Chick-fil-A is pretty consistent nationwide and food wise, there really isn't any difference between one restaurant or another. Ryan (the franchisee) is a great guy and makes sure his store is run well and safely. They have converted part of their curbside area to additional space for the drive thru, so be prepared to look for a spot. The only reason I can't give this place five stars is the location. It's at the worst place at the best intersection in Reno. It was very confusing to find curbside with the drive thru changes - dining room is closed right now. Parking is always a challenge - this is not all CfA's fault - they have a lot of challenges with the car wash next door. If this store was in another spot with better parking and driveway access, it would be five stars, no problem. read more

Always good service, excellent fried chicken which provides flashbacks to my childhood with every bite, and the place is always super clean. Parking can be a bit of a pain here, though not early as bad as when it first opened. My wife and I were super excited when they opened this as before we would only be able to get it when we visited family in California. So we were here on what I believe was their 2nd or 3rd day being open and it was a fricken zoo in the parking lot. Thankfully though, it's calmed since then. Chick fil a has been known to have exemplary service, that is not the case with this location. The food will always be great, but for some reason when the service is awful, so is the food. I repeatedly order on the app for the sole purpose of not having to wait in a ridiculous line only to arrive and not have anything ready or missing items specifically put on my order, and when asked "can I have this item please, sorry you have to have it on your order which is clearly visible as I've provided screenshots only to be turned down, for some damn sauce. I've tried a few times giving this location the benefit of the doubt, only to yield the same incorrect results and apologies of miscommunication. That does not fix the incorrect order or the time wasted. I have 2 stars specifically for the food only. Do better McCarran location. read more

Another excellent visit here. Food is always hot and served with a smile. I got a coupon for a free 8 count nugget so took advantage of that today - they were delicious as always. This is by far, the dirtiest Chick-fil-A location I have ever been to. Not only did I work for the company for seven years in a different state, I have also been a loyal customer ever since for multiple reasons (food, values, etc). It's sad to see a location that is so neglected by its Franchise Operator. You can tell he is very out-of-touch with his business as the floors are consistently not swept, tables are always sticky with leftover bits of food and drink on them, there is a terrible musty and stagnant smell, and the staff regularly gets orders incorrect. So I've been here a couple times to make sure I give the correct kinda review. The first times was through the drive thru. So I wanted to go inside and check things out. Upon walking in, it was very clean and tidy looking, we were greeted when when first walked in. The line was long but went by quickly. They had a something different which I thought was pretty cool, it was Lemon water with sugar or Splenda (diet) never seen that before in a fast food place. We ordered and sat down with a colored tower they put our sauces in, that directed staff to our table. The chick-fil-a sauce was the favorite. Next I was checking out there bar or condiments and it was super clean and tidy. There floors were nice and clean, tables were clean, each table had a tin bucket with flowers on the table that made it look so nice. Food came out promptly and just was as perfect as the first time I had it. Waffle fries were perfectly cooked and chicken that melted in my mouth. As we were leaving they had trash cans that if you wave your hand in front the door opens so you don't have to touch the nasty trash can. Plus they had a jar that said un-used condiments, which was pretty clever. I'm sure they save a lot of money. Next they had a secure kid area for the kids to play that was also clean. I would definitely go back there again and recommend it to people. As we were leaving we even had someone by the front door that said goodbye and have a wonderful day!!! These folks don't follow Covid-19 protocols and after shutting off their dining room are telling customers to crowd into a tiny corner of the lobby. When you try to move away from the Covid cluster/spreader event by stepping into the line area (currently empty) they castigate your to try to get you to return to Covid Delta Variant Deluxe corner where people are standing 5 inches apart from each other and screaming into their cell phones. By closing off the dining area and not providing an appropriate waiting area where people can socially distance they have definitely done more harm than good in the fight against Covid-19 spread. read more

The spicy deluxe chicken sandwich is my favorite, with the chicken nuggets a close second. The chicken is always moist and delicious and perfectly breaded. I like to elevate the flavor on this already yummy sandwich with some chick-fil-A sauce which, when combined with the pepper jack cheese on this sandwich, creates a great mouthful of spicy goodness. They are still busy, busy, busy months after opening, but don't be afraid to jump in behind the stacked up cars in one of the two side-by-side lanes that wind their way up to the drive-through window. The Good: Friendly service. Grounds and building are clean and well kept. The chicken and biscuit had great buttery and savory flavor. The chicken was juicy and clearly unprocessed white meat. The Bad: Time from placing my order to receiving the food = 15 minutes. Fast food is a relative term these days it seems. I had 2 people ahead of me at 10:15am, so not a peak time for visiting for breakfast or lunch. The biscuit disintegrated when I picked it up like toilet paper from a public bathroom. It had to piecemeal it into my mouth while making a mess all over my lap. While the biscuit tasted good, it was a pain to eat. The potato rounds were soft/mushy and tasted like the container they were in. There was no seasoning or salt. I ate 3 and threw them away. Typical Reno. Something new in town and everyone loses their minds over it while seemingly disregarding quality and taste. The drive through at lunch time is insane. Wendy's, Burger King, and KFC are all making similar and delicious chicken sandwiches right now, but its just not as popular to go there at the moment. read more

