Cava has the reputation of being the rich man's chipotle. I ordered a curated chicken and rice bowl rather than pointing at various items. It ender up being a generious portion of highly flavorful food. So is it worth it? Not really unless you have the financial means. It was tasty and worth a splurge. This location benefits tremendously from their location across from the Temecula hospital. This place is busy and they don't have enough seating based on customer volume. Best option is order togo. .

I love CAVA! Tried it in Irvine and fell in love. I was excited when they opened one near me. This standalone restaurant has plenty of parking. There's plenty of seating. I didn't get a greeting on arrival. Service here is lackluster. The only thing going for it is the food which is good! I love that I can get healthy Mediterranean food, Subway style!

We usually order online and pick up to go. Today, our food was pretty much packed in our bowl. There was one time it didn't seem to have much and was loose inside but today was as what I expected as when we eat inside. And it was done in a timely manner. Thank you! 7/9 5:45pm

This was my first time here and invited a good friend here for lunch. It was bright and clean inside but rather small. Thankfully there is an outdoor patio with more tables. It was rather crowded but the line moved at a good pace. I ordered the Greek Salad. It was fresh & delicious! The portions were generous so I had to take half of it to go. My friend had been here before and is a fan. She had the rice bowl and couldn't finish hers either. I will definitely return to try their other offerings! Service was quick & friendly!

First time going here. Price was a little up there for the amount of protein you get. But eating the food felt fresh and tasty. Service was great with the first person asking what we will be having Pita or Bowl, to DJ filling up the drink station. There is a lot of seating but during lunch rush, seating is no where to be found. Felt like it was more expensive than Chipotle, but the food felt to be a cleaner eat. I liked the choices of drinks.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I had a Custom salad and it was decent, however, there were a few negatives that were difficult to overlook. First, it was very salty. Second, the overall portion size was not sizable enough to cost $14. And third, the amount of my selected protein was extremely lacking. Several of the protein types (basically all of them aside from chicken) , cost $3-5 dollars extra (in addition to the $14, I got grilled chicken as my protein). This is another eatery with potential that I wish improved on execution.

I finally got around to going to CAVA. I was looking forward to it because when we walked in the place was busy and almost all tables were taken. I ordered the chicken + rice bowl and the spicy Aleppo drink. I was disappointed with both. Mediterranean food is so flavorful, but my bowl was cold and bland. The chicken pieces were tiny, and rice and sauces had no flavor. The Aleppo drink was nothing special. I don't know if it's just me - they had a steady line the whole time we were there, but I don't see the hype around this place.

I was more impressed with this place than I expected to be and just wish I had tried it sooner. Prices can seem high for fast casual, but their quality and fresh offerings are better than typical fast casual dining and the portions are huge. My husband and I split a bowl with hot harissa pita chips and a drink and we both were full. Sharing the bowl seems best too since the greens may wilt if you try to save for later. This is a new location in the area so all new employees but they were all so nice, patient, helpful, and seemed so knowledgeable already. I can't wait to go back and try different food options.

I am super excited to have a healthy fast food option walking distance from where we live. The eat in space is on the smaller side with a walk thru ordering line where servers make your build to order bowl, and a fountain drink station. It's very nice. There is also some outdoor seating, which really needs some umbrellas to make it more appealing to eat outside, especially during hot days. I ordered online for take out and it was super easy and seamless. I ordered for a 6pm pick up and I walked out the door with my to go order exactly at 6pm! Our meals were two grilled chicken bowls with all the fixings. While it was an okay meal, it was just that--just okay. The chicken didn't have that nicely flavored grilled taste or seasoning, it just didn't wow me. I think I was comparing the meal to what I get at Red Pine Cafe, which is a few blocks away. If you have ever tried a bowl at Red Pine Cafe you will know what I mean. Anyway, Cava is still a good option for a quick, healthy meal. Just. It as good as Red Pine Cafe

I have been a long-time fan of CAVA after trying it at La Jolla and Carmel Mountain locations, so I was excited to hear about the newest location opening up in Temecula. I got my usual bowl with 1/2 greens and rice, 3 choice sauces, grilled chicken protein with everything with toppings and my favorite date vinaigrette. Usually, they pack a lot more in a bowl where the lid has trouble closing but here, there was less food in a given bowl. The flavors were the same as always which was reassuring of their quality control. Don't know why the portion size is much smaller in Temecula, but otherwise it was the same great food that keeps me coming back for more.

The amount of Cava bowls I eat in a month is honestly kind of wild, so I was excited when one finally opened one in Temecula. I'd heard mixed reviews about long waits, which made me hesitate, but I went this week and it wasn't bad at all. There were only a few people in front of me. Service wasn't super fast like a place rushing you out the door, but it wasn't slow either -- they were just more chill about it. Food was good, like always. I customize my bowl every time with my go-to toppings, and everything tasted fresh. Ambience felt clean and modern, exactly what you expect from Cava.

Fresh ingredients! I really liked the purple cabbage

If you wanted a side order with that they charged an extra $4 which was a surprise because it's hard to see the $4 up charge on the menu. However, the french fries were very good so I'm not really complaining about that. The sandwich was very tangy and the meat was dry. The beef shawarma plate that we got first came out with crispy crunchy beef that you could crunch into crumbles in your fingers. I sent it back and the second was cooked better but the flavor was extremely off-putting. There was an excessive amount of sumac on top of the meat, much more than is needed. Also , the taste of wine (I'm assuming it was in the marinade) was very strong. I thought that the baba ganoush I received as a side was very tasty and smoky. It did have a large amount of olive oil floating on the top which was a tad overkill but, still, it was tasty. The presentation of food was impressive. I must say that the service was very good. There was one server that was serving everyone in the entire restaurant and she was really on the ball. There was only one person cooking in the back so food was coming out a little at a time at our table of eight people. Some of us were almost done eating before the last person even got their meal. There were people at our table that got served first. Then we would see food going out to other tables before the rest of the people got served at our table. To me this was a little disorganized and it would really benefit this restaurant if they were a bit more organized and had an extra employee or two for lunch time. I guess the main issue we had was that the food was not good and it wasn't served to all the people at the table in a timely manner. All the food did come out hot thanks to our stellar server. Regarding returning to this restaurant, I do not think I will be returning. We have other Mediterranean restaurants in the area that have better food. A+ for the service and probably C- for the food.

Guess lower my expectations, get delightfully surprised? Either way, the salad was big enough to eat half for lunch and half for dinner/bfast! Gyro portions were also generous and not overly salty or tough. It was actually my son's favorite part of my salad besides of course my pita bread. There was a balance of feta, olives, extremely delicious tomato slices and crispy lettuce topped with slices of red onion. Honestly, it was the type of fresh I needed on a hot day. I had ordered for pick-up on Doordash, and our order was all ready to go - just in time to beat the lunch rush. Seriously though, this place gets crazy around noon. The staff was friendly, and the place itself appeared clean and bright. We sat outside (there's about three tables out in front). Would I come back? Yup! This was well worth the price, the taste was on point, and it satisfied our tastebuds!
