We ordered the classic "double-double" burger, Kenny's steak bomb sandwich, and the Asian salad. The burger was delicious, nicely grilled, juicy, cheesy, and greeesy (which means it's good!). The steak bomb was great as well. The shaved ribeye, melted provolone, mushrooms, onions, and peppers all came together to make a fantastic sandwich. The beef steak was savory, and the portion was generous. We also loved the Asian salad. It came with cucumber, tomato, red onion, and avocado, along with toasty cashews and a sesame ginger dressing. All the veggies were fresh. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, checking on us a couple of times. The restaurant has lots of wall decorations, such as photos, pictures, and funny signs. One interesting thing: their napkins each have a different "wise" saying. We asked our waitress to give us a few more yo take home for fun :) Overall, we had a great time and will come back to try other items.

The young ladies behind the counter were overwhelmed and looked clueless as they called out names for walk-in orders, yet nobody showed up to picked them up. Meanwhile the rest of us were standing around looking like idiots for nearly an hour waiting for our online order. So serving people inside took precedence and online customers were relegated to some odd combo of a numeric code and guest order code on a display screen. Some had codes and partial names. Nobody in the crowd understood the code/code & name/code. It was a big guessing game. Why didn't someone take charge? I could have gone behind the counter and filled orders faster for online with whatever was left for those who didn't pick up in house orders! And don't get me started on the mounds of chicken just sitting under the lights waiting to be packaged up! The entire scene was like an I Love Lucy episode with the chocolates loading up the packaging ramp and no customers were able to eat

I find that insulting. It was a cold, drizzly evening, so no one was choosing to sit outside, but the seating area , again, is totally inadequate for the crowd size. Even were you to order your meal to-go through the app, you'd be forced to navigate through large groups who apparently think everyone needs to come inside to get a go-order. I honestly do not know if the hassles in the evening are worth returning for dinner, and that is our primarily time to eat out.

The water from the cabbage caused the bottom portions of the meat to be soggy. Due to being breaded, the chicken was not as affected as the pork. Of the items served, I enjoyed the macaroni salad the most. It had plenty of flavor. The Kalua Pork which were not soaked in cabbage juice had an okay taste. Not only did the breading on Chicken Katsu provide flavor, it protected the chicken meat from being soggy. While a fork was served with my food, I had to grab a knife from the dispenser. The Chicken Katsu could have been eaten with a fork alone; the cabbage would have been difficult.

I have literal nightmares about working at this location. $12.50 an hour wasn't enough to support my wife and baby, and after nearly 10 years of working here, I hoped the store owner would understand. I was a night manager and did what I could to be reliable and loyal. When I started looking for growth opportunities, I was let go. To this day, I believe it was for trying to build a better future for my family. No warning, no opportunity to work through things. 3 weeks later I was in the delivery room jobless meeting my baby for the first time. Just needed to share my experience. All of my bosses since I left this location have been amazing. I've been promoted and given raises I didn't ask for more times than I can count. I just wish I had left sooner. read more
