I've loved other bb.q Chicken locations, so I was really excited when one opened near me. My absolute favorite is the Cheesling wings. It's such a unique flavor that you can't easily find elsewhere, and it's the reason I keep coming back to bb.q Chicken. Unfortunately, the Cheesling wings at this location have been really inconsistent. The last couple of times I've ordered them, the Cheesling powder was only lightly sprinkled on top instead of fully coating the wings, so they looked nothing like the photos on the menu. It almost seemed like the wings were placed into the to-go box first and then the powder was sprinkled over them. At other locations, I've watched them toss the wings in the Cheesling powder first, giving them a thick, even coating before boxing them up. The other flavors have been pretty consistent, but it's disappointing that my favorite item hasn't been. Service has also been quite slow on several visits. I really hope they improve because I'd love to support this location. But if the Cheesling wings continue to be this inconsistent, I'll probably just make the drive to one of the other Bay Area locations whenever I'm craving them. read more

Was an okay Korean Fried chicken spot. Been wanting to try this place out ever since I've been other chain locations. Went here with some friends and ended up getting 3 small orders of different flavors; consisting of Soy Garlic, Golden Original, and Honey Garlic. All were fried great as we've come to expect of Korean Fried Chicken. But of the 3, the soy garlic was the best with the Golden Original being kind of bland. Also ended up ordering the Kimchi Fried Rice as a side was okay. Was excited to try it with the runny egg on top but was disappointing. Service is what you'd come to expect of any counter service place as you place your order at the register and they bring it out to you when ready. Overall, with places like Bonchan and Von's chicken, it's hard for me to place this place over those two. read more

I can't remember if I've ever been to a bb.q before, but I felt like it was my first time here. It was 8pm on a Friday evening and was quite packed but there were still a good amount of tables available. The restaurant feels like I ordered two small orders of their wings since I wanted to try two different flavors - Gangnam Style (savory and sweet) and Soy Garlic (soy sauce, garlic, and honey). Both wings were delicious (saucy and crispy on the outside), but I did enjoy the Soy Garlic more since it was savory and garlicky. I thought the Gangnam tasted more medicinal, most likely because of the cinnamon I think was what the staff told me? Overall, a great spot for those who enjoy Korean fried chicken. The food used to be consistent, but a recent string of terrible customer service and cutting corners means I won't be back. Originally, I appreciated how consistent the chicken was, though I was disappointed when they stopped selling the chicken gizzard. However, the service has completely tanked. On a previous visit, the staff member helping me kept yawning and could barely hear my order, which felt highly unprofessional. My latest visit was the final straw. Found this amazing spot while driving by Dublin. We were craving for some chicken wings and this place popped out. We were surprised to see that their chicken wings are bigger than usual. We had the original, galbi and soy garlic. All were awesome but my favorite has to be the soy garlic. Wings were completely smothered in sauce but remained crunchy! The Rose Ddeok-bokki was a perfect side dish. It was on the spicy side though so if you can't bear the heat, maybe skip it this time. Also love the Kimchi Fried Rice. It has garlic, some sort of citrusy taste (orange?) and pepper. It's listed at 2 fire level but honestly we couldn't taste the spice. The chicken pieces cooked well and tasted very fresh. The pickled raddish tastes just ok, I've had much better one. I don't know if it's because the wings are so sweet that the pickled raddish tastes muted or what. Fries 4/5 These fries are so crunchy. It's one of the best fries we've ever had in the area. Overall it was very enjoyable. The service could be better. I know everything is made fresh to order. She took our order and gave us our drinks. She said it would take 25 Minutes for our chicken. They have lots of TVs so we passed the time watching the Australia tennis match. We ordered soy garlic wings, cheeseling boneless chicken, rose pasta, and ramen. Soy garlic wings: 4.5/5 very delicious with juicy chicken and flavorful sauce over the crispy batter. Cheeseling boneless: 3.5/5 it's very good but slightly drier than the wings. Cheese is not my favorite flavor though and can use more cheesy powder on it. Rose pasta: 3/5 I thought it was good, and worth trying; but I also had better ones elsewhere. Ramen: 2.5/5 the soup is a bit weak in taste and ramen noodles texture got soft quickly. A few other things unrelated to food: the interior AC was a bit too strong, and the wait time was also longer than normal, as we waited 50 mins for all our food to be ready. I also noticed that the line of customers ended up in between the tables when it go long.
