I typically stop at this Chick-Fil-A when I'm going between central and south Florida. This specific visit was a little disappointing. As per usual, my order was taken while I was far back in line, which I appreciated. I was trying the pimento sandwich for the first time and the person taking my order asked if I wanted a grilled, regular or spicy filet. I wasn't aware I could order the sandwich with a grilled filet so I did appreciate that she asked. After ordering, I was stuck in the line for about 15 minutes, which was frustrating. I don't know if there was a backup with orders or if it was the traffic because the parking lot is designed horribly. After 10 minutes, I received my food but I was far back in line and I wasn't able to get out for another 5 minutes. The pimento sandwich ended up being a huge disappoint. I was excited to try it after seeing really good reviews but the pimento had no flavor and it just fell really flat. I also ordered a diet lemonade and it was warm with barely any ice. With getting stuck in line and the warm lemonade, it was a pretty disappointing experience. I'll be back because it's convenient but there is another location in Palm Bay that I'll be trying. read more

I used to think it was impossible to mess up a Chick-fil-A. We stop every time we travel from South Florida to Green Cove Springs due to it being about the halfway mark of our frequent trips. We always go inside and sit, use the bathroom and eat a nice lunch. The old location was excellent. We never had an issue once. We missed it several times as the old one was being torn down and rebuilt. After finally getting to go again on our recent trip, we were excited to visit the brand new store. That lasted about 5 minutes. We waited in line over 10 minutes as multitude of employee's scurried around looking busy but not really doing anything. We immediate notice there are now only two order stations/cash registers. Only one register was being manned at 12:00 PM on a Thursday. Though there were what seemed like dozens of employees in the back. You can clearly see everything going on waiting in line to order. Probably not an idea store design. We also notice numerous Door Dash, and Uber Eats drivers waiting for food. Not just a few drivers, at least 10 - 12 all at the same time, all crammed into the left side of the line looking for somewhere, anywhere to stand and wait. It also looked to us like many new employees and managers now work at this store. Again, we have been here no less than 30 - 40 times. Nevertheless, after waiting forever, we placed our order. We sat down and it took another 30 minutes to get actually get our food. During our wait, we noticed one Door Dash, and Uber Eats drivers after another, then another and another receiving the orders. At some one point drivers that came in after we ordered were getting bags of food before we ever got our order. We were so upset after waiting so long, we went back to the counter to ask where are food was. The manager looked at us disgusted and with a sour attitude and replied it would be right out. After another 5 minutes we received our food. We order basic chicken sandwiches and meals, so the food was on par except the size of the chicken breast seems to have shrunk. There is no way this is the same chicken we have been served in the past. To say we were highly disjointed would be an understatement. As we left, we notice that they still only had one cash register open, the extremely long lines at the two line drive thru and realized this store had been built for the drive thru, not to go inside, sit down and enjoy your meal. We spent well over an hour on our 5 1/2 hour trip to get what is now just an average chicken sandwich at what used to be the fastest food service in the fast food industry. It's so sad. I explained to my wife like all great business, once the family take over it always goes downhill fast. It simply becomes about the money, not the service or the customer anymore. Not sure what has happened to the two Chic-fil-A's in our area. They used to be great and rarely got things wrong, now they always screw things up. Lack of training? Lack of quality control? Here are my recent interactions with the two Chic-fil-A's in my area (Palm Bay & West Melbourne); all drive thru orders in just the past month: West Melboune: Ordered 3 sausage & cheese muffins, no egg: got bacon, egg & cheese bisquits Ordered 3 sausage & cheese muffins, no egg from Doordash; receipt labeled correctly, but got 3 grilled chicken and cheese muffins, paid delivery fee and tip, had to drive back to the restaurant to get what I ordered. Palm Bay: Ordered 3 sausage & cheese muffins, no egg, got 3 sausage & cheese bisquits Order 3 sausage & cheese muffins, no egg, got 3 sausage & cheese muffins, double egg! Now I am starting to get how Chic-fil-A lost their top spot to Jersey Mikes. If they don't get their act together it will only keep going down! read more

