*COVID curbside review: Chick fil a in general does a fantastic job with giving great service to their customers. I have been to this location a couple times to just dine in a while back when they first opened and I think they were still trying to get the hang of handling the Tyson's crowd. This review is based on the curbside service and it was great. Through the app order was placed it was very easy! Put in your number of where you are parked in the curbside parking (example we were in #2) then also place in your vehicle info. The whole process only took 5 minutes. No need to wait long, they had about 2 employees run the curbside pickup and they were very careful and I was happy to see them take all the necessary precautions. We would do curbside here again as it was the most efficient service we have experienced during this period. read more

Ordered curbside here and luckily I opened my food before leaving: the fries were absolutely gross. Soggy and greasy. And this is after I waited 18 minutes for a simple chicken sandwich meal. I call the manager and tell him both issues w/ the fries and time and he just says "sorry." So I literally had to almost beg him to rectify the issue- fresh fries, a gift card, SOMETHING. I stopped in here early on a saturday morning for some taters and diet lemondade. Taters were crisp and hot and the lemonade was cold and tart. Excellent! The store is a little small. This is by far the worst chick fila I have ever been to. My milkshake order was no cherry and extra Oreos. It had a cherry on it. I tell the lady I had no cherry and that I'm allergic. This place was amazingly well organized! My food was ready before I even swiped my credit card! People were walking around handing out Purell wet wipes and would even refill your drink if you wanted! Chick. Fil. A. Is. The. Bomb. Seriously, this chain is amazing and I've never been let down by the food quality at any location. I don't come often because the prices are higher than I'm comfortable with for fast food, but when I do visit it's always delicious! I came over Labor Day weekend to redeem the free breakfast item using the restaurant's app. I can't remember if there's a more breakfast-sounding name for it, but I got the breakfast bowl. It's a very small bowl of chicken, eggs, cheese and hash browns not dissimilar to the bowl KFC offers. It was pretty good for a snack, but I still wouldn't go to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast. I also ended up getting a deluxe spicy chicken sandwich because the breakfast bowl piqued my stomach's interest and I couldn't help but fall for the trap. It was AMAZING! Still think it's pretty ridiculous to be called "deluxe" for simply having lettuce and tomatoes, but whatever. Staff was friendly, premises was clean, chicken was delicious. I'm giving this location 2 stars because they are very inconsistent and I'm there often enough to notice this issue. This location has a bit of an awkward layout which doesn't help the flow of customers placing or waiting for an order. The staff members are nice--often they will walk around and offer drink refills, hand wipes, or mints. However, the food quality is not consistent at all. Sometimes I have a great experience and everything is well made and nicely presented but most of the time this is not the case. For example, my recent entrée order had lettuce that looked positively repulsive and they also completely forgot my beverage and I had to ask for it. Additionally, sometimes the fries seem undercooked or not overly fresh. Overall, the staff is friendly but due to the frequent inconsistency in quality I probably wouldn't highly recommend this location. read more

I have been to a dozen other locations in Washington metro area , this location in the heart of Tyson's corner by far the worst in customer service , missing orders and or giving the wrong order to the wrong guests , staff are missing the proper training it seems , it's not just one but from the cashier to the manager . Major app and management fail. I love the app because you can order and have the food ready and waiting when you arrive. Except when the management is horrible and they make you wait 11 minutes after you confirm arrival. "We were waiting on the chicken strips" says the manager. Huh? For 11 minutes? He had the opportunity to comp the meal and make me feel like he cared. But he didn't care. So much for the high standards and values this chain is supposedly all about. It's strategically located on Leesburg Pike in a good strip mall adjacent from corporate offices as well as the near one of the Silver Line Stations. Anyhow, this is a good stop if you want good fast food. You cannot go wrong with their Chicken Sandwiches, their waffle fries, and cookie sundaes. Good stuff. read more

