Great food great service. Mushroom and Swiss burgers were really good. Cookies were delicious.

It's in a redone Hardee's location across from McDonalds. Didn't know what to expect. Waited for it at the drive up window. Ordered a double for me and a single for wife. They must make em fresh like steak-n-shake. Took it home (my night to get supper). Holy moly, the double was a monster that melted in my mouth. My wife couldn't even finish the single, it was so big. If it's burgers to go again, I'm back there ordering two singles eating mine and a third of the wife's! read more

It's just okay for fast food. Price isn't bad for what you are getting but it's as if you mixed fast food grade with like chilis or Applebees type grade. It's not bad but not great. I'll probably try other things in the menu at some point but I feel as though this is an accurate and honest review. Also we went through the drive through and it took 19 minutes. read more

The service was a bit slow, but we weren't in any hurry. My burger and fries were very good and my wife really liked her salad. Reasonable prices too. I would recommend it as a good fast food option, definitely better than McDs. read more

We've been driving by since it opened and finally decided to go in and give it a try well I'm sorry we did. We walked in no one said anything I'm the one who spoke first, and that started things off wrong next we looked at the menu board and saw everything was separate no meals at all I wasn't in the mood to piece my meal together so that didn't make me happy either. My husband has me sit down and he finishes our order because he knows I'm getting frustrated with the whole situation, fast forward to him sitting down with me I look at our receipt, and almost 40.00$ later for two people insane if you ask me I'm still pissed about it. While we were sitting there looking around the room trying to see what changes they made when they took over the building from Hardies well all we could see were 3 or 4 stencils on the walls pretty sad when that's the only change you make. Then to top of our experience while we were there 3 of the managers called 1 of the employees out for a "chat" about being on her phone instead of helping on shift the night before, okay don't get me wrong if she needs to be spoken to speak to her but do you need to do it in a packed dining room and does it take 3 managers, not 1/1 anymore in a private office? I really like Beef-A-Roo. I know it's a strange name, but the food is great. My wife and I both love the olive burger. There are so many choices. Salads, burgers, roast beef and more. One of my favorites is the mahi mahi sandwich on wheat bread. Sweet potato fries are another favorite and the cheese fries can't be beat. They also have fried cheese curds from Wisconsin. I really hate to be the first person to review and have it be a negative. They appear to be new and there are always struggles when starting out but they have several problems which need to be addressed to be successful. First - the smell. It is a former Hardee's building so who knows how old it is but the smell emanating from the restrooms, which are right next to the order counter, is incredibly off putting. If i hadn't been getting my order to go, I'd have walked out. Next - the fries. Absolutely awful. Very dry and crunchy but not burnt or overcooked. My best guess, from years in the industry, is that their fries have come in frozen, were thawed (accidentally?) and then refrozen. This causes water crystals to form inside the fries and gives them the consistency of cheese curls. Lastly the signature burger. A good size for the price but absolutely over-slathered in various condiments. One other comment is the size of their menu offering. Personally, I don't see how they could be known for anything special with so many things to cook. These run the gamut from burgers, to roast beef, chicken, turkey, vegetarian, pork, etc. Not to mention numerous salads, which was the one bright spot in our purchase. Take a look at the pictures of the menu board and you'll see what I mean. Also, they might want to consider offering a "value" package where an entree is paired with a side and a drink. I came here and ordered the world famous Bimini Bowl™! Can't recommend it enough! They even threw in extra Churd for a nominal fee. $1.99 if I'm not mistaken. Really a great place to get sloshy in your belly! I didn't have any trouble parking or getting blocked in by delivery drivers, but I did get the finger from someone that was leaving! I don't know what I did to make them mad, but I won't deduct any stars for that! read more

I went to Beef-a-roo because I had never heard of such a thing before. My cashier was very nice and helpful. We got the 2.99$ cheese curds and they are tasty with both the ranch and marinara sauce. The cheese curds are fresh and hot but, are small and very bite size. We also got the potato but as a entree not a side. Next time I would stick to the potato as a side because its quite small. The orange melted Velveeta looking cheese was something I wasn't expecting however I would take that off because, it wasn't very tasty and kinda tasted like copper-y and gross. But other that that the potato was a potato nothing to write home about. We also got the wild west beef burger And it was very nice! Of course it's quite a hefty sandwich but it's wroth it. Also got the kids cheese burger with fries. And the burger is very tasty, fresh and hot! but not too hot the perfect hot. The fries are flavorful crispy and hot! My husband and I just had our first visit to the new restaurant on Chestnut Expwy in Springfield, MO. Overall, we were happy with it. I got the mahi mahi sandwich and he got a cheese burger and fries. Everything was hot and fresh, the employees were super nice & helpful, and it was fast. Once we were done, we went outside to get into our vehicle to go back to work. A delivery truck was sitting in the parking lot, blocking us from backing up and blocked several cars next to us as well. My husband asked the delivery driver how long he was going to be, to which he replied "30-35 Minutes". We had 10 minutes to get back to work. My husband stated that we couldn't get out and needed to go back to work but the delivery driver had already turned his back on us and was scanning items in the truck. He did not give us the time of day nor did he care that we would be late for work. This world is unkind now days but that was a huge slap in the face. Let me mention that the parking spaces to our right were all empty and he could have easily pulled into those spots and would have not blocked anyone. But he would have had to walk 5 more feet so that is probably why he didn't do it. We eat out several times a week for lunches and have never had someone be so rude to us before. To not even acknowledge or existence after telling us how long he was going to be there is ridiculous. My husband and I both work for O'Reilly Auto Parts and we would never let one of our delivery drivers treat customers like this. We ended up driving through the grass to get out of the parking lot, which is illegal, but we had to get back to work. We both had time sensitive work that needed to be done as soon as we got back. The gentleman who was delivering the food was an older man, grey hair, not overweight but not super skinny. He turned around so fast after realizing we needed out that i was not able to get a good look at his face or see if he had a name badge on. We will not be back to Beef a Roo. If they hire people like this to deliver their food, I can only imagine who is cooking in the back. read more
