this is a good chickfila except the morning staff doesn't at all know how to handle volume. I compare this to pretty much any other chickfila in my area. Before 8am they generally have only one drive thru open even though there is a line that wraps around the parking lot around that time. They don't allow you to do pickup before 8am outside of going to pick your order up through the drive thru which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead because the line is already out onto the parkway by the time you get there. This morning I waited in that single line I mentioned for like 15 minutes and halfway through they opened up the second drive thru and three cars behind me got to order and cut ahead of me which was extremely infuriating. I can't believe how bad the customer service was for my wife and me tonight. We placed a mobile order and when we arrived we entered the correct lane to pick up that order. When we got to the front of that lane where the sign reads to wait for instructions a young man came up to the car and directed us to enter the main drive-through lane. I told him we were here for a mobile order pickup and he said "ya ya just pull forward into here" indicating the main lane so I did. Then he tried taking my order and again I informed him we already placed a mobile order and we were here to pick it up and he said "ok just go forward your good to go" I asked how I'm good to go when now I'm in the wrong lane behind 15 other people and he walked away. When I got to the next employee she directed me to the pickup window where after explaining the situation again I was told I got in the wrong lane and to pull around again, at this point I was getting angry and said I was in the lane and was told to get in this lane then I had to start over with another person and at no point did anyone even slightly acknowledge they made a mistake or apologize. read more

How can you not give them five stars , of all the restaurants doing curbside pickup they've hit it out the park. The teens they hire need to be a little more friendly, I know there just passing through as they go to school ,but customer service is number 1. Waiting time is short and food super fresh. Update I honestly don't know if this location will ever get better customer service. They hire teenagers which is cheap labor but then expect customers to be pleased with their experience. I don't know how many times these children have been so rude. But I guess the owners know they have the most convenient location so customers will always stop by. Update Where has the customer service and orders being correct gone. I come here every week and every week for the last three months something has gone wrong. They have hired young teens that are more worried about having conversations and rushing people through the drive through that they can't focus. Both of my kids meals weren't correct and I didn't receive any of the sauces I requested. Lucky for me I saw the error of their ways before getting to far from this once great establishment. I had to wait again in the drive through line. The two teens at the window were not helpful and caught an attitude when I asked for MY cash back as I had been over charged. When I asked for my receipt back the guy hollers "it's in your bag" without taking the time that to remember that he had my receipt in front of him. The employees are great and I am so glad the changes included a cover that benefits them as well. I've never had a bad experience with them and we use them A-Lot! I have no complaints about Chick-fil-A. The food is great and so is the service. Everyone here seems to love their job because I have never had a bad customer service experience here. They're ridiculous. Customer service is the worst here and management is also..well, they trained the employees. I used to come here years ago, I usually ordered the #4 I believe it was, and a boatload of honey roasted bbq sauce, but one day I was told I would have to pay for it, I said; Ok, how much, the utterly incompetent employee tells me $9.90 for 10 of those little packets. I said what? The packets are more expensive than the meal? She replied that's what she had put in the system, Okay, well, ask your mgr.. Mgr shows up, then she brings it down to $7.99, still almost $20 for a chicken sandwich and a bag of fries with a coke. Charging 80 cents for a packet of mustard? That's not even an ounce, gold is not even that expensive. Is this place going to go out of business if they give me 10 of them? Well, I got the meal w/o the mustard, head to the little counter and grabbed two stacks of napkins and about 100 packets of ketchup, I thought they were gonna go out of business but they didn't. Anyhow, thank God for Chipotle, it's the same price and taste so much better, so I go to Chipotle twice a week before work to get my food and chick fil a? Haven't been there in two years at least. How do I even begin to explain how amazing and wonderful Chick-fil-A is? The chicken is always moist and heavenly! The French fries are hot and evenly salted. This establishment has really perfected the chicken sandwich and waffle fries. I can't think of one time I left disappointed. The only thing disappointing about the visit is the long wait time, but it's not really their fault everyone loves Chick-fil-A. I'm just not sure all of the folks working outside make the drive-thru experience more efficient. This place is such a solid choice no matter what time of the day it is. Being a new resident to the Potomac area in Woodbridge and also from the north east I was pretty excited to experience the infamous Chick-fil-A. At fist glance the area of the plaza that this restaurant was in was very congested. Traffic from the drive through seemed to be overflowing into the outer driveways of the regular traffic causing bit of a back up and awkward tension with drivers. Once inside I was hit with even more of the congestion that I had seen from the outside. Customers filled every corner of this establishment and why would they not? This was Chick-fil-A in the middle of a busy lunch crowd on the weekend. I expected that service would be slow, but to my surprise I walked right in line and placed my order and within minutes, I was served. This time I chose to dine in and was offered several options for seating. The workers were very friendly, considering their heavy volume of customers and requests. One worker even offered to refill my beverage (a first for me at a fast food joint) and I gladly accepted. I also ordered a frosted coffee add cookies and although I was charged for the cookies the frosted coffee did not have cookies. So to start of we asked for 4 meals and drinks when it was time to checkout it turned out to be $29.00 and pretty cheap for 4 meals and when it was to receive our meals the employee was giving us a really rude attitude he told us to park in front of the Chick-fil-A and then immediately changed his mind to another spot and when we went through the drive through we got our order and the bag seemed pretty small for 4 meals and we check it we only got 2 meals out of 4 and only got 1 large fries and we had 3 out of 4 drinks and we explained that we were missing 3 out of 4 fries and they told us we needed to pay $8.00-$9.00 so this shouldn't be like this they don't deserve a 2 star only 1 sorry but that's what you get read more