This is the second time I've come to this location since it's been redone and the first time I got raw grilled chicken and the managers clearly don't know how to handle complaints. This time I come and you get four pieces of fruit and a cup if you ask for no apples that's ridiculous when you're paying $6 for a cup of Fruit. Grand opening is not very grand. Customer service felt like McDonald's level. I've gone twice since they reopened, the second time I went with my wife and she agreed 'not really the chick fil a pep' we're used to. On the second trip with my wife, they also forgot my straw (not a big deal, but it's the little things they always get right, that's what makes Chick fil a the best), the chicken on the sandwich was the smallest I've ever seen on a chick fil a sandwich and it was hard and chewy, weird. Worst chick fil a experience to date, let me down twice. Drive thru is physically a messed up entrance and system. Both times I've had to swerve around people that are waiting for food, just to leave. Need new management, that part is clear. If I'm honest, this was the worst Chick-fil-A experience I've ever had. I went through the drive thru and as I was pulling up to the window, the girl that was delivering the foods to the cars, took an order to look for a car. She comes back up after about a minute and apologized, she had my food the whole time. My question is, how do you not look at the car pulling up? So I got back to work and found, I didn't get any dressing with my salad. I'm not gonna eat a dry salad so that was a bummer. I called the store to let them know about the missing dressing and I asked if I could come back next day and get some and the person said "yes you can, I'm sorry to hear about your experience" then paused with nothing else to say. I will always reccomend Chick-Fil-A. As I've said before this is basically our go to place. How can you not LOVE being able to order curbside? Order on your phone and be able to have it brought to your table? Order before you arrive and have it ready when you go inside? It is literally so convenient! Our order is almost always correct. Literally we have gotten chicken strips instead of nuggets, so not a big deal. The workers are always pleasant. The place is clean.. except I swear the kids area is just.. gross. I have been craving chick-fil-A's new maple pepper bacon sandwich so I was able to stop here for lunch. Imagine my surprise when it's NOTa bacon sandwich; but bacon added to a chicken sandwich. This Chick Fil A is not on my favorites list. They don't ever cook the fries, which results in soggy gross fries. Every time! Knowing this, because I go to this location at least once a week, I ordered my fries extra crispy, as I always do at all food joints, when the kid behind the counter informs me "I'm sorry we don't do that anymore" WHAAAAAT? Oddly enough the owner was there and mentioned "they don't have the capacity to make fries crispy". WHAAAAT? Are you kidding me? Today I decided to go pickup some delicious chick-fil-A because one think most of us can count on there is good food and awesome customer service. I did not recieve that when driving through there today . A girl named Alexis (shorter , tanned , younger white lady) was there and as I pulled up to get my order taken , rolled my window down and said hello , she rudely told me to pull forward. Mind you there was no one behind me waiting and she was just standing there lounging. I was kind and she giggled as I pulled up to the other people to help me order. She proceeded to giggle at the face that she had just passed me on to them!. Very unexpected experience from this restaurant as I usually am treated with kindness. Anyhow I told Tim the manager and he apologized for her behavior!. (Thanks Tim). Out of all the Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Palm Bay and Melbourne area, this is the one I have been to numerous times and I have been to all of them within close proximity of where I used to live (Malabar Rd., Palm Bay Rd. Melbourne Square Mall). I might say I am a bit biased in this review, but maybe it is because the restaurant knows me by now and actually gives me some extra attention you would expect with a regular. First and foremost, there really isn't anything that stands out visually about this Chick-fil-A compared to others. The decor is the same every single Chick-fil-A I go to and this one is no different. I can say the same thing for the food too. With some isolated incidents here and there, the food at Chick-fil-A is superb. Though their lunch menu items are what most people will eat in which I personally love their chicken deluxe sandwiches, I prefer their breakfast menu. Their breakfast burritos, egg and cheese biscuit, and their chicken, egg, and cheese bagel are my personal favorite food items served there. What stands out is the customer service. Some of them know me by name and they are always friendly. The fact they utilizes manners like "please," "thank you," and even that "my pleasure" line is probably what makes it popular among its customer base. As a matter of fact, I have noticed other fast-food restaurants starting to use the "my pleasure" line too especially through the drive-through. Overall, it is always a pleasure eating at Chick-fil-A for me. Though the restaurants are the same minus the location, this one I like most. All the employees were very hospitable and kind, and there's nothing quite like the "it's my pleasure" from a Chick-fil-A employee. I went with the number three, eight count chicken nugget meal with a cherry coke (no ice) and two Chick-fil-A sauces and one buffalo sauce. This order was fulfilled without error. I got trapped in a line with 40 other people for 30+ minutes and my seven-year-old had to use the restroom. I asked three different team members about letting my seven-year-old inside the store to use the restroom. He had a mask on and I was declined three times. Chick-fil-A either needs to have compassion for people stuck in the drive-through line or design restaurants where you're not trapped once you pull into the parking lot.
