When I got home they were both the same. The fries were also not the freshest. Right about an hour later I get a cold order and no drinks. The receipt says fulfilled by Grubhub. Contact GrubHub they tell me I have to contact Yelp. I could not believe the experience tonight Sunday 12/14. I ordered 2 burgers and a kids meal. Mind you it was over $35 that not even meals for both. Once the order said ready, I went up. I asked the worker they said her name was Maria if this was the cup for my soda, she could not even turned around. I then said can I have this cup for my soda. She said " you already touched it so you can take it" and turned back around. Mind you this place was not busy. Then I asked her for ranch she looked at my food and said is this yours I shared yes, she said ranch is 70cents. I said not a problem. I proceder to the register to pay, this employee was so disengaged, rude and disrespectful. After I paid for the ranch and her bad attitude I just asked for it money back, she laughed and went to the manager that was on the grill and explained her side of the story to her, when someone needs to explain there story before they hear the other side, she knows she was in the wrong. The manager took the tray off the counter threw it in the garbage all this in front of me and my kids and said how can I help you, she took my number and name. There is better places and cheaper to deal with this place: you can go to five guys across the street, in/out over the overpass, or even burger city mile down the road. 2 weeks ago my boyfriend, my daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat before hitting the road. I ordered the Santa Barbara Char(not pictured) and Tempura Green Beans. The Santa Fe Char was amazing, one of the best I've had from their locations and their Tempura Green Beans are just incredible! Yes even better than their fries, would highly recommend what I ordered! Initially I'm thinking this might be the spot. They have an ordering Kiosk, clean inside and the food smells good. Boy was I wrong. They need to place a warning on the menu that items appear smaller than they look in person. The burger, meh, the roasted cauliflower, overcooked and soggy! No flavor. Here's the sticking point. I ordered a shake with no whipped cream. The guy makes it, sees I said no whip and asks if he can scoop it off. I'm usually reasonable but I say no, I actually want a new one. The machine ran out of mixture and they say they will make a new one and bring it to me. After 15 minutes and no shake, I ask for a refund. They can't do it from the kiosk and have to have their corporate office do it. Unfreaking believable! Never again! read more

The double char was so over cooked it was like eating sand with mayo lettuce and tomato on a bun. These guys started out rough then they got better to the point where they got my business back steady every other week at least, but yesterday's grilled chicken sandwich was a disaster filled with enough teriyaki sauce that the bottom bun was inedible, couple that with the sand burger and there goes $30.00 dinner down the drain. We got the family deal which is very nice to get for char burgers for like $25 which is annoying. I also added on the chicken crispy chicken sandwich. The crew member at register was polite and the restaurant seemed clean. The food arrived well put together, looked appetizing, and was hot and fresh. Why three stars? It may be a small detail but when the order was delivered there were no markings on the wrapper to indicate which was the regular burger and which was the Impossible burger. They had identical toppings so they looked virtually the same. We logically thought that the Impossible went with the side it was ordered with (tempura green beans, yum!), but the crew member paired the sides with the opposite sandwiches, to boot! Without some marking, it was "Impossible" to tell the difference. I'm a "flexitarian" who chooses non-meat options when available, and it wasn't a big deal for me because the food was yummy, but for more strict customers who may have stronger reasons, these things should have some standard way of showing the difference. Yummiest all american fast food joint I have ever been to. This place has American sit down restaurant quality dishes at a fast food price and speed. I have been here twice, both of road trips. Both times got something alone the lines of the ahi tuna sandwich, the tempura green beans, and the garden salad. So so yummy, and affordable! I would recommend to get the tempura green beans no matter what else you get. It's the type of offering you see at fancier joints for $7, and its just $3.50 here. Delicious!