The lines sometimes may be long and I don't know if everyone agrees but the anticipation to have your hands on that chicken is worth the wait! Everything is good - especially if it's fried! I've had the salads, the sandwiches (minus spicy), the nuggets and the tenders, and of course, THE BEST WAFFLE FRIES EVERRRRR! I want to start off by saying. Some restaurants that are chains, fast food or not. You go for the food. Service. The way the employees treat you and how the company trains them can be all over the board. With Chick-Fil-A the culture is different. The company must have a way they look for a certain type of person to work for them, that will live up to the companies values is unprecedented. I had never, (until this time) EVER gone into ANY Chick-Fil-A that I had been treated any different than any other Chick-Fil-A by any employee until now... The food is great. They always take care in preparation and taste. You can go into any other fast food and order fries or anything fried and the taste will vary depending on the clean cycle of the oil. Sometimes it tastes really good, other times, it tastes off from the old, burnt oil... Then there is Chick-Fil-A... No matter what day, what time of day you go. Anything fried, will taste consistent. So for the quality of the food and the preparation, I give all Chick-Fil-A's (including this one 5 stars) Oh, but you see I give this one a single star... Thats correct... This is because of the supervisor in the dark color shirt, don't know his name, wish I did, but he is the super star recipient of the 1 star, and thats being generous. What thing I like about this Chick-Fil-A is, since its not a drive through, they offer curbside pickup. I use it on occasion. I usually go inside. They also now offer take out. You order online. They have a bookshelf instore and then when you get there, you let the app know your there, and you walk in, stand there and they call out your name and give you your food, or place it on the shelf if you do not answer. I ordered take out (2nd time) As I walked in the store, I saw them placing food on the bookshelf. From the beverages it looked like it may be mind. But they placed in on a shelf that did not match my name. So I looked at the Ticket and it was for an "Eric" my name is not Eric, so I stood there and waited. 10 minutes past... Still no food, and still no "Eric" that food was still there. I waited a few minutes more and after almost 15 minutes I talked to an employee and mentioned I had been waiting for almost 15 minutes for my food, and that there was food there for "Eric" that had been sitting there the entire time I was there, and thought maybe "Eric" picked up my food by mistake. This is where the supervisor comes to play. The person spoke to the supervisor, he came over. I briefly explained, I had been there about 15 minutes, "Eric's" food had been sitting there the entire time, and "Eric" may have taken my food by mistake. He asked me what I ordered, and could see from the beverages, it was similar, a shake and a tea... Then he asked what food I ordered and I told him what food I had ordered. The supervisor looked in the bag, then looked at me and asked me if I looked at the food? And I said no... This is for "Eric" and I was not going to manhandle the food as I would not want anyone poking through my food. Supervisor... I think you may have called in sick the day they thought respect and caring about customers and customers food. Maybe they have an online course you can take as a refresher.. I know I am not being nice... But as they say on TV... BUT WAIT!!! THERE IS MORE!!! He said, I think this is your food. Asked me again what I ordered and said, yes this is your food.. THEN... HE... WALKED... AWAY!!!.... So, that is my food... Great!!! BUT!!! It had been sitting there FIFTEEN MINUTES!!!! And that was NOT MY FAULT!!! Who ever gave the employee the ticket with "Eric's" name on it, is to fault... There was no, I am sorry sir, let me take this back and get you fresh food. HE WALKED AWAY!!! I stood there for a moment watching this supervisor go back behind the counter, hoping that he was going to work on getting me fresh food. But he went on helping other customers... Now. The shining star, and the person who I had talked to at first, he is the reason there is a star, because he shined... I could tell he was surprised at the supervisors actions and could see my look of shock and surprise that I had over the supervisors response. He walked away and came back and offered me a free shake. I am sorry. Chick-Fil-A, if your going to offer a service like this, you need to have policies in place in the PROPER way to handle issues like this. Because mistakes will happen. And when they do, its how you handle them.. I was in a good mood and I was fine. If the supervisor would have said, oh wow, sorry about that sir, let me take this back and make you fresh food and it would be right now, I would have been happy... Why.. This is Chick-Fil-A.. They always go out there way to give discounts and work with local Dept for toy drives and other charities. There was a gentlemen sitting at his table alone and a manager came out and started yelling at the top of his lungs that the man had to get the hell out of there. All of this because the gentlemen is a homeless/panhandler but regardless if he was a clown or a damn bird, he was a paying customer & he was sitting outside. at no point should anybody, let alone some stupid fast food