When we got in line it was obvious that they value customer service. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The line moved fast. I was a little bit disappointed at first. I was under the impression that there would be dinners with mashed potatoes and sides. I was missinformed. I ordered a number 1. The chicken was really good. The sandwich was small but tasty. The fries are real and fresh. Again they should be very proud of their staff. We were helped by Marissa, Zach, Hadit and Matt. All great Employees. They made our visit fun! Four adults two children. Our order was promptly taken and the fact that breaded products are fried in peanut oil was prominently posted in front of each order taker/cashier. Very important to us because our grandson has a serious peanut allergy. The cashier was friendly and very efficient. The food came to our table very promptly even though they were busy. I'm a HUGE fan of Chick-Fil-A. I grew up with these practically around every corner and sorely missed them when I moved west. I'd often go out of my way to find one any time I headed to the Bay Area (yes, who knew Roseville would become my favorite pit stop for a Chick Fil A fix?) just so I could get one of their fat, juicy, salty but simply good chicken sandwiches, always with extra pickles, and of course, their waffle fries, pretty much the only fries I adore - besides Nathan's fries, but I digress. Obviously, I was very excited to learn they'd finally come to Reno. Now my drive would only be 45 minutes instead of 2 hrs! I waited a few weeks until the crowds died down a bit, then I swung by during the weekend early in the morning - I know that even though it's breakfast time, they'll happily make you a lunch combo if you give them an extra few minutes. Service here, as with almost all Chick Fil A's, is maddeningly cheery. How truly disappointed I was to find my sandwich didn't resemble any of the others I've had over the years. The size of the chicken breast itself seems to have shrunk and thinned out. My container of waffle fries? I'd say just over a quarter of them were broken bits, not full slices. When I pointed this out to a staff member who swung by to ask how the meal was, she just shrugged. D.I.S.A.P.P.O.I.N.T.E.D. I really hope this was just an off moment rather than the norm for this franchise. Otherwise, my limerence with Chick Fil A will sadly be over. read more

This place has the BEST chicken sandwiches, hands down! Good lemonade too! I'm really excited to have one of these in Reno now, as I would make it a point to stop whenever I was out of town to grab a bite at the one in Roseville. The line moved quickly and all the staff were friendly. The food came out quickly and was hot/fresh. My favorite sauce is the sriracha, the wife really like the honey mustard. We dined in but they went through the effort to make 2 drive thru lines, YES, 2!! That will keep things moving. They steal. I did not get my fries with my order. When I went back five minutes later after realizing it, they said that they would not give me my fries nor my money back. They kept my money and gave me nothing for it. They are straight up thieves. Their reasoning was that I took to long to realize that I did not have fries. I might have eaten them all and am trying to steal from them. What I heard from their statement was that they believe that their paranoia means that they can steal from their customers. I had the yogurt parfait, delicious and super creamy. My second visit was dining in....the food was good, the chicken nuggets were seasoned well, moist and the choice of sauces excellent. My hubby preferred the Polynesian and the Chick-fil-A. I had the yogurt again, this time the serving was very small. The side salad was nice but not something I will crave! I love their classic chicken sandwich or their spicy chicken sandwich but what really makes it the best is the standard Chick-fil-a sauce. This review is long overdue. When this place first opened, I was THE DUKE! Mainly because I stopped there for breakfast most days on the way to work. The breakfast menu goes til around 10:30am and the Chick-fil-A Biscuits are the best part of that... they are so good. I've tried almost everything though. The Chik-n-Minis are these small pieces of fried chicken in a finger food sized biscuit that's a little sweeter than the normal biscuits. On the regular menu I usually get the Chik-fil-A sandwich, but I also like their chicken strips and nuggets if I'm not looking for a bunch of bread. You can get sauce to dip your chicken/sandwich in and my favorite is the Chik-fil-A sauce. It kinda tastes like a honey mustard mixed with bbq sauce? It's really really good. Also I like the Polynesian sauce. Aside from the food being good, I've honestly never seen a restaurant run more smoothly and be so well taken care of. It's always clean. The employees are attentive, competent, helpful, friendly, and I've never had any issues there. And I've been there at least 40-50 times in the past couple of years since they've been here. That's saying a lot. The management team must really be solid and they must pay well enough to get good workers. Small side note: I wouldn't order Chik-fil-A from DoorDash. Aside from the drivers at DoorDash being subpar, the prices for Chik-fil-A are more expensive on the DoorDash app than if you went to the restaurant yourself. The Chick-fil-A sandwich is like $3.55 when you go there and buy it. On DoorDash they charge $4.85. Just for the same sandwich. And I compared other prices and they're all much higher than they normally are. That all being said, Chik-fil-A is my pick for best fast food place in Reno, and also best overall customer service I've gotten at any casual dining food place. It really is impressive. read more

After 40 minutes of wait on drive thru line, I finally get to taste the chicken sandwich that everyone is talking about. The thick huge chicken was juicy and tender, which was served with perfectly ripped tomato and fresh lettuce, in between the soft bums that got a little crunchy texture on its edge. It already got a good flavor, but my daughter loved to eat the sandwich with their BBQ source. Crosscut potato fries were my favorite. I got four combos (a sandwich comes with drink and fries), and the total was about $36, which wasn't that bad for the volume and equality of food. As for the service, it was good overall. One thing I noticed was that while trainees take care of customers and take orders, their trainers just chat in the back. Hopefully there won't be long wait, next time. read more

Went opening weekend (Saturday)... also a holiday weekend. The parking lot was hectic but they had a pretty great system to get people in. Drive thru has 2 lines. We went in to eat. The line wasn't bad and they actually had people taking orders in line. This really helped a lot. Once we ordered and paid... food was brought to us within 5 minutes. Yum! I've had it before in Sacramento, but it had been a while. Just a good as I remember. I was hyping it up for my guy so his expectations were pretty high lol. He loved it! We both had the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. We also ordered a side of chicken nuggets to share. The food was great, the service was AMAZING. We were brought extra sauce, asked if we needed anything else, and they even took our trash for us... for opening weekend and how busy it was... their service stayed a 10!
