I know the previous reviews were less than pleasant, but my experience here was amazing. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. They all had smiles. Our server was very patient with us as we took forever to order since we kept changing our mind on what to order. Upon ordering, the food came out promptly. The server was incredibly friendly. Since it was such a nice day and my dog was with us, we decided to eat outside. What I didn't know was the tables outside were locked originally, but when the manager saw my mother-in-law with my dog he unlocked them for her so she could sit with him. I thought that the small gesture was incredibly thoughtful and is what captures why I love Chick Fil-a. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal with chicken tenders. The chicken was perfectly cooked with a crispy outside with incredibly moist chicken meat inside. The veggies were fresh and the cheese melted everything perfectly. The fresh fries paired perfectly with all the sauces (buttermilk ranch was my favorite, while everyone else loves the Chick Fil-a sauce). I also loved how all the sauces including ketchup were so well wrapped and perfectly packaged. I would def make the drive back here again and again. read more

Im giving them 2 stars because every time I come I never get my order right, I feel sometimes picky but what I ask for is so simple, it's an extra cheese.. and I just never get it?.. yeah its just a cheese. Second time trying this place after two years and it's still mediocre. Not sure what the fuss is over this place. The chicken is decent in flavor and mac and cheese okay but nothing special. Super wilted lettuce on the chicken sandwich and overall the whole thing was dry. Dont get me started on the portion size of the nuggets and strips. One of my favorite "fast food" places to go to. I was so glad that it finally opened!! We came here last weekend to get our usual order of the chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, classic chicken nuggets, and large waffle fries. They were so busy and the place was pretty packed! Quality did not disappoint with the sandwiches and nuggets, always my favorite and made well. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the fries. We took the order to go but normally the fries would be still be quite warm, especially since the drive was only 15 mins. Unfortunately, the fries weren't crispy enough! Yeah, I really wasn't going to put this location on blast because k know it hasn't been that long since they've opened. I've been there over a handful of times and they still haven't gotten it right . Long lines , incompetent workers and best of all burnt food ! I didn't realize how disgusting chick fil A could be until I've had my biscuit over cooked on my sandwich . And last but not least , most recently my scorched my chicken nuggets . When I opened the box it looked like Santa sent me a bunch of lumps of coals . I had the grilled chicken sandwich and all I say is wow, I was really impressed with how well it tasted (seasoned perfectly) and the very friendly service. They have two drive through lines, and they keep everything straight by asking for your name. Don't be intimidated if the queue seems long. It's rarely a daunting wait. The classic chicken sandwich here is incredible. It's straight and to the point. Just buns, chicken, and pickles. The chicken is so juicy you'd swear there was dressing. I'm pretty sure there isn't, though. The grilled chicken nuggets come highly recommended. Give them a dip in the signature sauce. All of the sauce here is good, as a matter of fact. It's the one place from which I will actively stash unused sauce. These are also great for their amazing waffle cut fries. Monday through Saturday only. So plan accordingly. read more

Chick-fil-A, I want to love you, but I can't right now. This is a review strictly about their catering service, or lack thereof. A few a days ago, while we were dining in, I had an idea to order a platter of my daughters favorite chicken nuggets for her upcoming birthday. I was able to speak to a manager and got it settled. She got my information and told me that they will not charge my card until someone calls me the day of to confirm my order. Day of comes by. A half hour before pick up time comes by. No call. So I decided to go there to check in since I was out running errands anyway. I speak to someone (mistake number 1: always ask for the name of the person assisting you), told her that I had a catering order to pick up at 8:30. I told her that I realize I'm early, but I wanted to check in to make sure the order went through since I didn't get a call for confirmation. She walked to the back so she can check in, and then said that they did receive my order and that they were working on it. She came back kind of quick, so I asked her "just making sure: its for an order of 120 chicken nuggets right?" And she said yes. I said great and asked if I should just wait around or come back at the expected pick up time in half hour. She said it would be best to just come back. So i went home since I don't live far, and had my husband go pick it up. 45 minutes pass and he's still not home, so I called him and he said that #1, no one came to ask if he's been helped, #2 it wasn't ready yet by the time someone acknowledged his existence. He said the order didn't go through yet because they haven't charged my card? I was told they will charge it once the order was confirmed and again, I did not get a call PLUS I physically went in to confirm it for myself. Look, I've worked in the restaurant and retail industry, and I can be VERY