Yes, Chik Fila lives up to the hype. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and some waffle fries last week and while it was a bit of a wait, but I don't mind waiting if my food is being cooked fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp. These guys are so busy, I don't think food is able to sit anywhere in that kitchen for very long. The reason they are so busy is because of the quality of their food and outstanding customer service. Other fast food places should be taking notes. Just sucks they close on Sundays. read more

I LOVE CHIK FIL A FOOD. I love their seasonal food items, and especially their sauce. Unfortunately, I am very upset that my curbside pick up order was so awful. They missed a couple items from my order (salad and soup), and when I went in to pick it up, they again forgot items that go along with the order (crackers, toppings, sauce). I use to enjoy going occasionally to both the Reno and Sparks Locations. I'd go for the Killer Mac and Cheese and their Waffle Fries. I did try their signature Fried Chicken Sandwich and wasn't impressed as KFC Rules there, but the Mac and Cheese and the Waffle Fries WERE the Best. I said Were, as Biden's Inflation infected these great products Too. In the past your Mac and Cheese came topped with a quarter if an Inch of great and Gooey Orange Cheddar and with a great portion. Recently and after 3 trips to CFA I found the following. The Cheese is nearly devoid in the Casserole and a smaller more expensive Portion. In fairness to proper advertising, they should just call it MAC and tout it as if it's VEGEN as there is little Cheese and it taste like it! As, for the Waffle Fries, I don't know what they did to ruin them, but they did and they taste Blah and their new prices and smaller portions don't help too. I admire and respect their Christian Principles, but some how not reflecting the same to their loyal customers. My infrequent Visits will be even less frequent as the Colonel is Closer by at least 10 miles and their Chicken and Killer Gravy can't be beat! read more

Got a wrap and a kale crunch salad. The salad had no crunch, but I thought "maybe it's supposed to be wilted like this" and ate it along with the wrap that was dry and stale and took them a long time to make. I just got the original chicken sandwich and since the car in front of me had ordered significantly more and my order was ready they even came out and brought me my food while I waited in the drive through line! When you first walk in, there is a foul smell that is impossible to ignore. There when ordering I glanced up at the counter and it was so dirty. UPDATE: Went back to try to give them another chance. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chicken. The burrito was literally the size of my index finger and there where maybe 2 small pieces of chicken in the burrito. I wish their food was as great as their service. There is something about this location where I always have issues with my order. I know what you're probably thinking... "how can you rate chick-fil-a anything below 5 stars?!" I used to be a regular at this location. The service is always wonderful! I used stop by for breakfast before class since it's so close to my nursing school (Carrington). That changed a month ago when I found a black curly hair in my breakfast sandwich. I was already disappointed with the chicken being over cooked (this was the third time in a row I received my breakfast sandwich literally fried and hard). I decided to take it apart and just eat the biscuit.... that's when I saw the hair. I literally can't stomach hairs in my food. Taking microbiology, you know what dirty germs your hair is capable of holding and that did it for me. The over cooked chicken was just the start, the hair finished it. Another name brand fast food restaurant has come to Reno/Sparks. I have been to this restaurant in Florida. When we arrived at the drive thru there was still quite a line. However, the restaurant had it all under control. They had someone taking orders like they do at another local drive thru in town. The person in the long line was taking orders on the outside. Once our order was taken we drove up to the window. Once again there was an employee on the outside of the window who we could talk to and they informed the workers on the other side of the window whether or not they had all of our order. The employee on the outside of the building was training the other employees and was from out of town. He was kind and knowledgeable about Chik-fil-A. I wish I knew his name because he was kind, quick and professional. The Chik-fil-A has been super busy as it was new to Reno. The building they are in is the old Marie Calender's. There is a nice size parking lot. The Chik-Fil-A has tasty food for a fast food restaurant. We all got the deluxe chicken with Chik-Fil-A sauce and fries. I must say this restaurant does know how to make sweet tea. We all got sweet tea. The food was hot, tasty, and quick. What more do you want from a fast food restaurant. Plus it was still quick for the enormous drive thru line that was there when we went. read more

This is my 2nd time, 1st time was in Sacramento. It feels like my first though. I ordered the same thing but it taste better this time - the spicy deluxe. The chicken was moisted, and looked and tasted freshly cooked. The lettuce was fresh too. It was very good. The fries were not too oily. The nuggets were bite size balls. They were ok. I liked the spicy deluxe more. I didn't know about the different condiments the first time, so this visit was all about condiments! I'm a dunker, not a dipper! They let me try all the condiments. They were all good but I liked ranch, zesty, and original. The ranch was herby. The zesty reminds me of mixing ranch in KFC hot sauce. The original taste like a mild creamy honey mustard. The others were good but I'm not a fan of sweet sauces when eating this type of food. One of the sauces reminded of eggrolls dipping sauce. Everyone working there was very friendly too! read more

