I ordered a delivery from this store and the delivery was both fast and the food hot. But it was not a good experience at all. I'm positive when I started the order it showed picture of some guy claiming to be the owner and promising no fee delivery. When we had the order all ready it was about $20 in fees and given hungry people I burned that extra $20. At the Apple Pay page DoorDash charged an extra $2 or so, so somehow Chick-fil-A or DoorDash don't calculate fees and taxes the same way. Why? But the worst part was the food. We've ordered food here twice recently. The first time we ordered through Doordash and were amazed at how quickly the food got to us. This past Saturday, we stopped in to place an order. Since it was our first time ordering in person at this location, we were surprised at just how bad the parking situation was. I pulled into their lot to discover very few spots plus if you aren't careful, you end up in the drive up order lanes. Well...so much for that! Of all the Chick-Fil-A's we've been to, we've never come across such dismal parking. So...my suggestion is that if you want to order inside, park your vehicle in the main shopping center lot in the area of Giant. I found a pull-through spot right across the lane from Chick-Fil-A. As for the food---both times we ordered the Cobb Salad. I like to get the avocado lime dressing for my salad, which is their default dressing for this item. My husband likes ranch dressing. We take the default chicken pieces which are oven baked (they call them "nuggets" but they are really just cut-up chicken pieces). If you want the breaded nuggets, just let the clerk know when you place your order. My husband was the one who placed our order and said that all the staff he dealt was polite and friendly. It didn't take long for him to get our food. We like this salad due to the assortment of veggies plus you are given dried red peppers to sprinkle on top. Plus a small container of fresh bacon bits to sprinkle on your salad. We also like that there is a cut up hard boiled egg and some shredded cheese. We actually live a little closer to the Chick-Fil-A on Sunset Hills that's right across from Target. That store had ample parking which consists of some parking outside the place plus a lot that is shared with two other fast food places. We would definitely call Doordash again if we want to eat at home. Or, if like this past Saturday, we were out doing errands and the North Point Village one is the logical place to stop, we would go there, now that we're familiar with the parking set up. read more

We go here often, and the chicken strips tend to be more breading than chicken. Now, this would be less egregious if the staff was nice or if they even cared. The young men they have working on the drive-thru are rude, sarcastic, and are, frankly, smartasses. We requested that our chicken strips actually have chicken in them, citing our previous experiences, and we found a group of 3 employees at the window snickering and joking about us. We called them out, and one of them told us to pull out into the parking lot and wait because, and I quote, he had to make them 'perfect' for us and that it would take longer. He said all this with a smirk. We received our chicken a while later, and guess what? It was more breading than chicken. Again. So we waited just because these nasty young men wanted to make fools out of us. This establishment also has the tendency of double-charging cards. We've been double-charged for meals multiple times in this past year and it takes forever to dispute it. Bringing cash isn't any easier, because half of the drive-thru workers can't do math to save their life. If you give them 5 dollars and 2 cents for a 4.02 meal, they'll malfunction and try to give you 98 cents back. I had a few freebies lined up and decided to try all at once! I had the tortilla soup (seasonal), spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, a chocolate chip cookie, and free delivery. Can't beat that on a day filled with cold snow! This particular restaurant delivered my food (free - with tip of course - it was cold so can't possibly forget that). The food was on time (followed in app) and packaged nicely for travel. Hot foods still hot. The driver wore mask and gloves. The new spicy chicken sandwich was amazing! I definitely didn't think I would like it, as I don't like their grilled nuggets at all. Something is weird about it - smells funny and tastes funny. BUT this sandwich is absolutely delicious and it has a little kick. The soup is a NO! Chick fil A you dropped the ball on this one....I love soup!!! and this didn't have soup consistency nor did it have the correct flavor. It reminded me of a bean dish and soup should not have that consistency. I am not particularly a bean person unless I want beans and cornbread specifically. The soup was too