I saw an ad somewhere about this place and bookmarked it because I don't live in the area. I finally got the chance to try it and I wish they had more locations! This casual eatery serves fresh Asian-inspired healthy salads and rice bowls. They even have a Jr bowl for kids. The ambiance was comfortable and welcoming. It's the perfect spot to grab a healthy lunch with friends, colleagues, or even just a quick bite after a workout. This place would do so well next to a busy gym! I ordered the Salmon Mango Avocado salad. It is was so fresh and delicious! It had perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of mixed greens topped with avocado, tomatoes, carrots, red onion, cilantro, green onions, and a spicy lime dressing. It hit all the spots! I can eat this every single day for several weeks straight! The family that runs this place were so sweet and incredibly patient as I was reading the menu trying to decide what to try. Their most popular are the Ahi tuna salad, salmon mango avocado salad, and the Toss'd steakhouse with goddess dressing. They had some pressed juices as well as Thai tea, sodas, and fresh coconut juice. There were a few places to sit for small groups of two or three people. The parking wasn't much of a problem but spaces weren't plentiful when we arrived in the afternoon. Service was great but the food was not. We ordered 3 junior bowls which were not good. Their brisket was awful! My kids did not eat it. The chicken had some flavor but not great. The veggies were dry. We spent $80 and only my husband ate his food because he didn't want to waste food. The place also doesn't have great sitting and it has a funny smell. Toss'd is such a gem! I have been watching people post about them on social media and always wanted to try it but just didn't make time. Today I made a point to try them. I got there at 5:30, they close at 6, and I was greeted with warm smiles and the most helpful people. I love this place is truly geared towards healthy eating. I got the bahn mi and the bang bang shrimp burrito. Both were amazing. They also suggested the fresh coconut water with coconut meat. It was so refreshing and the meat was incredibly tender. Their prices are also totally fair for the fresh ingredients, catering to GF, vegetarians and vegans. The customer service is enough for me to return, but the flavorful food is the cherry on top! My husband ordered the chicken satay rice paper wrap that came with peanut sauce, also came with wonton crunchy strips. It looked like a big wrap like a big burrito, mostly vegetables not a lot of chicken. My husband said it was tasty. $13 I ordered a rainbow poke bowl. It was delicious with spicy mayo and ginger dressing. My bowl had salmon, alfalfa sprouts, avocado, edamame, cucumber, and something like radish. In my opinion, my bowl was kinda small for what I paid for $18. This is my reason for not giving them a five star. Sorry, I'm used to Poke Port in Menifee because price was lesser and bigger portion and just as good. Our meal came with soup of the day and we had tom ka soup. Great find on Vegan food! This place sits in the corner of Winchester & Jefferson in Temecula. The place was clean, with great service and I like the decor. There's a really nice big wooden table in the middle and I noticed lots of large cans of coconut stacked (so I figured a lot of the menu base is Thai?). The avocado wrap was excellent (added tofu), and it came with chips and a sauce (also vegan). We had a very satisfying lunch, and when I asked for a "to-go" bag, what got me was how the woman asked me if she wanted me to wrap it up for me. Wow! Full service restaurants just hand you containers and say "how many do you need?" Lol. This is what service is all about! Thank you for that! On our way to Murietta Hot Springs we wanted something healthy. Toss'd satisfied that! We had bang bang shrimp and chicken satay burritos both wrapped in rice paper with Thai iced tea. Mine had coconut milk and hubby had regular milk in his tea. Burritos were big, fresh and delicious! Sauces on the side were plenty and delicious. Where do I even start? Parking is shared by other small businesses around, however, As soon as you walk in, it's an open atmosphere with tables and chairs. You're immediately greeted by a friendly face. You order as if you're at Chipotle or Cava. When you look through the glass, you see an array of fresh vegetables ready for you to choose from. They have a variety of protein for both vegans and omnivores. As a vegetarian, I chose tofu (which they season and sauce up). Depending on what you put on it, you will be full. I cannot be more thankful that I paid for what I can consider lunch and dinner.