Many talk about the great service Chick-fil-A provides to its customer. I, unfortunately have not had a great experience at the Woodbridge Chick-fil-A. It all went wrong when I started ordering from the APP and discovered that the wait time is longer. It would have been easier for me to stand in line or on the drive-thru. The team at this location could benefit a re-train on how the Chick-fil-A APP works. Panera and Starbucks have this concept down and Chick-fill-A could benefit from observing their operation. I think this location deserves to be on a news special on what customer service should be. Like others have said in reviews the line can literally be wrapped around the building with cars . All the seats inside can be taken but the staff are polite , courteous and not panicked . Your food will still be hot and even though there will be a line you will not feel like your waiting all day . Yes this is just a fast food chain but the management seriously does an amazing job. "David is horrible." I never thought I would be writing about Chick-fil-A customer service or lack thereof. I ordered only 3 items, one of which was a large shake but I was given a small shake instead and almost proceeded to pull off but my son said they gave us the wrong size. This manager literally proceeded to go back and forth with me in a petty manner as to who would give the shake back first. He should have just let me keep the small shake that they were admittedly going to throw away for their error and keep it moving. However his ego and lack of quality customer service training prevented him from doing the "right" thing, policy or no policy. It appears other customers have had the same issue probably with the same manager but it's not being addressed at this location. read more

We were on our way to Kings Dominion and we stoped here it was super packed inside and out. We had to wait in a line just to be directed to get in line for the drive thru. It was a police officer directing traffic and he was doing a great job. There were two females outside taking orders and our food was ready quickly. It taste great and was ready promptly. The police officer directed us out and we were done. I thought the service was good but this fast food place is just to packed they need to make a bigger restaurant with a bigger drive thru. We have been twice since moving here, both times as we are either leaving town or returning from a trip, and just want a quick bite to eat that we know will satisfy! This is by far the best Chick Fil A franchise that I've ever been to. Located near the Potomac Mills Outlet, this place was pretty busy on the Saturday of tax-free weekend. The place has a continuous stream of patron coming in and out of the dining area and the drive-thru area. Given the volume of people, we expected to wait a while to be served. However, once we got in the restaurant, we realized they were pretty efficient. We got served right away. And once we got our orders down, we saw an open spot that was just cleaned by the servers. While we were eating, a server would stop by and check on us if we need anything else such as refills or napkin, etc. We also observed that as soon as patrons leave their spot, their spot was immediately cleaned. As we were leaving, we saw that servers would also help families/ patrons find spots for their group. We also saw that on the drive-thru, drivers get to talk to an actual person and not the machine. Also, they have a cop that directs traffic in their parking lot. Yep, it is THAT BUSY. As with all Chick Fil A establishments, we were greeted warmly but this place's greeting seems pretty genuine.
