Going to Chick-fil-a is always an adventure, usually a fun one. Today's adventure in Surprise was definitely 5-Star! The food was right as expected. Hot, tasty, and served fast. CFA simply understands the customer experience. Some people go to "Starbux" to get work done. I go to Chick-fil-a. It's bright, clean and there's almost always a table available to work at. I usually have a free food item via their app and the service folks are just downright nice! Today's experience involved Penny who was out in the restaurant keeping things organized and helping customers. I went yesterday with my 2 year old, my friend and her daughter. This location is the worst by far. I'm giving them 2 stars because the play area was well taken care of. The staff look unhappy and low energy. First thing I noticed was one of the girls working there looked depressed and angry. The table we sat at didn't have the sticker with the table code, so I had to get my order at the counter. They never even called my name. I told 2 people about the sticker having coming off and they didn't do anything about it. Chick Fil A always gives a good amount of fries and they overflow into the bag. They gave me the least possible amount of fries, not one in the bag. It didn't feel like a Chick Fil A, at all. I hope that they impliment changes and look into new management. They were pretty slow for a Sat evening, which is incredibly telling. read more

Drove through the drive thru to be talked to by Natalie who was bothered because I didn't order where the intercom was because I wasn't aware that in the mornings sonic doesn't take the orders by person like they always do so I inconvenienced her to take my order on her iPad. Always good food, i can't say their parking situation is the easiest to navigate through, and sometimes you'll need some patience as they get your food ready, but they are friendly. I got my order wrong, but because of the mix up, they made me the right meal, and I also got to keep the wrong order for free!!! It's been well over a year since I last visited chick-fil-a. Partially cause this location had been closed and cause I felt the food service/portion was going down hill. The time away hasn't proved me wrong. I ordered the spicy chicken biscuit combo for curbside pick up. Pick up took a big longer than normal but the young lady that brought it out was super friendly and cheery. The biscuit was soft and yummy but the spicy chicken was sooo tiny! The hash browns were way undercooked and that was very disappointing and to top it off, the coke tasted was watered down, like it had sat in the cup for 20min...close to the time it took to get to my car. All that with the cost around $9. While I like chick-fil-a, I'm not one of those fanatics that will accept this regularly. I have a GC to use up and then I'll prolly take another break. ALWAYS had a good experience here except for some reason as a door dasher this one girl held my door dash order which was 2 shakes. I came into the facility to ask if the order was ready. she mentioned it wasn't. It was very busy so I understood and took a seat. They started to hand out door dash orders and when I noticed they seemed to not be giving out anymore "ready" orders and 5 minutes have passed I asked again. This time the drinks had been sitting out and the shakes didn't look good quality or fresh and looked like they had been sitting out. I was really upset to see my order had been ready, sitting there for some time, held my order and it wasn't for me asking again if it was ready they wouldn't have announced it. The whole team saw me waiting as a dasher. When I asked them why were they holding it. They said it wasn't ready when it was clearly sitting out. I asked why was it back there when I asked for the order and not handed to me. The girl basically skipped me, held my order til they wanted to release to me. Very unprofessional to hold onto orders. I asked why would they hold onto my order they proceed to say it wasn't ready when the shakes looked like they have been sitting out. The guy rolled his eyes at me and looked at the other employees to laugh and roll their eyes as well which really pissed me off since I just want my door dash order and to leave, get the job done. Very disrespectful so I asked to speak with their manger where the girl proceeds to pull the manager to tell her side of the story. When I spoke to the manager she was young and didn't care at all. The line went fast with several staff taking orders. I ordered the #1 classic chicken sandwich with honey mustard sauce. Staff deliver your item with a smile. Such nice people. The chicken was freshly made with 2 pickles. I tossed the bread and ate the chicken. Good flavor and hot. I also tried a waffle fry but I prefer the regular fries. I had made a mistake when ordering through the mobile app and when I got there, they went above and beyond to help me even though it was my fault. London, especially was very patient and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help. So basically they got my order wrong after I said xyz. I typically don't have problems with my order so I drove off with the wrong sandwich. I drive back into the drive though after noticing the mistake and tell the person who took my order the error. She apologizes and says all is good, I try to give her the incorrect order but she says I can keep it out of courtesy for their error and they will make me the right order and that she will let them know. Of course when I get to the window she didn't let them know and i explain again the issue. The manager comes and snatches the bag of food and takes my correct order. I typically don't have a problem with errors like this, I understand their job can be stressful, it just the whole interaction was sort of passive agressive considering it was their error and miscommunication. read more

