Just finished a fantastic Chick fil A meal. Although COVID-19 has slowed down how much I get out for dinning, tonight I was out running errands and swung into Chick fil A. I have to say, responding to COVID-19, these fine folks have the drive through down to a science. They have extended the drive-thru to 2 lanes through a portion of their parking lot and eventually queuing into one close to the takeout window. They are automated and efficient, and this makes the line move at a decent pace. So much so that I even saw employees bringing food out to the cars in front of me before they had to merge into the single line. This allowed them to pull out of line and head on out with their delicious meal(s). And of course, the customer service is the BEST!! So courteous --- "My pleasure!" I don't eat here often enough but when I do I am always impressed by the quality of the food and even more so by the quality of their staff. First, the food was delicious! Second, their employees/staff/team always have genuine smiles about their faces and are super eager to please. What other fast food restaurant offers to bring you a refill of you drink? Seriously?! That's just good old fashioned kindness! Third, It's the only restaurant that I know of where they seem to be constantly clearing/cleaning tables and somehow they look to truly enjoy their work. First time eating at this location . Returned one sandwich due to wrong cheese . Threw the second one away due to wilted lettuce , soggy tomato and hard as a rock bun . Also noticed they have containers on top of trash cans to return unused sauces. Questioned what they do with those sauces was told sanitize and reuse them WHAT !!!!! Pretty sure these high school kids don't go through each package and sanitize and I wonder what the health dept would think of this oh but we were told it's ok with them . The drive thru is set up so there's 2 lanes. Looks like a crazy maze, but it actually works efficiently. They have workers with headsets and they take your order as you drive up to the window. This visit they were really fast. Got my order before I even got to the window. When I did get to the window though, I had to ask for the Chick-fil-A sauce because they only gave me ranch. I've always been a big fan of Chick-fil-A and this location but lately I feel like they have been cheating out on things and trying to nickel and dime customers. I always get the market salad and make it "warmed" chicken and not cold. Well now they don't do that without charging. Just to warm the chicken. And you can't use your salad reward for that either. It's only cold chicken. Just to warm it up in a microwave for 2 seconds. They are also cheaping out on the strawberries, blueberries and apples in the salad. It's straight lettuce with 2 strawberry halves, like 4 blueberries and a few apple pieces and the cold chicken. They hardly put blue cheese on it anymore. You only get a decent amount of you pay more to add more on. Before the regular order was more than enough. Hopefully it changes. Second, possibly third time, I haven't received my reward item when using the app to order and using curbside. I've tried using the app to complain before but they say to go to the restaurant where I had the issue... but I'm already home once I notice. I usually never have a problem so I don't make it a habit to check orders. My orders are usually super accurate! And anyways, I have a newborn and a toddler so it would be a major hassle to go get them all out of the car and go inside and get my free cookie or 5 nuggets. So three stars because even though my orders and customizations to items are usually accurate... I'm not getting my reward items. I order almost exclusively curbside, and my order is usually brought out to me within less than 2 minutes every time. They'll often even be walking out the door to bring me my food before I can even park. I write this review while parked in a curbside pickup space while awaiting my order. I was here for about 90 seconds before someone came out and politely told me that there will be a slight wait for my Mac n Cheese order, and he handed me a gift card for a free signature sandwich of my choosing (about a $7 value) for absolutely free. I was in the area on a Friday night and came here to pick up a quick dinner. The line was incredibly long for the drive-thru, so I found and parked in one of the curbside delivery spots. I placed my order on the easy-to-use mobile app and waited in my car for an employee to bring out my food. It was nice that the app will continually update you on the status of your order so you know when to expect your food to show up. The employee that brought out my order was very friendly and courteous, just as you would expect from any Chick-fil-A. I ordered a cobb salad with grilled nuggets and a medium sized order of waffle fries. To start I would like to say that I'm a chick-fil-a fan and I think this location out did themselves. The story: We decided to have a family Super Bowl Party and made the theme Chick-Fil_A. We placed a catering order the Monday before the super bowl for pick up late Saturday night (due to the restaurant being closed on Sunday. So on Saturday @6 pm I called just to be sure the order would be ready for pick up @11pm (just be fore the store closed), I was told that they did not have my order. Now, it may have been my fault as I never received a confirmation that they received order from the website. So I decided to look through my email and then call them back. Well I did not get a confirmation nor was I charged. And since I did not use my log in there was no record of the order. So I decided to place the order again in hopes that they could get everything ready In time. Now this was over $400 worth of food and I need some of the order cold to warm up the next day for freshness. The lady that answered the phone when I called to check was polite, gracious and professional. She not only stated it would be ready but was able to accommodate my request. After picking up the food, we went home to store it by taking apart the sandwiches so that we could warm them tomorrow. On Sunday I received a call and text from Tracie stating that they realized that we did not receive all of our order (nuggets) and that she is willing to deliver them to our home due to the mistake. NOW THATS SERVICE! We thank the staff and management at the Chick-Fil-A on Margarita Road in Temecula for their great service and correcting an error by going above and beyond. Have been there twice in this month. First time the chicken nuggets was missing but the dip sauce was there. Didn't realize it until got home. They were nice about it and gave us coupons for the nuggets plus dessert. The second time we used the coupons to get the nuggets and dessert. I've never had a bad experience at this restaurant until today! Now, I wont go back here! Made a complaint and we were treated disrespectfully and rudely by Mgr. Shelby and the "vice president" and " evening mgr!" Took my friend for our weekly usual. She was approached by an employee as we got out of the car. (I was driving.) My friend is going blind and hearing impaired. A delightful senior citizen! She was told that the front parking was for curbside(the sign says dine in or curbside) We said we asked previously and was told its ok to park there (also have a disabled parking placard) I tried to resolve this twice and the conversation was unpleasant and dismissive as Shelby said many times that they protect their employees and they had already apologized for the misunderstanding. The employee we complained about was brought to our table where she continued to lie and say she didn't say any of what we repeated and lied and denied the whole incident in the parking lot. It was not a misunderstanding and she lied. Saying we had asked about parking rules. WE DID NOT! She approached us! I would like to speak to the owners! 10/26/2024 I have gone other Chick-fil-A other times different place and I never had a bad experience just the one in Temecula, California, I don't like to complaint but I think it's very rude. If you don't want to service people then don't work servicing people I work at a hospital and I love people and I care for them try to do the best job with a smile everyone in this restaurant looks very angry and frustrated at each other. This is what I see and feel I got there because they open at 6:30 AM I start my shift at the hospital at 7:00AM I place my order and then I drive up to pay and I am held there for 1st 13 minutes next visit 15 minutes and my order has been incorrect both times I really don't even feel like going to that place again. I did talk to the manager and told her what the problem was I asked her if she could replace my meal once I got off of work at 3:30 PM I would bring her that incorrect meal she said no because she would not be there anymore. But someone would be contacting me within 48 hours regarding my complain Want to inform you the girl at the drive up window to pay I've had same girl and she's very rude and unprofessional. Just got home after waiting in the drive thru, realized I was missing a 4 piece chicken strip. I know I should have checked the bag before heading home but the way things are organized in the bag, it makes it a real inconvenience for myself and the people waiting behind.