thick - not watery or soupy enough. I am glad they tried to add chunky ingredients but its too much. I added water to see if it changed things - nope. The taste had great spices - nice and spicy - but the beans that im guessing were slow cooked overpowered the taste. The color was even off to me - for tortilla soup. Service: Whoever the young lady was working drive through on 3/23 had a very unsavory attitude and was very rude. Rather than use words to engage at all, she kept randomly holding items up, using zero words, and motioning myself and another gentleman who had a separate order to take the items. Her transactions ended in silence. No thank you or anything. I told her to have a nice day and she said nothing back and walked away. Chick-Fil-A at North Point Shopping center is a great restaurant chain for the people in Reston VA. All the associates are very friendly and helpful. There are some areas of improvement that can take place especially for customers who are in the restaurant. I waited for 5 minutes in the pick up area waiting for the associate to pack the order up but she prioritized a phone call rather than the customer (me) right there. She even left her post to put in another order while mine was just sitting there on the counter. This was not a good thing I experienced today August 24, 2022. Chick-Fil-A North Point receives a grade of B because of what I just experienced through. Overall the restaurant gets 4 out of 5 stars. I've been in customer service for over 6 years. You have to prioritize the customers that are already at the restaurant. You never prioritize the phone call over the person who's been waiting no matter how's on the phone. Customer satisfaction is the key focus in all restaurants. Phone calls can wait until after the current customer there is taken care of. read more

Two reviews about two separate visits Today i went through the drive thru and ordered two number 1s, a spicy chicken salad with extra chicken and fries. They couldn't figure out extra chicken and asked me to pull around. Ok fine. But not fine! They did not bring my my food for 17min and the restaurant is empty. I had to call for them to bring me my food. In June: Sure they mess up orders. But this mess up was entirely too big to glance over. I ordered delivery and I received the wrong drinks, the wrong chicken, missing items and the fries were literally half filled. I called and was told they will bring me my missing item and drinks but not the fries because they measure it and the manager claimed they get soggy and deflate that's why it appears the fries were not fulfilled lol. Why the cashier doubled up on my individual order, I have no clue, but it's unacceptable, especially when you are unable to fix it. I really do NOT enjoy writing negative reviews. We live in a "cancel culture" and people tend to complain far more than they compliment. If I'm CHOOSING to spend my money somewhere (especially during a global pandemic) then an equivalence of effort should be made to ensure satisfaction. I'll preface this review with the fact that this is NOT the first time I've had this sort of experience at this location. Today was the last straw for me. After an early morning grocery store run, I decided to swing by the drive-thru for breakfast. Because of previous negative breakfast experiences, I actually circled the parking lot to see how long the line was. Long line = fresh food. Sad but true. I entered the line and ordered the 4-count chicken mini's meal. Easy peasy, right? NOT SO MUCH!!! I drove home, put my groceries away and finally sat down to enjoy my breakfast. I opened the box and discovered 4 pieces of bread!! ZERO CHICKEN. What the entire F?????????????????? So frustrating!!! But I pack up my bread and drive back to the store. The manager on duty happened to be the one to approach me (with a lackluster morning attitude might I add). I explain what happened and he dryly says, "oh they must have misunderstood you because some of the employees will order bread only because of budget constraints." Wait, what?? I ordered a number 2. How was that misunderstood for no meat on my minis? He proceeds to walk away with said returned bread......hold up, wait a minute!! Where are you going with that sir? After realizing he was about to add hot meat to cold bread that I purchased more than a hour ago, sent my covid germ anxiety through the roof!!! IT'S THE GERMS FOR ME!!!!! The fact that he even handled something that I left and returned to the store with told me that zero sanitation efforts are being made here. It should have gone into the trash immediately. Soooooo, NO thanks!! Refund please!! He wasn't very apologetic nor did he attempt to offer to accommodate me for a return visit. I'm well aware that we're all living through a time that's extremely foreign to us. However, these restaurants complain