Chick Fil A is fantastic, particularly this location. The owner, Dan, personally ensures everything is done right. He's a doer too - I've seen him personally taking trash bags out to the dumpster, etc. He also eats at the restaurant regularly so he knows the quality of what they serve. Entered the establishment at 0646a for a spicy chicken biscuit pickup only. I was NOT greet by not a single person on the front end (approximately 3 individuals). Another gentleman walks in 5 mins after me and they all speak to him. By this time someone else walks from the back I let her know how I wasn't greeted she apologized on behalf of the other 3. Wonder if I wasn't greeted because I used my free sandwich reward? Either way the floors were filthy in the pickup area .....wet floor signs were present but they were not so much wet as they were greasy and dirty as if they were not properly cleaned the day before. I wish there was a different one on my way to the government compound as I would avoid this one altogether, the service this morning was definitely not on par with their usual and with this location that seems to be the norm. Worst experience I've ever had a chick fil a. Checked my order and they gave me the wrong size fries. They took my bag back and dumped my medium fries into a large box, no additional a fries. No sauce in the bag that comes with the grilled club and no sauce that I asked for. read more

Today I arrived at the restaurant to pick up an uber eat order and the staff told me that someone else had already taken it, so I contacted the customer and he said he didn't receive it, I tried to ask the staff in a friendly way if they could make another order, which was a chicken nuggets combo, but they refused. It's so frustrating that I spent seven minutes and drove 2 miles and communicated with them at the restaurant for ten minutes, burning gas and wasting time, just because of their mistake that the order was taken by someone else, but I have to pay for their mistake. The restaurant should come up with a better solution with these food delivery platforms, such as deleting the order in their system instead of letting the innocent delivery people waste time and gas. read more

Service is OK, at least I was given my money back for the fruit cup. All the fruit was soggy and we came here specifically for that and the play area. The play area is dirty, there is trash, dried spilled drink on the benches, there was dirt and crumbs of food all over the steps leading to the slide I don't even want to imagine what the inside of this playground looks like if this is how the seating area in the stairs are. it obviously hasn't been cleaned in a long time. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness and the quality of food. This is by far the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. Let me start off by saying this is one of best restaurant chains around,they have quality food that is accompanied by quality customer service. There is nothing bad I can say about them(my opinion of course)!.. I've never had a bad experience,they always serve you with hot food and cold beverages,they're always upgrading their food options whether it's comfort food or healthier options. I'm a fan of the grilled nuggets,I could probably eat a 20 piece in one setting if I was hungry enough. The waffle fries are hot,never burnt or hard. What amazing service! As my boyfriend and I drove around to find parking we saw a young man outside of the pickup window handing people food from the window to their cars. Whaaaaat, so dope. We went inside to order since we had a big order of about 10 meals and felt really bad, but our cashier insisted it was okay and made us feel a bit better. After we got all our drinks and food. Very fast service always, can't really complain about Chick-Fil-A, I mean come on! Cashiers were very friendly at the window, and the 3-5 minute "wait" on fries for my coworker was way quicker than expected. The only issue I encountered was the person who was outside taking orders this morning. Very snappy and when she could hear my order she quickly snapped with "I can't heart you, you need to speak up" and totally disregarded the greeting or any type of welcome. Service and food are always on par at this location. Drive thru and parking are always obnoxious but that's just part of going to Chic Fil A. Specials bring out twice the kaos so I plan ahead and pack patience. I love the annual tradition of cow appreciation so why not keep it going. This year it was just a entree versus the meal but that's fine. I think there's really more fun in dressing up and seeing others dressed up. I really like the involvement this restaurant/chain does above and beyond compared to its competitors for and with the community. Excellent customer service from their infamous tag line "my pleasure" to how they handle all situations. I like the added have a seat and we will bring the food to you as I'm usually there with kids and it's so helpful not to have to juggle kids, food tray and possible crowded lobby. I usually only stick with the basic chicken sandwich with pickles on the side (because someone else will eat them no sense letting them go to waste). Those waffle fries and a sweet tea is probably the only real reason I go but I can't make it look that obvious. Kids get the nugget kids meal and appreciate the option of keeping the prize or getting an ice cream. They feel so grown with that executive decision. THE BEST CFA in the 757. Hands down! I'd bet my mother, first born child, and a Michael Jordan rookie card on it. Everything about them is better. Last week, I ordered a chicken biscuit with egg for breakfast, and when I opened it up I was SHOCKED at the size of it. I figured this had to be an anomaly, so I went back the next two days for breakfast and NOPE! Not an anomaly! I ordered a chicken sandwich for lunch one of those days and that entire meal was off the hook. My fries were warm and crisp and my when chicken sandwich was so hot that the juice burned my tongue, I did a small praise break in the car. I got my usual lemonade with no ice and yet...it was ICE cold. Every other place gives it to me room temp, and I'm fine with that. But now I've seen the light! It's like when your mom gives you "nature's candy" (raisins) for an after school snack, but then your dad gives you chocolate covered raisins one time. I DON'T WANT REGULAR RAISINS ANYMORE! So I say all that to say this...CFA is the bread of life. CFA and lemonade from this location should be offered for communion instead of the dry bread and wine/juice churches offer. I wish I could improve on my prior review but cannot. I love Chick-fil-A and this is the only one on my route to work. If I did not have the other Chick-fil-A locations to compare I would think this location served great food. The morning biscuits have perfectly cooked chicken but also consistent small pieces of chicken. The biscuits are never baked as golden as they are at the Portsmouth location. Maybe the other food is fine but when I get a morning biscuit here I drive away with an inferior biscuit as compared to my weekend biscuit from the Portsmouth location. read more