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal changed up the drink to a strawberry shake. $15. What a rip off! Dry piece of chicken with lettuce. Waffle fries. that were super cold and gross. then I was ready for my shake! I take a sip and of course no strawberry . Went back and found out only thing they did was squirt strawberry flavor in. Food was not up to Chick-fil-A standards. Food was greasy. The biscuit on the chicken biscuit was stale. I ended up throwing it away due to the biscuit being that stale. Chicken itself was on the small size, even for the breakfast portion. It also wasn't very warm. Hash browns were hot. They were lightly crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. Eggwhite grill was sad. Egg and chicken weren't warm enough. They barely started to melt the cheese. Char on the grilled chicken was more like the chicken had been rolled in what had been scraped off the grill. Fruit cup was filled. The sandwiches were terrible, the sides were good. This is the only location that has ever said they can't also prepare lunch items at breakfast time. We usually have one person in our family who wants lunch at breakfast. Other locations say that it is a longer wait time. This isn't a problem, since we are eating in. Here they flat out won't do it. While it looked like a Chick-fil-A, food and service made me feel like I was someplace else. read more

First off the remodel is beautiful! I placed a mobile order for dine in and it took about 10ish minutes once I got there to receive it which was great cause my kids got to play on the playground while I waited. The staff was superb with their friendliness however, I did find a hair in my food. I looked over and no one is wearing hairnets...honestly, any one who is preparing food should be wearing a hairnet for this exact reason. CFA really needs to think about where they place their buildings because parking and getting to a curbside spot is insane. You can't have a short drive thru line or small parking lot that blocks the flow of traffic. It's dangerous and can cause accidents. I was waiting to turn left Into the parking lot and was blocking people behind me from moving so they were going around me and almost hit people that were turning right out of the lot. Visited this location today for lunch and usually everything is great. However, ordered the Grilled Chicken Club and a SunJoy with a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was so hard, I thought I may have needed to visit the dentist. One of the workers came by and I asked if there was a reason the cookies were baked too long and she said she didn't know. My husband ordered one as well and usually asks to speak with a manager whether good or bad, but decided not to. While I was in the drive-thru ordering my food, I had a phone call with some disturbing news that left me in tears. As I was pulling forward to pay my bill the young girl taking the money asked me if I was ok. I said yes thank you. When my food came out to me they handed me a total refund for my order and asked me to be safe driving and that dinner was on them. I was in shock and did not know what to say except for the obvious thank you so much. I asked the managers name and was told it was Caitlin. We are not fast-food fans, especially drive through. Yesterday we were on a tight schedule and were hungry, did the drive through at this location. First, the two ladies that greeted us (not yelling into a box), both had smiles, you could understand them (no turbo talk or language issues), took our order, asked we wanted extra sauce and described the options, repeated our orders back and took the payment. When we got up to the food delivery area, a pleasant man greeted us and handed us our beverages and said the sandwiches would be right out. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. The buns were fresh, not soggy (like they had been sitting in a warmer for a long time), the grilled chicken was warm and moist, the sauce was good, the lettuce fresh. We will be back. read more

I'm very glad this chick fil a is here. Chick fil a has some of the best fast food in the country. Something so simple. A breaded and pressure cooked chicken breast filet on a toasted buttered bun with two slices of pickles. Often imitated but never duplicated. The chicken noodle soup is made in house and you can tell by the taste, it's that good. Fantastic lemonade as well. I don't really get sides here very often but I do enjoy their nuggets. Nobody else offers whole chicken nuggets. Just processed and pressed. Not here though! Nuggets are real chicken. And, while everyone gets anxiety over McDonald's Szechuan sauce, chick fil a has Polynesian. Every day. I miss their lemon nilla wafer pies though. Those were amazing. read more
