Tonight, around 9:25 PM, my wife and my daughter went to this Chick-fil-A's drive thru because the one near us at Carmel Mountain already closed. They ordered a grilled-chicken wrap meal, fries and another drink, pretty simple right? but when they gave the order they forgot the main item which was the wrap. By the time they got home around 9:40-ish, my daughter realized her food (wrap) is missing and she is really hungry coming from her dance class. So my wife asked me to go with her before they close at 10 PM to get the missing item, and by the way I was already in my pj's. At the drive thru we explained and they said that the wrap was indeed left behind. They automatically gave an *extra* wrap which I was not expecting and so I asked for the manager and the attendant gave another fries and again I did not ask for. No one is going to eat the extra item (late at night) as this original wrap was only for my daughter. I asked for the manager but refused to come to the window and told her worker that the company policy is to give out fries for the troubles. All I wanted is to get a meal credit for the next visit when someone is actually going to eat the meal. This is frustrating as a customer when the wrong is clearly them and would not even apologize for the inconvenience and as you know time is money and the gas cost to get back there. The drive thru attendant stated that the manager's name is Valerie but the receipt cashier says Valerie as well. So, it sounds like she did not want to give her real name. Please DO NOT GO to this Chick-fil-A, I would go to the Carmel Mountain one where at they fix their mistakes. I hope this helps. read more

Togo order Door Dash last night... missing items, sucks but no big deal since the app easily does a refund for missing items. Couple of items were cold, no biggie we have a microwave. BUT... my grilled chicken nuggets? Disgusting. I had never ordered them before and through the lid for some reason my brain thought "did they add black beans?" Even though I know that was not a menu item. They were dripping with grease- so much for making a healthy choice and they were burnt. This place is the absolute pits! I come here for kids and always the order is wrong. I top, recently I drove all the way back from Tierrasanta because of an incorrect order. I tried calling and no one answered. This is the worst Chick-fil-A location. The only reason why I still come here is because my son likes to have Chick-fil-A after his swim practice that is down the street. If he wasn't starving I'd make him wait to go to the one in Escondido. They've messed up my order multiple times. It's like they keep hiring new people who don't know what they're doing. I always do mobile orders because I can just pull up to the drive thru and say I'm here. Well they somehow charged my card an hour before I even arrived. So one of the drive thru people accidentally picked my name. When I arrived there the employee was arguing with me about how I didn't make an order like I was incompetent and unsure of what I'm talking about. I was literally showing him my app. Address of the location, my food and it literally says go to the window. Instead of calling to the front like he should have been trained to do he continued to tell me how he doesn't have the order on his screen. He finally called to the front and they knew exactly who I was because they messed up. All of that though and they still messed up my food. I got the cob salad but I subbed the corn for the black beans and corn instead. Well it's not a Cobb it's the Santa Fe. Which isn't a big deal but they could have easily read the ticket properly. I give the experience a 3, due to either not unlocking their chairs for people to sit (as the sign says - see picture), or update their signage (take it down, or "sorry, currently CA COVID Reg states no available seating"). The roads were closed for the annual parade, yet you wouldn't know by looking at all of the cars in the lot and the amount of people inside. Today, I put Chick-fil-A's customer service to the test. I got some scraps on my hand after hiking nearby and a Chick-fil-A employee got me some disinfect wipe, antibiotic cream, and a bandaid. They were very friendly about it. Customer service is 5/5 Oh and the food was good too. As usual. I got the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich and ate it with the chick-fil-A sauce. I chose to dine in and was informed at the counter that my order would take 6+ minutes to prepare. No problem, they have plenty of cars going through the drive-thru at 10am on a Thursday. While I was waiting two customers came inside the store to ask why making their food was taking so long, apparently they had been parked after getting to the pick-up window. Something isn't right about this location's food. 90% of the time, the nuggets are gross. They will have a thick coating of dark caramelized breading and look like they've been cooked in old oil, or handled incorrectly. The fries also seem to be cooked in old oil or something most of the time. This shouldn't even be possible because all Chick-fil-a's across the country should be the exact same. I find myself having to drive to the Carmel Mtn Rd location when the Poway location is 1 minute from me. I love Chick-fil-a. I'm from the South, so sweet tea is my thing. But I find myself disgusted by this location's nuggets and fries to the point I end up having to throw half of them away after biting into them. Why would a Chick-fil-a nugget be dark and oily on the inside? Improper handling, or very old oil. Carmel Mtn's location is run like a well oiled machine, their food is perfect, every single time. While this location is handing out melted cookies in the bag with hot foods, causing them to appear raw. Something has to change. People who know Chick-fil-a food know this location is doing something majorly wrong.
