This is a biased opinion because I have been a fan of this place all the way back when I was a husky pre-teen and my mom would take me to the mall and after shopping I woould always ask to go to chick-fil-a! Where do I start? The chicken or the waffle fries? Lets start with how they cook the food. Chick-Fil-A uses peanut oil and pressure cookers to cook the Fried Chicken breast and nuggets. they dredge the breast and nuggets in milk and dress it with their secret batter, then they throw it in the pressure cooker. They also have chicken strips that are done a little different. these are marinated in pickle juice and then coated with the secret batter. They are good but not my favorite. The waffle fries are always hot and crispy, but I always find myself ordering an extra fry due to them not being able to enough in the box(im a closet fatty)lol. This location is very new and the staff is awesome and quick. If you visit this place you can't go wrong with any item on the menu. But I must warn you, you would be a fool to order your meal and get a fountain soda. My sister and I needed an indoor place to bring my nieces to play and CFA was the perfect location! Since my sister and I were visiting family in the area we didn't know much about where to go or what to do on a cold and snowy afternoon, but we did know that CFA back home has a nice playground area we knew it would be a good choice in Warwick too. When we arrived around 2 on a Tuesday it wasn't that crowded. We ordered a meal at the counter and went to the table to wait. While waiting a woman who worked for CFA came over to bring the girls a cute place setting (paper that stuck to the table to avoid a mess). It was very thoughtful of her. A few minutes later the food was ready and we were all eating and enjoying our meals. By the time we were done my nieces were so ready to play and use the slide! My sister and I cleaned up our table and then went into the play area. I think it might be soundproof which is a good thing since the girls were yelling and screaming (out of excitement). I think we let them play for a little over an hour and they had a blast! Since we were going to be going home around dinner time I thought it would be a good idea to bring home some CFA for dinner. It was my understanding that none of my family had ever had CFA before-shameful! So while the girls were playing I ordered a few chicken nuggets and a large salad to bring home. When the food was ready one of the workers actually brought it over to the play area in a bag with all the condiments and dressings needed. So wonderful of him! I always say that CFA is my favorite fast food place and it really is. No matter where in the country you are (FL, MO, AL, RI, etc) you will always have the best CFA experience since the people working there are so helpful and friendly. This is fast food...above average fast food. They use real chicken - which of course cannot be taken for granted. And they serve waffle fries, which of course should highly celebrated. It is by no means "much healthier" according to the report of a fellow yelper. I prefer not to eat their bread which is loaded with carbs. Their chicken tenders or nuggets is a good choice - it always comes out hot and mildly seasoned. I wished they offered extra seasoning besides their dips. Waffle fries have just the right salty and crisp. The chicken club is really good! Soft bread and chicken has no gristle in it. Got the fresh squeezed lemonade and it's really refreshing! I recommend their honey roasted BBQ sauce in the packet it's delicious. I also got the spicy chicken sandwich for later but I have a feeling it won't last long. So far this place is excellent! This was the first day it opened and the line to get in the drive through was miles long but they have it down! Fast and friendly service under the circumstances. My kids ordered the breakfast burritos and hash browns..i had the chic-n-minis which consists of a light fluffy honey touched bun with chunk chicken bites. I've never been disappointed by Chick-fil-A. Their chicken seems like real chicken believe it or not. And like other fast food places I don't feel sick & regret my decision halfway through a meal. But seriously, the quality of the food is definitely too good to be called "fast food" the likes of McDonalds & Wendy's. I don't know how they do it but every meal seems fresh. The waffle fries don't seem like they've been frozen or sitting under a heat lamp all day too. And the milkshakes are delicious. The staff at the Warwick location are friendly & efficient. The place is always jamming when I've been there & I've never had a long wait for my meal. And they don't skimp on the sauce! This was my first experience with this chain. While I am happy to see they offer gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and gf waffle fries, they are nothing to write home about. Both were good. On a main road in Warwick and after returning from a vacation in Florida we stopped at Chik fila from TF Green Airport, something like less than 10 miles. Ordered four salads and a 30 nugget box. The greatness of their cooking is that a majority of America doesn't really cook anymore, and they think it is a decent flavor... If you have never been and don't make your own southern fried chicken, you will definitely enjoy it since its better than KFC. I'm truly