I gave this franchise another try. It just doesn't live up to the hype. I tried this in Denver, CO and now San Jose, CA. I'm giving this place 3 stars because I enjoyed the Original Chick Fil-a sauce and because my kids enjoyed their spicy chicken sandwich. I have a different opinion due to my tenders not being crispy. They opened at 10:30am and we were the 2nd in line for the drive thru so I'd hate to think it was an old batch. I also ordered the crunchy kale salad, which was a very small portion for the price point. They didn't offer salad dressing so good thing I asked before driving off. The items from this place are certainly tasty, but the value of the food doesn't match the quality of the food. Items are overpriced, small, and the portion of protein often doesn't match the size of the bun/biscuit or even the tomato slice. I went through the drive thu this morning and ordered the Egg White Grilled Chicken Muffin sandwich (egg white, grilled chicken, and american cheese on an english muffin). The sandwich was $4.85 (ala carte) and good, but the protein was very small, a lot smaller than the egg or the muffin. To be honest, the piece of chicken was barely bigger than a package of their sauce. I've had their chicken sandwiches on three other occasions and have received a small portion of chicken every time, but never really gave it much thought. This chick-fil-A always disappoints me with the customer service. The employees are not polite and when they come in from break or going to lunch they expect us to somehow know. They either ignore you completely or just say " I am on break" I feel that if you are on break or going they either remove their shirts so know one asks them anything. They are so stingy with the sauces and tbh this is the worse location ever. Drive thru has given me wrong orders or charged me more than what I ordered. By the time I realize it's wrong I either at my destination and can't go back. They need to work on the customer experience and have better trained employees. read more

So I ordered from here last night from door dash. Why do you guys have the order tag stating 2 packages of dressing and provide the customer just one? Along with that the fries are so full or crumbs. I ordered a Cobb salad with crispy bell peppers that usually come with it but I was giving random things and some nuts. What if I had a food allergy and didn't order the nuts and got the nuts? I don't get it though. The order tag clearly states 2 creamy salsa. This isn't the first time it's happened all the time and it's this location. If it wasn't stated on the tag I couldn't even argue why. Plus I only added one pickle and my spicy chicken had so many like 6-7 that the bun was soggy. I understand the thought behind trying to "expedite " the drive thru lines .. but trying to do it "in n out " style where people are standing outside holding terminals isn't it . Met up with a friend here for lunch before a funeral at Oak Hill across the street. There's plenty of parking but the first row can be tight with the drive-thru traffic cutting across. Might be safer to park in the second row. Fast checkout lines with friendly cashiers. I ordered a deluxe spicy chicken sandwich meal. I was surprised at how clean the restaurant was and how fast my order came out. Food was great as usual! There were friendly staff walking around cleaning tables and offering to dispose of our trash. Don't forget to scan your app for rewards. Leaving Chick-Fil-A and trying to make a left onto Curtner can be very tricky with the amount of traffic on Monterey Road. 03/25/2021 We came for dinner tonight. We have been here before and it hasn't been too bad. But tonight was a bit out of sorts I think for them. Super busy. But my fiancé's sandwich came out wrong. They, even with the receipt didn't bring it back to us. And after waiting for like ten minutes we went back up and it was in the window ice cold. We asked to have it remade and they told us it would be ten more minutes bc they had another rush. She took it as is but definitely was not happy. Furthermore upon getting back to the table the lettuce was black in areas and rusted. As well as the tomato was very de structured. Only thing wrong on my end was the fries, Luke warm and pieces of black /burnt fries. We will be back but hopefully on a slower evening. So to assure better service and produce 5/18/19 Came in today to them make my fiancé's sandwich wrong. She ordered the crispy deluxe (just sandwich) and instead of getting the crispy they sent her a spicy crispy. And she had to wait 15 minutes for them to make her a new one. You will see in the picture we paid $1.30 for these two small pieces of half bacon. The manager said they are not getting there food bc some plane crashed next to their distribution center, so they haven't been able to get food. I had wilted lettuce on my sandwich to which she stated the lettuce was cold. Neither of which is an excuse for not making the food correctly the first time. Please remember to check your to-go order when you come here! I have beem to this location many times as it was the only one in the relative area for some years before Blossom Hill and Milpitas popped up. I have always have issues with