I LOVE CHICK-FIL-A!!! However, it sadness's me to leave such a negative review about this particular location. I just left this location very disappointed. I came because I was CRAVING a Chick-Fil-A breakfast...you know the typical one...a chicken biscuit & hash rounds! So I ordered the breakfast meal in the drive-thru. When I arrived to the window; it appeared that there was a lot of disarray going on. Maybe a new hire in training or maybe it was because of the typical morning rush. Who knows but it was CLEAR that it was not as tight a shift as I've seen here before or any other location. So customer service wasn't great to say the least. After paying for my meal I asked for a cup of ice....didn't know they charge for a cup of ice to patrons who have JUST made a purchase?! Ok, no problem & "no thank you" I say & kept it moving. I began to eat my meal and also to my disappointment, my food wasn't to par either. My hash rounds were COLD & my chicken biscuit was OLD! Not trying to pull a Dr. Seuss here but that was REALLY disappointing considering I only LEFT my home to satisfy my craving to begin with. The whole meal wasn't a bust...my sweet tea was decent. Always love this restaurant, especially this location. Visited there recently with my family. Unfortunately we got there at 9:50 (they close at 10) but we were treated like royalty! Hayden (a manager) took our order with a great attitude. But that is not the best part. We decided to dine in, and at 10 the staff began to close. I was quite impressed with their cheery attitudes! The staff began to sing the song closing time as they closed! It was one of the most adorable things I've witnessed. Never has a restaurant treated with such care and respect. I definitely hold Chick-fil-A and specifically this location responsible. They must have such a stable and positive work environment for the employees to be singing whilst they work late. I went to this restaurant on 2/17/20 at 1:20pm. The drive thru was wrapped around the building twice and headed out into the shopping center roads so I went inside. Inside was standing room only. TERRIBLE service. I don't know what has happened in the past few months but it is utter CHAOS inside this location. I was forced to go inside because the line for the drive thru was wrapped around the building. It's not about demand. It's very clear, after going inside to chaos, why the line was wrapped around the building. Disorganized assembly line, young lady checking me out DISTRACTED talking to other people and not taking my order in a timely fashion, and she even got my order WRONG. I rarely give bad review of Chick-fil-a but this location is a logistic and customer service NIGHTMARE. Management, I think you need to implement better training, a streamlined assembly line and try what several other locations have with the customer service professionals outside taking orders and directing cars to the appropriate lines. I think the issue with this one is the closure of the one near Chesapeake Square. I have never experienced what I did during a recent visit before, and I don't think this location is well-equipped for the boost in customer flow or traffic. Just terrible. read more

First, I am big fan of Chick-fil-A, their business model, their hiring, and their beliefs. Just going through the drive through is like a breath of fresh air and hope for the future of our country. And you will experience this at just about every Chick-fil-A. They are friendly, respectful, and competent. You don't get that at the drive through at a McD's any longer. Although I am now vegan, I always loved the chicken and we always had good experiences at Harbour View and the one in Suffolk. The place is constantly cleaned and the staff is always helping customers. What I also liked is that event he kids meals have a good theme and is not just a crappy piece of plastic toy from the latest crappy kids movie. I remember when they had language CDs and books. Amazing marketing and helpful to parents. We will typically come here now to celebrate with milkshakes. The family loves them. The only detractor that I can think of is that sometimes the drive through line wraps around the parking lot and sometimes it is very busy there. Still, the are nice, fast, and patient. Bottom line is that I have NEVER been to a bad Chick-fil-A. read more
