This review was made with a heavy heart. We love Chick-fil-A and normally have a phenomenal experience. However, this location seems to be an anomaly for all CFA. I'll highlight my most recent experience but sadly this was not the first time receiving poor service. I arrived at 9:10-9:15 pm (ordered on the app), get to the drive thru and wait for an employee to acknowledge me. I said hello multiple times through the intercom and my toddler stated "maybe they are sleeping". I finally get someone to acknowledge me and give them the name for the order. I understand it's late but the simple kindness I grew to expect from CFA was absent. We received our order and the food was good. But the server didn't even say the infamous "my pleasure" after thanking them. I promise, if this was a single negative experience at this location, i would not have taken time to do a review. Unfortunately - this is now the expectation when visiting this location but lesson learned. This review is for the Chick Fil A located on Coit Rd, Plano, 75023. A few days ago, my granddaughter and I ordered grilled chicken nuggets via the drive-thru. During the night, both of us became very ill with severe intestinal distress. I rarely do reviews, but feel word needs to go out on possible dangers of eating at this site. This was only the second time I have eaton at a Chick Fill A. The first time, I found the chicken very salty, which may be a way to cover expired or tainted poultry. Never got sick eating at a McDonald's. Standards are slipping. read more

This Chick-fil-A literally sucks, every single time I come to this location, they messed up my order, this time they forgot my fork, how am I supposed to eat mac & cheese without a fork? Then I asked the cashier to reprint my receipt, she told me she couldn't do it, I've worked in food industry for multiple years and can confirm that she could in fact do it, she was just too lazy to ask her manager how. I just arrived home from the CFA location at Coit and Spring creek with 2 cobb salads. As I began to eat mine, I discovered 2 pieces of lettuce that were black with mold or just seriously decomposed. The rest of the lettuce looked wilted and old. Great way to get a salmomella intestinal infection. They don't answer the phone either. Tried for 15 minutes. read more

I'm quite baffled that in the 3 months I've lived on this side of Plano, I never noticed this Chick-fil-a literally 0.3 miles from my home. Can you believe that?! Honestly, I never really ate it except back at college since we had one inside the student union & I used my meal plan faithfully lol. Anyhow, I came here & used the free sandwich QR code you receive through email after you submit a survey & the service was just as quick. I might add when I order fries I now ask for them to make sure the fries are stacked to the top, do NOT short me on my fries & then give me fillers! The chicken sandwich was hot (temp wise) & the piece of chicken was quite large. 2nd visit: Again came to use another coupon. However, this time I came this past Monday & oh my. Obviously they aren't open on Sundays so everyone wants their fix the next day but it was PACKED. I'm assuming schools just drop off kids for lunch here because I counted 3 school buses & saw kids with backpacks walking in. Chick fil A is one of my go to fast food joints, however this particular location is definitely a shining star. they go above and beyond and are so helpful and nice. they want to make sure that you're having a good experience whether you're inside or going through the drive thru. on national cow day this year, they not only had the standard free entrée if you dressed as a cow promotion, but they also had games and activities for the kids. cow mascot. free ice cream. and just a lot of fun! they place was packed and everyone was having a good time. the staff must have been overwhelmed, but didn't show it at all. For the month of November, they've been holding a chance to win a year's worth of Chick fil A every Monday and wednesday - only at this location. my friend was one of the lucky few and won! i'm so jealous. of course, my only gripe with Chick fil A as a whole is that they're closed on Sundays - which of course, is the day that I usually crave it!! you always want what you can't have right? but I admire that the company takes the initiative and treats their employees well. love this place, love this location #fattypatty approved. read more

The quality has gone down a lot in customer service. I'm writing this review after having my third issue of quality over the last few times I've gone. They've either messed up my order or forgotten something. However, they were always kind when I came to get my missing items so I never felt the need to leave a review. Today was not the case. When they forgot half my order I came in with my bag and waited patiently. I was not greeted or smiled at. Actually I was frowned at. When they found out the issue there was no apology just one of the employees going to the where the food was being made and grabbing the order. I'm a chick fil a regular but my most recent visit to the franchise was different in that it was my first time getting the chocolate chip cookie! It's no secret I'm a fan of the regular menu as I've reviewed the nugz and waffle fries many times before. In this review I'm going to describe the cookie. At $1.50 a piece, it's a larger cookie, about 4 inches in diameter with a girthy height, probably a half inch. The first thing I noticed was that oatmeal is a big player in their cookie recipe. It makes for a delightful crunchy texture in every bite. I would not describe this as a soft cookie. The outside is crispy and the amount of chocolate chips are on the sparse to average side. It broke very softly without crumbling excessively. Sitting on the tongue you can really feel and taste the savory butter. Overall a 4.5 star cookie. read more