my orders missing items or having items prepared incorrectly. I understand that it is beneficial to the community to hire younger folks into the work force, but I think there may be a lack of management here. One mistake here or there is the nature of fast paced business, but 50% of the time? I dont think so... We crave Chik Fil A now and then, and it is nice to receive what you ordered and paid for. The curbside service was TERRIBLE. I placed my order on the app around 9:15am this morning. I got to the restaurant at 9:30 and let them know I was there through the app. I got the confirmation that was order was being made. I was patiently waiting but no one had attended me after 20min so I thought that maybe I was supposed to pick up through the drive thru. I went to go ask if I had to pick up there or in the parking lot and they told me to go to the curbside pick up station. At this point they already knew I was there or that there was someone waiting at the curbside pickup. I kept watching cars going in and out of the drive thru. I was already frustrated because I placed my order before them, yet my order was still being made and theirs was ready. At around 10am (finally) I got the notification that my order was ready and that an employee would be bringing it out to me soon. I waited a whopping FIFTEEN MINUTES. I was already mad. To top it off, I kept watching their employees going in and out of the restaurant to take their breaks with food. How is it that their food can be made at any time but a customer can be waiting a whole 45min for theirs??? I understand that they need their breaks and that they've been there since before 6am, but the customer should come first. They should not be prioritizing an employees order. The customer comes first. Some lady (I'm assuming a manager) went outside to take her break with the rest of her co workers. She noticed that there was a sign blocking the exit for the drive thru and she told another employee to move it out of the way so that customers could safely leave the drive thru without hitting anything. However, 3 cars went by and none of the employees moved the sign. At one point, a customer came out of the drive thru, got out of the car and moved the sign himself. A CUSTOMER SHOULDNT HAVE TO DO THIS. Even if the manager was on her break, she should have moved the sign herself. After all, that IS why she has legs and arms. If she saw that her employees weren't doing what she asked them to do, she should have reminded them or moved it herself. But you know what she did instead?? She sat there, eating her food while a customer had to go out of his way to move a sign. Another person who ordered through curbside pulled up next to my car while this was happening. After another 10min I saw that he was getting frustrated too. We asked if he ordered through curbside and he said yes. We let him know that we had already been waiting for over 45min at this point. He suggested that we go up and ask what was taking so long. My brother got out of the car with him and the employee just said "did you say that you were here on the app?? Did you get all the confirmations??" Of course we said yes because we had. Then he goes inside and finally brings out my order. We asked him what was taking so long and he said that they were short staffed. However, there were 3 female employees on their break and around 5 male employees outside. I don't understand why there were so many employees outside. The male employees were there since we arrived, yet they did not ask once if we had been taken care of or anything. If they're so short staffed, they should bring all the male employees in to help out in the kitchen. Or they shouldn't send 3-5 employees on their breaks at the same time. Right after we complained and we got our order, we left. This was probably around 10:15am. Once I got home, the soda I ordered was flat, my hashbrowns were soggy, the biscuits on the sandwiches were flat and soggy, and the iced coffee I ordered was watered down. Also, I don't believe they gave us the right chicken on the biscuits. The last time I ordered I got grilled chicken but this time it was fried. It's as if they ran out of chicken and used the one from the lunch/dinner menu. It was not good at all. All the sandwiches were falling apart and we didn't have the satisfaction of a beautiful sandwich. From this, I could tell that my order had been sitting on a counter for a while, even though I was outside waiting for almost an HOUR. I thought curbside was supposed to be fast and easy??? Apparently not at this location. I understand that the pandemic has made things a little weird and frustrating, but it should not take a whole hour for a customer to receive their curbside order. They knew I was outside and they took about 15-20min to bring out my order after I got the notification that an employee would bring my order out. It was my pleasure leaving this review. As you may know, I like to point out locations of chains/franchises that standout from their brothers and sisters. This one is pretty up there. Look it's Chick-fil-A, so it's pretty straightforward and I won't get into a long review on it, but this location was top notch. Drive through experience - faster