shorted a waffle fries and a kids meal toy Visit 2- missing kids meal grilled nuggets and toy Visit 3 - missing kids meal fruit cup and toy Visit 4 - missing waffle fries. Now while the solution would be to thoroughly check the bag, it isn't that easy since they seems to love to pack everything into 1 bag. Finally, a Chik Fil A in Pasadena!! This place has only been open a couple of days but I can say, in my experience, they've definitely got their "A" game on. Looked pretty crowded inside but we were doing drive through after a school holiday performance. They have a double ordering line that feeds into one pick up line - moved fairly quickly considering there were about 6 cars ahead of us. Order taker was courteous (like all folks working at this particular chain we've experienced). We ordered two simple number one chicken sandwiches. Comes with just pickles. Also got the deluxe version with lettuce and tomato. Sides were chicken soup and parfait. Even though we had a 10 minute drive home, the food was still really hot and delicious. The only, tiny, negative was that they didn't quite get our sauce request right but that's ok. I'm thrilled we don't have to drive all the way to Azusa for our Chik Fil A fix anymore! read more

This location is my favorite location in LA. The staff is quick to take your order and deliver it to your car. Even when the drive thru lines are long I get my food in record speed. I prefer long lines that go fast as opposed to short lines that go slow. Only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because it seems like the fries are always half empty.
