First start off by saying I love Chik Fil A, the food, service is always top notch at all the locations I have ever been to except for this location. This location is suffering. I've now experienced missing items in my order, having to pull forward just to see the three cars that were behind me get their order before me, and just yesterday my large order of fries was missing about 1/2 the fries. No apology for making me wait, missing orders, or lacking what I had ordered. Chick-Fil-A corporate needs to come to this location and straighten them out and get it together because this location sucks. Over my three years of avoiding meat, the only meat-centered meal I REALLY ever craved was a spicy chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A. Once I went back to the dark side, this was the first meal I enjoyed to break my fast and boy was it worth it! Fast forward several years later, I'm still a big fan, so when I saw that a new location was going up right off the 78 I was ecstatic. Today, about 2 months after they first opened, I finally got a chance to swing in for lunch. The drive-thru was slow moving, but the friendly service from Elijah was a plus. Once I finally got close to the window, another employee brought out my bag of food but I had to inform her that she forgot my drink, which she promptly returned with. Finally, the moment I had been waiting for had arrived...*drumroll*...I barely made it around the corner and up to the stoplight to get onto the freeway before I sank my teeth into my beloved sandwich. Alas, my first mouthful had an awful rubbery feel. I spit the bite out and attempted a different angle... same texture, same disgusting mouthful. I opened the bun to examine what I was working with and the breading was completely soggy and peeled off with the bread, exposing a naked, dry, rubbery chicken breast. I again tried another bite, desperate to curb the craving I had had just minutes prior, and much to my dismay the whole thing was bad. I almost turned around and probably would have had I not had my grumpy toddler in the backseat, already way past due for her afternoon nap. I took a photo of the carnage (I'll spare you the nasty image) and intend on emailing customer service after this review posts. It's totally understandable for a new location to get its flow dialed in and to work out any kinks they may have, but 2 months into it I would expect at LEAST an edible chicken sandwich from a chicken sandwich joint. Was super excited this location was opening since it is much closer for us. Went for the first time within their first month of opening. The kids taking my order were unsure how to work the equipment and my order was lost. I sat waiting in the numbered spots for them to correct this issue for over 20 min. Had to be a Karen at the window to get our food as the line had cleared twice. I spoke with the manager. Any other location would've given you one of those free chicken biscuit cards as an apology. This location gave us an "I apologize for the wait" Our food was cold when we got home... I gave them another try thinking it was because they were new. They needed to work out kinks. The poor little guy taking my order couldn't hear a thing through the speaker. The order was completely wrong when they gave it to us at the window. Pulled into a spot and they fixed it right away this time. PROGRESS IN THAT AREA The final visit for us was breakfast. My Chicken Biscuit didn't have much breading at all. I'll be going to the original Chick fil a for a little while longer until they get things together over here. I really want this Chic fil a to thrive for all of us on this side of Vista. Went here during busy weekend hours (Saturday) since they do not open Sundays. The lines were extremely long, so be ready to sit in your car for a while and jam to some songs. We ordered the kids meals and a chicken sandwitch with a side salad. The side salad was extremely small but super delish, not sure if they have larger sizes (it was the kale salad). I also get honey butter at every location I go to and never have an issue but this location was very rude and told me no that they wouldn't be doing that. I have eaten at several CFA's and have not had a bad experience. However, I have ordered from this specific CFA a handful of times and each time they have managed to mess up my order. Not only have they messed up order, but they have failed to give me items I purchased. I have had to drive back to get the items I didn't receive. I use the drive thru as it is convenient with kids so having to drive back is not only a hassle but frustrating. Neither time have I been compensated, as a matter of fact, they offered to give me the item on the house. How can the item be on the house if I paid for it?!? I was pretty disappointed the other day when I came. I love chick fil a but this experience makes me not want to come back. I ordered breakfast for curbside pickup at 10:12 knowing breakfast ends at 10:30. I paid and everything went through and I rushed over. My thought was that since my payment went through that they would already be working on my order and just bring it out at 10:30 because you would think that they start making it as soon as they get the order like a normal restaurant does. I arrived at 10:31 and my whole order was just nonexistent but my payment still went through. I walked inside and they said they couldn't do anything breakfast was already over and I tried to tell them that I already paid for it. It's been a few days and I never got refunded or anything. They only get 2 stars because the girl that helped me was nice but other than that Chick Fil A pretty much just took money without giving me anything in return because I was one minute late. LIVID. I SPECIFICALLY asked to use my rewards when ordering at the intercom. Then pull up to pay and specifically ask TO USE MY REWARDS. She scan my phone and sure enough charges me the entire bill. One of the worst fast food drive thru experiences ever. I ordered a patty for my dog and a breakfast sandwich for my husband. Ordered, drove up and paid. Waiting at window for over four minutes, then the cashier at the window leaves and moments later I see her exit it to other vehicles waiting in the pick up area. I'm still waiting....the manager Nicole then instructs me to pull forward a few feet adjacent to the handicapped parking and wait. I pull forward and wait. And I wait. And I wait. Finally a young man comes out with my two items. I immediately asked to speak to a manager. Nicole, the manager, states that other cars had ordered before me and that was the reason it took too long . I advised Nicole that there were a total of two cars at the drive through and no one in front of us. I literally ordered and drove up to the cashier's window. She then changed her statement. I've noticed an employee with blonde hair in two braids was hustling like she owned Chick-fil-A. She had great service, very quick, asked if I been helped and asking others around me. She's badass!