than you think despite the longer lines. Two lines and efficient payment and order methods. Food - fresh. Yep, that doesn't always happen, so this is nice and I know it should be a given, but it is not always the case. It is busy, whether it is lunch hour or early evening, always quite busy, so just be warned and why drive-through is my go to. I have to admit until recently, I was very reluctant on joining the Chick-Fil-A bandwagon, until one day at lunch, I caught a whiff of a warm chicken sandwich, that was brought in by a coworker. Of course it was from Chick-Fil-A. Ever since that day I've been hooked. The fries are always perfection and never greasy like a lot of places, and the chicken- whether it be nuggets, salad, or sandwich, never disappoints. Oh- don't get me started on the milkshakes because holy cow, they are addicting. The chocolate is definitely my favorite. It never tastes like straight up ice cream and always maintains a creamy consistency, even after sitting for a little bit (surprisingly) Anyway, Chick-Fil-A is great, and if you're hesitant, put those worries to the side and try it at least once in your life :) read more

There are many reasons people rave about this franchise. I myself love their food...at least compared to other fast food place. My rating is mostly based on how they handled their orders and provided good service during the Shelter in-place. As always they have a long line in the drive thru but they managed to keep the line go fast. They ended up having 2 lines. Staff were quick to get your orders and we didn't have to wait much. Got chick fil a last week for takeout and as usual it hit the spot! Surprisingly this place had a long line of cars when we went and so I ended up pulling over and ordering online for pickup. The line was shorter and we got our food way faster - a good hack if you want to save some time! When we got there we ended up ordering: * chick fil a sandwich- this is my staple go to whenever I go here and I'm never disappointed. I think what really makes it yummy is the chic fil a sauce. Chick fil a also has other sauces but my fave is the normal chic fil a one and I love it! * waffle fries - these are crunchy crispy and delicious. I had a really long day today so going to chick fil an after a long doctors appointment with my bf was really getting me through the afternoon. We ordered 2 spicy deluxe meals and 1 order of 12 nuggets. We got everything except the chicken inside the spicy deluxe. It was upsetting after getting home with lots of traffic to find out that our food wasn't fully given to us. I decided to finally give this place a shot because my coworker keeps raving about how bomb it is and how she always craves the salad. So I asked for recommendations and ordered every single item on the list (of recommendations). Spicy chicken deluxe meal: (2.5/5) I had high hopes for this burger, but was extremely disappointed. The patty was very mild in spice and was pretty soggy when I took my first bite. I dipped it into the chick fil a sauce and it tasted just a tad bit better. I did however appreciate that it was a thick juicy chicken patty. I'm not sure if the quality of the burger was due to ordering through drive thru and then consuming it after I arrived home. The drive home was approximately 5 minutes. The waffle fries were such a let down. Super soggy and tasted almost styrofoam like. Chicken wrap: (2/5) came with a whole wrap cut in half. You have a choice of the available dressings. I chose avocado lime dressing. Dressing was pretty salty, but good. I'm not sure why, but the chicken tasted mushy. I might actually get this without chicken next time. Mac n cheese: (1/5) this straight up tastes like microwaved Mac n cheese. Market salad: (3/5) I liked this salad, however, didn't love it because of the goat cheese and my choice of dressing (my fault entirely). I got the spicy salsa dressing not knowing it was a creamy dressing. This salad would pair much better with a vinaigrette dressing. It came with dark leafy greens, strawberries, blueberries, side of nuts and granola and raisins. Oh yeah, and the mushy chicken. I would also get this without the chicken next time. I give the staff 5/5 because they were really nice. I asked for all the sauces and they offered to give me 2 of each without charging extra. I'm not surprised that this place has such low rating. On the positive side they have a lot of employees to help take your order and move you through the line. I ordered The chicken sandwich, regular chicken nuggets, grilled chicken nuggets, Nugget meal and mac & cheese. The mac n cheese was alright, very cheesy. The grilled nuggets are a huge ripoff at $5.69 for maybe 2oz of meat. But thats not what the main issue is. It smelled like the chicken was bad and also tasted as if it had been on the line for awhile. It reminded me of when I got food poisoning from Taco Bell chicken and also when I worked at Pizza Hut and the chicken went bad it has a unique smell to it. That is exactly how this chicken smelled. I couldn't even force myself to eat a whole piece. I tasted it and spit it out and threw it away. The regular nuggets needed more flavor and portion. The pieces were much smaller than normal.