about how they've struggled during the pandemic, yet there is little regard for patrons. As I mentioned in the beginning, I'd just left the grocery store. After spending $150 on food, I STILL decided to go to Chic-fil-A. I could have come home and made breakfast. The inconvenience of having to get in my car and drive back and have the manager deal with the situation like "oh well, sucks for you" is the most frustrating part. Yes, mistakes happen. I suspect giving me a 4-pack of bread wasn't intentional, but at least pretend to care because ultimately, that's what matters to me. I can see why this location has horrible reviews. On my first visit, I waited 17 minutes in line(there were only 6 cars in front of me) and when I pulled out and was on my way, I opened my order to no napkins and only 3 minis in a 4 count order. Great first visit. On my second visit, painfully slow again(8minutes with 4 cars in line) and again No napkins in my order. Please let me know if napkins are extra because I'm happy to pay for them. They have people taking orders in the drive thru by coming up directly to customer's windows. Then they take payment by you driving to another person and not the window? That other person is in your face gathering payment on a machine. When you pull up to the window, they hand you your order in a basket. What's the point of that? Contactless?!? The first to review, Chris, from Herndon, sounds like he is an owner (or related to one) of a Chick fil-A, but I, who had never been to one before, have to agree with all the positive things he says. My husband and I walked over to the grand opening at the North Point branch and had a very nice experience. There were as many trainers there (brought in from all over the U.S.) as employees, and everything was running smoothly. The place was also busy when we went back yesterday for breakfast (we had been given free breakfast sandwich cards at the grand opening). The service and cleanliness were top-notch. The employees all seem very happy and eager to be helpful. They even have handsomely-designed blue ultraviolet lights hanging over the trash receptacles to kill bacteria - very cool. On the food side, again, from my limited experience, I found the texture of the meat in the chicken sandwich a bit strange. I can't really describe it, but slightly rubbery comes to mind. Not terrible, but it just seemed more "processed" than home made - which I guess is logical. For breakfast I ordered the egg-white grill, which I thought would come on an English muffin, but it came on a biscuit. I have to say the biscuit was delicious, but it crumbled away (as a good biscuit will) with every bite I took. Switching the English muffin to the biscuit was probably just a rookie mistake by a new cook/assembler, and the biscuit was delicious, but an English muffin would have worked better. Overall, I can still give five stars for this friendly, clean new place. As fast food places go, this is as good as it gets. read more

I am constantly shocked at the timely, accurate, and COVID related guidelines this establishment follows on all my orders. Since the occurrence of this pandemic, I have started to order delivery more and I am always just taken back at how quickly my food arrives and always is accurate. Other reviews complaining about cleanliness of store- I live right behind this location and visit often. I really want to give this chain higher marks because I love Chick-fil-A. This chain is also so close to our house and I get a mystery breakfast item almost every week and it's a great way to share! Their breakfast is delicious! I usually get their sandwiches, but this time I got a breakfast bowl which comes with hash browns, eggs, cheese and chicken bites. It honestly, didn't look appetizing but it was actually delicious. It's a bit heavy for breakfast for me, but it's not bad if you share it with someone. I also got free hash browns so it was plenty to share. The lemonade tasted really good and lemony, but I shouldn't have gotten it this early in the day. After looking around the space, I decided to order to go. I'm glad I did, because the place didn't "look" clean. They had crumbs on the table and some trash was on the floor. I get these are because some customers are messy eaters but someone should be walking the dining area and making sure it's clean for the new customers. Also, it's barely the middle of breakfast so I'm wondering if that was from the night before? I would hope not. Their food was really good though and their hash browns were newly cooked so they were crunchy and hot which I how I like it. I think they just need to have someone make sure the area is clean and well maintained. If I have not had Chick-fil-A before, I personally wouldn't be eating anything from them and would walk out. I'd give them 3 stars for the food, 1 star for their dining area.