understanding when it comes to wait times because I get that unforeseen circumstances happen. But come on... my order didn't come out until almost an hour after the expected time and no one thought to update us? I wasn't there but my husband said that the manager on duty wasn't very helpful either. They just sent him home with a huge bag of fries and called it a day. I ordered nuggets the day before the party because they aren't open on Sundays. They said I can just warm it up. I didn't order fries because they specifically told me that they wouldn't be good the next day lol. Okay, I love Chick-fil-A however, the chicken sandwiches and nuggets have been more on the salty side, seems like the recipe changed in 2020. In 2019, the chicken was more sweet/buttery and not very salty, which made them #1. Not sure if the seasoning changed or the way the chicken is processed. Also, I noticed that the fries are not always crispy, as if they are half cooked. Hopefully, 2021 will be better as I really don't want to put Chick-fil-A at the bottom of my list. We were excited to see a new chick-fil-a location on our route home from SF Giants games and then totally unexcited to discover that we will never be returning to this location. We went through the drive-thru and the gal taking our order sounded like someone had killed her puppy before she arrived at work. Her "lines" sounded forced and insincere and not the typical "peppy cheeriness" that we are used to from chick-fil-a employees. The gal at the window was short and to the point and acted like the only important thing was getting us out of her drive-thru. Side note: As we looked through the drive thru window we noticed it appeared as if everyone on staff had just graduated middle school without an adult in sight Then came the food. First off the milkshake was half liquid. Second... The fries were stale and tasted as if they had been stored underneath my drivers seat for two weeks before being packaged for consumption. Lastly... The chicken... It appeared as though after steeping my chicken in a Vat of grease and salt water they promptly placed the sandwich in the drive-thru Lane to be run over before handing it to me. The store owner helped us at the cash register. He was so friendly and polite and professional. We had breakfast here with the kids before we took off on a road-trip. It worked out wonderfully because they were serving lunch or breakfast so we all were able to order exactly what we wanted. I got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich. Really good. And a large coffee. It's nice because they have French vanilla or Hazel nut creamer you can add to your liking to flavor it. It was the perfect stop because the kids could run and play in the kids play area to stretch and burn off some energy before we hit the road. THis is one of the gems vallejo had been missing for a while. I usually order drive through as they have two lanes but it gets pretty crowded towards dinner hours. The food is always fresh snd the staff is always friendly. During really busy hours the drive-thru will have a staff take order from a mobile register (like in-and-out) for quicker service. This is the age of the internet, so I went to the Chick-fil-A website, navigated through their unnecessarily complicated menu system and left a request - accompanied by an image of my receipt - in the customer service section. Two days later, I received an automated message acknowledging my entry... then nothing. In this day and age, with the high cost of gas, no one drives back to a drive-thru for a missing item. As a customer, I gave the business owner the opportunity to make things right. In identical situations, I've received gift certificates from Carl's Jr. and Panda Express. Panera Bread credited my Panera account. No fuss, no muss and a perfectly reasonable resolution. But not at Chick-fil-A. Simply put: the restaurant took my money, failed to deliver the product and said "it must suck to be you". As evidenced by the long lines, this is a very popular, successful and profitable franchise. If I could give zero stars I would... this has been the worst experience ever! Placed a big order at 650ish pm and waited almost an hour to get my order for curbside pick up!. The representative in line accused me of paying with counterfeit money. I asked why did he assume my bill was fake and he said he had never seen an old bill before. I informed him that if he used his counterfeit checkpoint for bills he could tell that the bill is in fact real. The bill in question is literally just 5 dollars. But it is the principal. The bill is not fake and I will bring it into any location to prove it. Employees should receive proper training on how to differentiate real and counterfeit bills. I've always been a huge fan of Chick-fil-A and have frequented this location many times while living in Vallejo. Their service has been prompt and friendly throughout all of my visits, and their food has been delicious! My favorite menu item is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Chick-fil-A sauce. If I'm feeling a little healthier, I'll go with a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which is still very tasty and leaves me feeling not as guilty by the end of my meal. I have also tried their chicken noodle soup and tortilla soup, both of which are great for a cold winter night! Also, be sure to register an account on their mobile app to obtain rewards points. They also have a Cow Calendar every year that comes with a rewards card that grants you a free item each month. The calendar practically pays for itself after two months of freebies!
