Why did it take me so long to try this place? I'm not sure but I'm so glad I did. I crave Greek flavors and Nick delivers them well. While the gyro meat served is essentially the same as that which is served everywhere, they differ in the other protein offerings, which include pork belly and chicken souvlaki. I had the bowl with chicken souvlaki and added the pork belly gyro. I loved the variety of flavors and textures in the bowl. The pickled onion and the crispy chickpeas were additions that took this bowl up a notch beyond the typical. All in all, solid and would do again and will soon. So why four stars? Primarily because ordering was a lil confusing and staff didn't steer us back towards the intended order which resulted in a VERY expensive salad that was close to half the bill for four people. For real. Greek salad add a skewer of chicken and it was about $25 vs my bowl with chicken plus added side of protein for about $20. And the Greek salad didn't have any lettuce and only a few olives plus the shaved cheese vs the chunks of feta that are typical. Not sure but something there didn't Add up.. The chicken souvlaki was also a tad on the dry side and the pork belly had several bites that hadn't properly rendered and made for some unpleasant bites. Overall though, quick, fresh, clean, friendly, fantastic. The second and third locations opened just after this experience so I'll be checking out the summit store soon.

This was our first time here. We ordered two beef and lamb gyros and a chicken gyro to go. The menu said the sandwich came with fries. Four fries is not what I would consider fries with a sandwich. They do offer a separate order of fries for an additional four dollars, but I think it's false advertising to say their sandwich includes fries. The sandwiches were OK, but I've had better. The employees were polite and helpful. Nick's has designated several "only Nick" parking spots available in the front. The restaurant is a chain and inside was clean and inviting with available seating, if you plan to eat in.

A convenient no frills spot with healthy and fresh menu options that don't skimp on flavor. They do what they advertise well, and that's convenient, fast, franchised Greek food. The workers were kind, the food came out fast, and it really scratched my craving for a decent salad. The gyro meat tasted great and overall I left full and satisfied.

Not bad. Good but not great. Coming from Detroit with a plethora of greek people and restaurants, I can say that I have had some pretty damn good Greek food. I was craving it the other day and Nick the Greek fit the bill, however it is a chain and I am not a big fan of chains, any of them. The fries were clearly not fresh very stale tasting and obviously been sitting there for some time. I would definitely request freshly made fries when ordering next time. The dining room is spacious and the staff were very friendly. It has the ambiance of a typical fast food type of loaction dining room. We ordered the lamb/beef gyro and the Gyro bowl. Both entrees were decent. I do like that they cater and they are one of our favorites at my office for catered lunches at work and I do request them often. I look forward to trying their rice next time.

I don't know why I don't come here more, it's delicious and the service is great! I stopped by for lunch after a Lowes trip and was quickly greeted by the woman at the register. I decided on what I assume is one of the most popular items, the Gyro Lamb/Beef and made it a lunch special which includes fries and a fountain drink. It came out pretty quickly and everything was hot and fresh. The fries are some of the best I've had, they taste fresh cut and were cooked well. The gyro is delicious and also has fries inside of it which is an interesting and tasty addition. I was very satisfied with the meal and service, and highly recommend Nick the Greek to anyone looking for a nice quick serve greek meal.

I thought the food was just ok. The bread was the best part of it, but the quality of the chicken seemed a little off for the price. My wife ended up getting sick the next day.

My gyro, Nick the Greek! A lamb and beef menu item.

This was great! Seriously, quick service by a very polite staff, reasonable prices, a clean and organized dining area. I got the food to go, but was very comfortable waiting at a table. You know, So many fast food, or "good foods, fast" places, you don't want to touch the tables. This place was clean. The food came out hot, with an excellent presentation, and damn good portions. I got a traditional Gyro and the garlic fries! Good thing I'm single, no one was gonna kiss me after that batch of garlic fries! All in all, kind of a quiet little place. Well worth the visit!

I absolutely love this place Nick the Greek on McCarran the food is tasty and not dry staff if friendly. The frozen yogurt baklava, and chicken Slovenia, Gyro.

Falafel bowl! Hummus was great too.

I've seen the store sign while driving, but we finally had a chance to go in for lunch. Clean and spacious inside, and pretty welcoming. Despite being a weekday, there's a stream of people coming, staying and going. Good sign. The service is very nice. The food? WOW. I had a falafel bowl, and everything is fresh. Rice is warm, not greasy, and not too salty but flavorful. Veggies, fresh. A generous serving of tasty hummus. Falafel? One of the best I've had in my recent memory. Crunchy outside, tender and fluffy inside. Flavored just right. Hmmm so good. Husband had a beef/lamb gyro, and he loved it too. I'm glad we stopped by. We'll be back for more.

It was so amazing the gyro was fire definitely recommend for food the fries were super good. Great kids menu for $9 We had the gyro lamb plate and the Tahini crunch salad. We loved the fried chick peas. Lots of people coming through. A really popular destination for Greek food. I would come back again. Close enough to convention Center to come and go back.

Fast food that includes fresh veggies? The Gyro Bowl is an easy meal option that won't weigh you down. Tomatoes, red onions, cucumber, lettuce, rice, 2 sauces, a sprinkle of grated feta, and your choice of meat. I go with traditional gyro meat but grilled extra crispy. While their fries are pretty mid, every bite of the bowl leaves you wanting more. Pro tip - Order thru the app as you walk out the door since it only takes 11 minutes for them to make it. That way it's warm when you arrive. If I had a wishlist, I would want better fries. Also, I would want them to use a smaller bag. When you order one or two bowls, a tote bag is absolutely overkill. It may be the business model, but they could definitely save some trees by having different sizes or asking if it's necessary.

Fast food Greek ... wow.. I've never heard of this before .. I'm glad we went.. I got the combo plate and let say I was impressed.. the rice. Greek salad . And the chicken was good I can't pull up the whole menu . I'll take a pic next time I go back. And I will be back

    Interior

It was pretty busy during the lunch rush, but the staff stayed very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the beef/lamb pita combo with Nick Fries and a drink. The beef/lamb pita was amazing, and the meat was flavorful and tender. The tzatziki sauce honestly stood out the most to me super creamy with a nice mix of spicy and slightly tangy flavor. It paired really well with the meat, tomatoes, and onions. The seasoning was a little salty, but still very flavorful overall. The pita itself had a nice crunch and was toasted really well. I also got the Nick Fries with beef/lamb. Same thing with the seasoning being slightly salty, but the sauce completely made up for it. It reminded me of the tzatziki sauce but with more garlic flavor and extra spice. The fries were cooked perfectly, soft on the inside with a crunchy texture outside. Even with all the sauce, the fries didn't get soggy. The interior was very clean and had a modern vibe to it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back to try something different next time.

Ask the Community - Nick The Greek

How many other locations of this restaurant are there? Is this a chain that has grown across California and beyond?

Originating in San Jose California Nick The Greek has 75+ locations now with a bunch more on the way, across 8 states and as far east at Tennessee

Is there anything on the menu that is dairy and soy free? Or can be ordered that way (eg. no sauce)? Thanks!

You’d basically need to stay away from the sauces like you mentioned. We do have hummus for a sub on those things

I have loved watching it evolve over the years,…read moreespecially the restaurant, which started as a small offering and has now really come into its own. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.
