Although I don't normally come here because I disagree with a lot of their business practices or the belief systems they back, I agreed to stop in to pick up food for a family member at her request. The service was great, they agreed to make a lunch combo for me at breakfast time and appropriately set the expectation that it would be a bit of a wait for my order to be done. You know a city is doing terrible when their Chick-fil-A is terrible. This review is not about Chick-fil-A in general. It's about this specific Chick-fil-A on Cerrillos in Santa Fe. Yesterday I placed an online order and was sitting in the lobby waiting for it to be ready. The app said it was ready and someone would call my name. After a couple minutes, nobody had called my name so I went and got in the pick up counter line. There was one woman ahead of me. We stood there for five minutes while countless employees looked at us, walked by us, etc., and nobody offered Any kind of help. There were probably 15 employees behind the counter, including managers Who were standing around and talking or looking at their phones. Ultimately after standing in that line at least three minutes I had to sort of cut in front of the person in front of me and ask someone to help us. My food had been sitting there getting cold the entire time. This location is a joke and Chick-fil-A should close it down cause it's doing nothing but hurting their reputation for good customer service. read more

Missing Food! I eat at Chick-fil-a almost every week as its the best (non-mexican food) fast food in Santa Fe. However everytime I go there I'm shorted a food item, such as sandwich or a fries, etc., and its take me 30 min to drive there, so unless I catch it there, its an hour round trip for me. I very much like that you order regular menu items during breakfast hours. My two chicken sandwiches (one spicy, one regular) were tasty as expected. The drive through line was long during my visit on a Friday evening, but the efficiency of the order takers at Chick-Fil-A is better than most fast food restaurants. I liked that our order was taken near the menu so it made it easy to know what I wanted and what the sauce options are. Without any sauce, the nuggets and sandwiches would just be okay. Super disrespectful drive thru employee. Was there at 4:30. I came here for the first time and was stuck in the line moving so slow. So I started a timer, I feel it's easy to grow impatient so it's nice to see how long you actually wait. Then as the employee hands me my food he looks at my phone which was on my lap and says "what's the timer for?" In a nasty tone. I have two issues with this interaction. 1. My phone was on my lap so this employee was not only looking into my car but also down at my lap and crotch area. 2. Why does he need to know what it's for? It's on my personal cell phone MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!! Had this interaction not happened, I likely would have had no issue and not be writing a review. The drive thru was definitely dragging their feet and holding everything up but I understand things go wrong sometimes. However looking into customers personal space and privacy is unacceptable. read more

Can not get an order right. I've hesitated to review but after the 5th time. I am done. Didn't get my meal, didn't get sauce, didn't get salad dressing that actually comes with a salad. Ordered threw drive up and had to go in twice to get everything I needed. The manager in duty, James, didn't say a word to me just gave me what I asked for. Second time I talked to Max who was AWESOME AND APOLOGETIC, got me my Salad dressing and apologized again. Walked by James the manager and told him they messed up again and he just kept walking. And PLEASE tell me WHY it is necessary to have a PAD lock on the bathroom doors??? When i asked what the code was I got a rude "It should be on your receipt you'd have seen it if you looked" IM SORRY i don't usually have to look at my receipt to pee. And why was it so damn hard to just say "oh it 1234* (literally) it's on the receipt for future reference". Abby, the staff manager, was the worst person I've ever encountered in the food industry. Multiple orders around me were incorrect and my order was not even made. I have eaten at Chik-fil-a in various places. It is my "go to" fast food when traveling. I will never stop here again. The grilled chicken was dry and simply tasted odd. I think they must use a different awful seasoning than other franchises across the United States. The ice cream was grainy but that's typical for most chik-fil a's but I needed to kick my blood sugars up quickly so I dealt with that. The fries were soggy and my husband's grilled chicken was also rubbery and had no sauces just a small piece of lettuce and a tomato slice. Not even a pickle. The food left a stale taste in my mouth. Never has this happened anywhere. The lemonade wasn't good either. I don't know what they are doing at this particular restaurant but I wouldn't go there and won't do there again. We waited in line for over 40 minutes. An employee came out to tell all the cars it would be about 15 minutes. In between cigarette puffs he went car to car telling people their good would be free and Chic Fil A would be out about $500.There was no backing out or an escape route to leave line as there were at least 25 cars stacked up. I think this location is on the newer side, which is why I will give it another chance in light of my experience. The location and inside is fantastic. It is clean and inviting. The staff, however, are very laid back and lackadaisical. I was very surprised to see this from a Chick-fil-A since they are known for their elite customer service. The staff seemed to be very unsure of themselves, very slow to act and generally non-observant. They were nice when I final got an interaction, but getting that interaction took a while. For a refill, I watched 8 staff just standing by the drive-thru window. Some of them looked at me while I waited with the lid off my cup, others did not see me, but were just standing there. A person who looked like a manager came from the back and looked at me and didn't say anything to me as she walked by. It was pretty weird actually. At this same time, there were two people at the front counter, but only one was taking order since there wasn't anyone else at the counter besides me. The person not taking an order looked at me a few times and never said anything to me or came over to me. Also, This is small, but I am used to every other location taking trash or a finished tray from my table as they walk by. This did not happen here. I sat there for a few minutes after I had finished and my tray was neatly packed on the edge of the table, and twice staff walked by the table and did nothing.