This was my first Chick-fil-A experience and I have to say that I will be back! I ordered a chicken sandwich with those amazing waffle fries and a lemonade. For my son was the nuggets kids meal. My sandwich was juicy and perfectly crisp. Lemonade was amazing, idk if I had ever had such great lemonade from a fast food chain ! Mind blown. What I loved about the kids meal was that instead of a toy the kids are given a book! How fantastic?! I'd much rather have my child getting a small book than a little toy. We went back in after lunch to order a fruit cup for my little guy and the cashier gave my son a free ice cream cone! He was soo happy and excited! The fruit was super fresh and tasty too. It's been a long time coming but Reno, and perhaps the entire state of NV has their first Chick-Fil-A I remember first discovering this chain 25 years ago in a mall in Port Richey, FL and it is still my favorite fast food chain. The Reno location has a double drive through and as it's a brand new building has that fresh and new feel that all Chick-Fil-A franchises seem to have. Since it was opening day service was good, albeit a bit slow. I had always wanted to have breakfast at a Chick-Fil-A but never seemed to make it to one of the ali locations before 10 am. Solved that dilemma today with the chicken mini biscuits. They were good, but my mainstay will always be the griled chicken club or an original fried chicken sandwich. read more

The service was very trash. Daniella was helping us in the drive through and she acted irritated when I asked to see a menu because we were no where near the menu for me to see. And she repeated my order back to me in a mocking tone. Then we get through the line and our food, and my boyfriend was the only one to get his food and she didn't even put my food on the ticket (even after I saw her tap her screen). I understand customer service jobs suck a lot, but I know that pain, and I'm always nice and easy to deal with, she had unneeded attitude, and some kind of vendetta after I was nice to her back, even with the attitude, to only put my boyfriends food on the order and not mine. read more

PNever in my life did I think I'd be eating at another fast food joint other than In N Out. My friend kept on raving about Chik fil A and now I understand why. My favorite sandwich is the #2 spicy deluxe sandwich with Chick fil A sauce. It's so spicy, but in a good way. Eating the juicy spicy chicken patty along with the buns, cheese, tomato, lettuce and sauce is just the best. Everything is incredibly well balanced. I mistakenly ordered the regular spicy chicken sandwich without cheese, lettuce and tomato one day and it wasn't nearly as good. I was surprised at how fresh the chicken was. I could see the moisture after taking a bite out of it, just as when I cook chicken at home fresh from the market. Chick fil A must have the healthiest, tastiest and smartest kid's meals on the planet. The nuggets are fresh and delicious just like their sandwiches. For sides they have great options- applesauce or a fresh fruit cup. Their fruit cup was legit. It had mandarin oranges, blueberries, strawberries and apples and everything was so fresh. I also love their drink options-milk or organic juice. To top things off, they include a fun educational toy such as I spy booklets or pop out assemble yourself animals. Doesn't get any better than that. Finally a fast food place this mom approves of. Did I mention that they have the best milk shakes ever? I never order milk shakes but they turned me around all right. Seems like they use real ice cream and fresh milk. Their Oreo and vanilla milk shakes are so delicious and refreshing. They use fresh crunchy cookies and actual vanilla flavor. The thickness and cool mouth feel is just right too. They top them off with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Try all of their sauces!!!! Sooooooo good. The combinations are endless. I like the Chick fil A sauce the most but also like combining the ranch with the zesty buffalo. I've been here more times than I can count because I'm truly addicted. I talked to many workers at every location I go to and all of them swear by Chick fil A, eating here while they're working and even when they're off the clock. That says a lot. read more

He yelled my name across the parking lot saying that I'm no longer welcome, losing his composure. Then proceeded to call my cellphone 2x after I had already left and hours later. We place the order around 11:30 am and it took 15 mins plus for cold food. At this point we didn't even eat it. I have been here multiple times before. It's pretty good, and I really like the chick-fil-a sauce. However; the last time I went in there was a hair caught in one of my chicken nuggets. It was definitely not mine as I have (dyed) red hair and this was a really thick black hair. I brought them back and the lady that helped me was very apologetic about the situation. She didn't ask me questions or ask to see my receipt or anything and made it right by getting me a new batch of nuggets right away.
