Worth the drive out here! No matter what location I've been to, they've always gone above and beyond. Always a solid "fast food" bet. Line goes by fast, they come up to your car to place orders. Definitely got a large waffle fry to last me on my drive back. We also went with spicy chicken sandwiches (plain is FIRE, so good), coffee, lemonade and a mocha cold brew. Everything was really good. Surprised even the black coffee was brewed well, great caffeine kick. Mocha cold brew a little too sweet but probably because al the syrups at the bottom. And the lemonade was perfectly sweet (unless you don't like sweet.. then you might make a sour lemon face at it lol) No photos of food cuz it was THAT GOOD. Food- the food was fresh and delicious! The sandwich was crispy. Fries were crispy. The chick-fil-a sauce makes everything taste even yummier! The peppermint shake was a nice holiday treat! I have always like Chick-fil-A...but now I REALLY like Chick-fil-A! I never thought of Chick-fil-A as a breakfast place but now I will absolutely consider it one of my favorites. Their egg white grill is incredible tasty and healthy! The parfait is light and yet delicious. And the grilled chicken bowl was my wife's favorite! Secondly, but maybe most important, the service was incredible. 3/30/2024 Dine in - The girl who took our order was rude and rushing. Wouldn't let us finish our sentence when ordering before trying to blurt out " is that it?" Then she didn't want to give us our receipt. When our order came up the food was soggy and barely warm. Then had to go up to get side of pickles that we ordered and she was rude again and just walked away not saying anything. So I had to ask another person to get them. Love this place!! I started ordering delivery from this location recently and it's sooo bomb! The food delivery always comes super fast (like 20-30 minutes) after I put in the order. They also never mess up my order and get it correct 100%. The food quality is fresh and hubby & I absolutely love their spicy chicken sandwiches. We always get the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich. They also give you a protein option that doesn't have buns, and it's cheaper that route too. We love both!! I also really like their dipping sauce they provide when your order fries. Yum! Being from Davis, this is our go-to CFA. I have two little ones who love the play place, and of course, the waffle fries and ice cream. Sometimes they also want to eat CFA sauce straight out of the container using their fingers. CFA is excellent when it comes to having kids. They have Purell wipes or hand sanitizer near the play place entrance. They offer disposable plastic placemats that adhere to the dining table, making an instant clean surface for baby to eat off of. They actually clean off each high chair in between use, so you're not placing your baby on old crumbs and grease. CFA excels at customer service and cleanliness. Their food gets a solid five stars as well. My go-to is a regular chicken sandwich with Honey Roasted BBQ sauce packets. A warm, breaded, fried, fresh piece of chicken on a buttered bun with two pickles. So simple, so good. Eat it with a side of waffle fries (the bigger, the better, because they'll disappear so fast). If you still have room, get a cookies n cream milkshake. It's creamy perfection with bits of chocolate cookie, topped with whipped cream and a cherry; need I say more? Oh, sweet delicious food that is a good 20 minute drive from Davis. As for their service during COVID19, they're up and running with delivery, to-go, and drive thru. We came on a Thursday afternoon and the drive thru line was incredibly long. We opted to place a mobile order to "carry out," parked, and walked in, quickly getting our food. I want to submit a formal complaint about the treatment I received from Chick-fil-A whilst on duty as a Dasher. The incident occurred Thursday July, 30th, 2020    I received a Dash alert for a pickup from Chick-fil-A and arrived at the restaurant at approximately 2:50pm today. The information I received from the Doordash app on my smartphone stated--clearly, that the order assigned to me was to be picked up by a Dasher at 2:56pm. I waited. While waiting, I received a text from the customer (Allie F.) At 3:15pm. I stayed in contact with the customer via text throughout this incident. I have the text messages in my possession currently and I will attach screenshots of the entire conversation between myself and the customer on a separate email sent to the same location. At around 3:28 a Chick-fil-A employee approached me in my vehicle while I was parked in one of Chick-fil-A's designated food delivery service parking spot. This was my first interaction with a Chick-fil-A employee since arriving at the restaurant. Keep in mind my arrival time (2:50pm) and the time the order was to be picked up (2:56pm). It was at this time that I took the opportunity to inquire about the order I was there to receive and eventually deliver to the customer as well as express my minor annoyance with the fact that I had witnessed 4 other Dashers arrive after me, receive their orders, and leave before me. [She] The Chick-fil-A employee told me that the order would be "coming up soon." At 3:43pm I texted the customer [Allie]:  "I've counted 7 cars come and gone after I got here... Cant help but think it's personal"  The same Chick-fil-A employee approached me in my vehicle, which did not move untill the conclusion of this incident. She told me that the customer cancelled the order, to which I replied, "I've been in constant contact with the customer this whole time. They [customer] said they didn't cancel the order." The Employee replied shortly, "I guess I'll go ask someone about the order." At 3:47pm the Chick-fil-A employee returned to me in my vehicle and told me: "Another Dasher already picked up the order so its not a Chick-fil-A problem, it's a Doordash problem." She turned on her heels and went back inside the restaurant. At 3:49pm I placed a call to doordash at [855-973-1040] that lasted 10 minutes and 41seconds. I was transferred to the "Live Dash" department and in the call I detailed the incident to the operator. The operator called the previous Dasher who picked up from Chick-fil-A to ascertain whether or not that Dasher had picked up my order as well as theirs. I was placed on hold during this time. When the operator returned, he informed me that the previous Dasher did not pick up the order that I was at Chick-fil-A for. From there, I concluded that one of two things had surely happened:  1.) Chick-fil-A had lied about the status of the order twice and intentionally and maliciously made me wait for well over an hour to receive an order to be delivered which I interpret to be DISCRIMINATION and HARASSMENT against me. 2.) Chick-fil-A gave out a Doordash order to an unauthorized person and neglected to verify the identity of the fraudulent Dasher. At 3:57pm the doordash operator called Chick-fil-A to sort things out. When the operator returned he told me "Chick-fil-A said they're unable to process the order at this time. I will cancel this delivery and you will be compensated for half of the original pay for this delivery." At 4:00pm I attempted to give the customer one final update on the status of their order and to give them my sincere apology for the hassle.  I'm not sure whether or not the customer received that final text message. read more

I gave the review 4 stars ONLY bc they ran out of Mac n Cheese earlier that day. I entered the drive thru around 5pm. The line wasn't long. The host was friendly upbeat, per usual. All i wanted was macaroni. She said they ran out earlier and had to check to see if they had gotten anymore. I know other chain of restaurants who run out of items but I didn't know this happened here. Plus i was in the drive through and would have been stuck in line. She didn't have a walkie talkie so she had to shout over to someone and they had to ask the kitchen. They DID have macaroni and it tasted AMAZING as always. 5 STARS for the mac 5 stars for the seevice. 4 stars knowing they run out early in the evening and customers could be stuck in the drive through lane. read more