manager be yelling at somebody as subtle and kind as that man. This might be the quickest service I've ever received at any Chick-fil-A ever!!! I placed my order for the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich (a classic) and a small side of the mac and cheese (first-time trying!) and before I could blink, my order was ready! The sandwich was delicious per usual: crisp and juicy chicken, a soft and buttery bun, and a single pickle, which knocks it out of the park! The mac and cheese was surprisingly good! I'm a major baked macaroni and cheese critic, so I didn't know what to expect with a fast food version, but the creaminess and that baked layer of cheese on top really set it off! They kept this dish simple and I'm okay with that. Honestly, Chick-fil-A can do no wrong in my eyes! Lol. I've been to practically a million locations across the county and I usually have a great experience, but with the unbelievably fast service and tasty food at this restaurant, I had to give them a shoutout!!! So let me give you some context on this situation.... ..A couple nights ago, I pulled into the Chick-fil-A parking lot for the 3rd... maybe 4th time that week (but who's judging.. ). Backstory: I have been going through a Seinfeld bender, just absolutely laughing my ass off until I hit Season 5 Episode 13 - The Dinner Party and well.... enough said... I giggled myself up quite the appetite. So anyway, as I was saying - I roll into Chick-fil-A, and let me forewarn you that my appetite was ... a bit... supplemented... to say the least and I think my All-Star Chick-Fil-A employee was able to catch the vibes and immediately come to the rescue. Now, when I say All-Star Chick-fil-a employe, I'm referring to none other than Mr. Fernando who works at the register at this particular Chick-Fil-A off Leesburg Pike. Now, Chick-Fil-A management, Listen Up! You're probably wondering what could an employee possibly do to deserve such praise (aside from possibly giving me a lifetime supply of chicken nuggets and milkshakes). Well, it wasn't the fact that Fernando was extremely kind and polite as all the Chick-Fil-A cashiers were. It wasn't how Fernando patiently waited as I came to a final decision on my order... no not just that... Now, a brief intermission to point out a few facts about leaving Chick-Fil-A. Sometimes, its extremely difficult to leave... not because the food is so good (although it is) but because I often order so much that I cannot possibly carry it all out by myself. We're talking nuggets, sandwiches, waffle fries, a drink, a milkshake for dessert, and most importantly... the SIGNATURE SAUCES!!! Back to my story... I am sitting there as my food is being handed to me one after the other... milkshake first, then the nuggets and sandwiches, then the bag of fries... I had foreseen this struggle in my last couple trips over the past week to the beloved Chick-Fil-A..... Only this time, this time I had vastly over ordered and my sauce variety was unmatched. What was I to do? This milkshake was going to go all over the place at any second, and in an attempt to save it I might just lose the nuggets... Fernando to the rescue!!! Fernando did me a solid, Fernando went out of his way to gather me a separate bag to carry my sauces in. He very diligently asked which sauces I wanted and how many. He then came from behind the counter and helped personally hand me my sauce bag as well as conveniently placing my drink and milkshake into a drink holder. Let me just say, this was the easiest and most convenient trip to Chik-Fil-A all week... it made my Seinfeld watching experience magnificent and I thoroughly believe that Fernando is the reason I enjoyed Season 6 so much. Very disappointing experience. I ordered online for pickup. At the door, an employee told me they were cleaning the store and they would bring the order to me in my car. I went to my car and moved it, parking it in a different spot. Sat for 15 minutes, while two cars next to me were delivered food. Went into the restaurant, where my food was waiting. I told two employees of the situation. Neither apologized or offered anything to make it right. Decided to check this location out as it's been quite a long time as I have ever gone again to a CFA location. I went after work with my child and I was an awe as I will state again it's been a few years also with a child bare with me trying to see what would they like as they never had tried anything from this place. Some gentleman mid 20's the least I would say asked if I needed help and I'd acknowledged him and said I needed a moment. Soon enough after sometime contemplating I ordered with a girl named Monica. I must say she was nice and always ended with a my pleasure. Would I return there again? I would possibly say sure but probably for a kids meal and a spicy deluxe but possibly as a treat. Brand new location (first one in Tyson's), and there's a lot of potential here. The staff is friendly and personable, and that is really 90% of the battle. Never had a bad experience coming in here so far. Being a brand new store, everything is really clean and modern and bright.
