Having employees stand a few mere inches from your car while shouting across glass into an enclosed vehicle is NOT safe. Then, if you don't want to talk to them, they keep following your car. It's fast food. What do you expect, right?? Well I expect my food when I order. My husband went through the drive thru on 3/14 and ordered a couple of meals. He was in a hurry and didn't take everything out of the bag to make sure all of the food was given out. He gets home and my wrap is missing. Not able to return immediately to pick up my lunch, I call. I wanted to let someone know we didn't all of our food because I could come back later to get it. I call, no answer. Try again an hour later. No answer. I'm sure they're busy. Tried again later and was told I had to come back that day to get my money back or get a replacement. Gas in California is expensive. I'm not interested in rushing back the 5 miles to get the sandwich I should have received several hours earlier. So I call corporate. They say a refund can be issued. (Great) but I'll have to file a claim and will hear back. A week goes by, I see the receipt on my desk and call again. Am assured they will contact me. It's April 5th and I've still yet to hear anything. It's fast food. I don't expect much. I do, however, expect to only pay for things I get. read more

Being held hostage in a slow drive through has me needing Jesus more than when I started my lunch break. LORD! Please help that hand that salts those fries. They are so overly salted, I dont even recognize the waffle fries that uplift my heart. Lord, it appears a few of your sheep have gone missing from the flock. I love Chick-fil-A. My niece even works for a chick-fil-A. This is not my favorite location though. I was hoping that it would be since it's near my house. And I was so excited for it to open.. Today, is national nurses day and while every place is giving a free sandwich to recognize nurses - this one is not. I drove here after a long day of working and thinking about an appreciation sandwich all day. Man, I was disappointed. They didn't give a free sandwich. I landed in their drive through yesterday morning & to my mistake I forgot that there wasn't much I could order (on their breakfast menu) while I am practicing a no-carb diet. From the gal taking my order, to the gal at the window, to the gal that brought my food out to my car... these folks were generous enough to make a small modification to an item so that I could stay true to my no-carb commitment. I cannot believe they hired someone so unfriendly and unprofessional at this location, my goodness. And I think she might be the manager, but I'm not sure. She has long hair, on the young side (I think), and possibly African American. Please know I could care less about a person's race or gender. This is just so I can somehow let the owners know who this is. I came here on January 4th, 2023, in the morning, and had to come across her unprofessional and rude behavior. Not only did she give me the look of death for absolute no reason, just because I asked for a bag, but I saw her complaining or gossiping with an employee right there in the open to be seen. I've been coming to this location and the one in Carmel Mountain, and also the one in Del Sur, for many years. Usually they hire VERY courteous, professional but fun, people. And very helpful too! To see someone behave like this in this establishment is very concerning. My food wasn't ready yet, no worries so I went back to my car with my dog. 5 mins later I go back and say my name for mobile pick up, they said they gave it to another person and so sorry they will deliver it out to my car. Today was my first visit to this location. The restaurant is fairly new looking and very clean! I visited on a Friday around 11:10 am; the inside was not too busy although the drive-thru was backed up. I placed my order and waited about 10 min. I had the #2 spicy chicken sandwich which was delicious. Of course I had an order of the yummy waffle fries dipping each one into the tantalizing Chick-Fillet sauce...mmmm. I just can't get enough of the fries. I will note my waffle fries were on the light side; the container they came in was filled about half way; I've noticed this at the Santee location as well. Well, 4 stars today for wonderful customer service and delicious food; Holding back on the fifth started a long wait time to get food and the lack of fries for the price. read more

I placed a mobile order for a chicken biscuit for breakfast today. When I arrived, the place was empty. Employees were everywhere. I headed straight for the pick up sign and was never acknowledged. It was irritating especially when several employees looked right at me. I don't think it was to be rude, I think they just don't know any better. They seemed like highschool students. Went to the newer Poway location across the street from Poway AMC Theater a bit before 4:00pm on a Friday. One cashier, 6-7 people in line. 2 individuals bringing orders to the tables, one with stringy hair that should have used a hair net. There was a dedicated worker assigned to keeping the restaurant clean, applying spray cleaner to table tops which is appreciated. That many people having to wait to place an order is not efficient. I hope management hands out hair nets and speaks to staff about grooming and assigns additional cashiers. read more

I ordered from this location from doordash and oh my God... it was the worst Chick-fil-A I've had in my life! The fillets were dry and tasteless and the nuggets were stringy and bland. I understand there's a 15-20 minute time window and there's going to be some reduction in quality but this was way worse than that. The chicken was obviously sitting for too long in the kanbans before it was served and I paid $30 for this food that could get me sick. What a waste of money. The only thing good about this visit was the sauce which made the experience somewhat bearable. Also, my sister just informed me she got food poisoning from this place a week ago... Unacceptable! I understand if you slip in quality every once in awhile, but this Cfas quality has just been gradually going downhill. If I'm paying upwards of $25 for quality food I'm just going to take my business elsewhere because this Chick-fil-A has no standards in quality. Hopefully I don't get sick from this, and if a representative from Chick-fil-A is reading this, you need to get your act together! read more