Never would have thought I'd be sitting here writing anything negative about CFA, but here we are. This is the only rude CFA establishment I've been to, and hopefully the only rude one I will come across in the near future. I ordered a Cobb Salad and substituted out bacon, cheese, and tomatoes for more eggs. Chris, the manager, walked over after the employee signaled for him. He gave a nasty attitude and several eye rolls when I asked to swap out 3 ingredients of my Cobb Salad for eggs. He responded, "other Chick Fil A places might swap it out for free but here we will charge you to swap it out. We let it slide the past two times" as if it's a crime to ask for eggs. He was unaccommodating and snarkily suggested that I go to other CFA establishments to get my "free eggs". Look, I couldn't care less about the extra charge on the eggs - I will pay extra if I have to. This could've been handled much more smoothly, but instead all I got was disrespect and sass for asking for ingredient substitutions. Chris walked off while I was still talking. My fiance and I were driving to work together and saw this Chick Fil A on the way. It was our anniversary that day, so we decided to take a quick detour and have a beautiful breakfast here together. They do put fresh flowers on every table, so the romantic ambiance was already there. Of course, there is a long line for the drive thru, which could be intimidating but they always go by so quickly. We decided to dine in, in which only a few people were inside. We got our usual orders: chicken breakfast burrito with hash browns and orange juice. Our favorite sauces are the Chick Fil A sauce and the Sweet and Spicy Sriracha, in which we were given a few packets. The food was made fresh and was delicious, as Chick Fil A should always be! Service was great as well. Overall, this is a good location to get our breakfast on, especially being in the middle on Plano. THEY'RE OPEN AGAIN!!!!! I had no idea this Chick fil A was back, and boy was I excited when a friend told me. We met her and her son for a play/lunch date and had the place to ourselves. Well until about noon, when both the drive-thru and the inside really picked up. The manager on-duty was extremely friendly and dropped by our table often to check on us. I really haven't been to a bad Chick fil A, but this one is just a notch above the others in friendliness, speed of service, accuracy of order and cleanliness (bathroom specifically). I don't come here often. I don't agree with the policies that CFA supports, but my partner wanted a chicken sandwich so I went to go pick up lunch. Boy was I in for something. Upon arrival a man in a yellow vest who looked like he was haphazardly trying to direct traffic stopped my car as I was trying to get in line, he then gestured at me as if to say "what the f are you doing." I rolled down my window because I couldn't understand what he was trying to tell me and he very rudely explained that I was in the wrong line. Okay fine, so I'll wait. I eventually get motioned into the line and my order is taken by two very nice young boys. I ask them if he treats them as bad as he treats the customers. I then feel someone bang on the back of my car and shout something. I draw the line at people touching my property so I rolled the window down and asked exactly what he was doing. He then approached my vehicle, unmasked and told me that he hit my car because I wasn't "paying attention" and to "GO" Chick fil a.. this is not your best. This man was screaming at me at the top of his lungs and hitting my car. I talked to the manager at the drive through to tell him about the situation, but I highly doubt anything will be done. The drive thru is quick and efficient!! Don't forget to scan your CFA app at every trip to earn points for free food. So the number one thing that is frustrating with Chick Fila is the app. My wife uses them for 50-100 training students every week. She has an abundance of reward points but logging into app never works for multiple people. I get logged in with my device and then she can't log in or vise versa. Now to the point that I go to the Preston and Springcreek Chick Fila and have a bar code my wife gave me thinking it was for the entire meal but it was for the sandwich only. So manager Chris explains to me how she screwed up and only ordered sandwich. Shows me on the app. But with my frustration and the amount of times we can not even use our reward points. I just tell him I'll pay for the drink and fries. Very disappointed that he did not even try to look up her acct. To correct the situation. POS is lacking.