surprised at the recent bad reviews. I have never received a bad meal here in the half-dozen or so times I've visited since they opened approximately three years ago. As I did for lunch today, I usually order the fried chicken strips with waffle fries, and the quality is head and shoulders above KFC. The chicken is cooked just right (whereas KFC overcooks their chicken strips) and the frying oil tastes way fresher. Waffle fries were likewise cooked to perfect consistency, with just the right amount of salt. Dipping sauces are also a cut above KFC's. For drinks, I recommend either their lemonade (it cut my thirst like few drinks can), or frosted lemonade (a cross between a frozen lemonade and a vanilla milkshake is how best I can describe it, but, bottom line, it is DELICIOUS!). For dessert, I favor their awesome chocolate chip cookies. Although they are often quite busy, sometimes with a line to the door, they seem to have plenty of staff on duty, and the line moves more quickly than most fast food chains. No one there has ever messed up my order, either dining in or in the drive-up. They have two drive up lanes, and service is just as fast as it is indoors. Every employee I have encountered has earned above-average marks in politeness. Their parking lot gets crowded, but there is plenty of parking in the adjacent plaza. My only (minor) complaint is that their dining area is small and it's hard to get a table, although they do have covered and uncovered outdoor dining areas, as well as an indoor play area for kids. I've been here twice, once through the drive-thru and once in the dining area. Both experiences were excellent in food quality and service. Since Chick-fil-a is known for friendly, helpful service and higher-quality fast food, I already went in with certain expectations, so I'm very happy they were met. The drive-thru experience was easy and quick. The person taking my order was helpful, upbeat, and articulate. While waiting [a reasonably short time] in line, I also noticed that the property was very clean and well-landscaped. The gentleman at the window asked if I needed sauces, gave me my order promptly, and, when I said thank you, I'm pretty sure he told me it was his pleasure. That's something I don't hear at fast food places...um, ever. Until now. Score! I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and an extra sandwich for hubbie and me to share. Everything was fresh and hot, but not too hot as to burn our tongues. The waffle fries are fun, nice alternative to fries. The soda was flat, so that was disappointing (nothing better than a nice crisp fountain soda!), but okay, that happens sometimes with machines. The price was also very fair for such quality food. The window man also informed me of a survey on my receipt that would entitle me to a free chicken sandwich. Awesome! I love free stuff! I did the survey within two days and was back a week later when hubbie and I decided to dine in. We got the same food as the first time (and the soda was perfect this time). Again, all servers were super nice and helpful. The line got long right after we ordered, but I noticed that an additional register was opened and the line moved along quickly. The dining area was clean. There was also a small kids' play area that was enclosed in a glass room. I don't want to hear children being rowdy while I enjoy a meal, so I really appreciated that! The only problem I have is that I live about 30 minutes away! I wish I were closer so I could have more opportunity to try the other sandwiches and salads. I've been dying to get here since it opened, but was unexcited to brave the reported Saturday crowds. Given I was in the area on Columbus Day, I thought I'd give it a shot though. It was crowded when I got there around noon, but the line was moving quickly as they had 5 or 6 people staffing the registers. One of the staff said it wasn't that busy at least relative to Saturdays. I'd hate to see what that looks like. That being said, service at the counter was efficient and friendly. What seems to work for them is that runners who are not working the registers bring out the food to you, whether you are standing nearby or have seated yourself if you are eating in. I ordered the regular chicken sandwich combo meal, so I got an order of waffle fries and a soda with my sandwich. The cost was just under $7.00, which wasn't too bad. The sandwich was yummy with it's toasted, buttered bun and pickles only so the flavor of the chicken came through. The fries were hot and tasty. While I was sitting out on the patio eating, I was approached three times by staff asking if I needed a refill and making sure everything was satisfactory, which was a very nice touch and not something I've ever experienced at any other fast food chain. They have free wi-fi, which is nice if you need to surf off of your cell phone data plan. As everyone should already know, they are not open on Sundays, which is a bummer, but I respect their decision to do so. One thing that I see as an issue is that the indoor dining space is really kind of small; they do have a nice outdoor seating area, but when it gets cold, people will most likely only want to eat inside. They do have some kind of closed off play area for kids, which could have been used for more seating, but I guess they have a standard set up for their franchisees.
