Great chicken! It is fried crispy and sauce flavors are strong without being too overpowering. The spicy soy garlic was too sweet for my personal taste, but if you like teriyaki it would be comparable to a medium spicy teriyaki. The best thing is it is always served piping hot! It's cooked to order and the quality reflects that. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. They also have board games to play with friends and family in the restaurant. It is a vastly underrated restaurant. They also have lunch specials!

Since the day Chicken Roll opened, I and my coworkers have been hooked. No joke, we've already had lunch there about four to five times. And with each visit, we've tried something new the sandwiches, the subs, the wings, and those lemonades? All of it was Delicious. What keeps us coming back besides the food always being hot, fresh, and flavorful is the energy. The folks at the counter already recognize us as regulars and greet us like family. "See you again!" is how we're sent off and trust me they will. I love the consistency of the food & the selection. If you haven't been to Chick n Roll yet its worth a visit I reccomend trying them out.

My husband and I finally checked out Chick N Roll on Centerville Turnpike, and let me tell you--it was a total win. First of all, the interior? Sleek, modern, and spotless. You can tell everything is brand new, and the vibe is lowkey elevated fast casual with a side of K-Pop flair (yes, the TV was playing K-Pop, but the volume was low--classy move). I went with the chicken rice bowl with soy sauce, and wow--flavor bomb! The jalapeños gave it a beautiful depth, but don't worry, heat seekers--it's not spicy, just perfectly balanced and savory. Bonus: it comes with a side of miso soup, which was a lovely touch, and the bowl itself was generous in portion. I also tried the marinated pickled veggies--nice crunch, though I personally would've loved a touch of sweetness and a hit of ginger to really bring it home. My husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken bites with rice, and he gave it two thumbs up for flavor. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the plating was neat (because yes, presentation matters, even for a quick bite). I really hope this location lasts--it's had some other restaurants turnover in the past, but Chick N Roll deserves to stick. The food is legit delicious, the space is inviting, and the attention to detail is there. Fingers crossed this hidden gem turns into a neighborhood staple! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful.

Ambiance is great, a 5. Welcoming with soft pipeline music, the place has lots of seating, clean and well lit with lots of pendant lights.simple and tasteful artwork on the walls give a modern flair. Service is friendly and helpful, a 5. I was immediately greeted with a smile, staff even walking up to me instead of staying behind the counter. I explained it's my first time so the hostess showed me over to the kiosk and walked me through each page - rewards with your phone number, all the different kinds of Sandwiches, wraps, salad. They also have different refreshers and teas. I ordered the salad with panko fried chicken and spicy soy garlic wings. They're reasonably priced so that's a bonus! Now a slight pause as I wait for my order for take-out.... Less than 10 minute wait! And you get text when your order is ready. Special treatment time; the hostess even took my order and handed to me and wished me to enjoy my food and opened the door for me - if I can give 10 stars! Now the food: a 6 hands down! Chicken wings are tad tinier than other chicken garlic soy where drumsticks are humongous ... but taste of the spicy garlic soy is on point! The panko fried chicken salad came with a good portion of chicken fillet pounded down to thin thickness and perfectly fried golden. Had garlic toast with the salad which is fresh and served with two kinds of dressing. ABSOLUTELY wonderful experience. My beau saw the video of the place and says we'll both go back!

Seen good reviews about CNR and got to grab lunch here! I got CNR Chicken Sandwich (with CNR BBQ sauce) combo and Curry Croquettes! Got Yuzu Lemonade as my drink which was refreshing. It reminded me of Brisk Tea in the best type of way. The chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside but the meat was still juicy. The curry croquettes may have been my favorite part because I wasn't expecting the good texture and flavor! The place looks sleek/modern with snappy piano music playing! Also, front of house is super friendly and helpful :) It's a local chain to my understanding on top of all that, would recommend!

When I walked in this place, Choy was so welcoming and she showed me how to order from their menu. She told me all their popular food items like the burgers and wings. She is very friendly and made sure I was doing ok while I ate. They have a variety of different flavors but I wanted to stick to what I know which was their soy garlic wings. Perfection! The wings were not smothered in sauce and I ate it all up. I also tried their Yuzu milk tea which is different than what I usually get for milk tea. Very good! I was still hungry after eating the wings that I ordered more food which were the shrimp shumai. They were fresh and so yummy! This place is a nice place for a small get together with friends or if wanted somewhere to hang out by yourself. I'll be back and bring my husband next time!

What a fantastic find! The food here is so good. It's prepared to order but comes out quickly, the ingredients are fresh and they have enough variety to allow lots of options, but the menu isn't too large that it overwhelms you. The atmosphere is clean and inviting with plenty of tables and seating. And service is very good. You're greeted when you walk through the door and assistance if offered when you order, if you need it. Great place!

First time here, and I'm in love! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt so calm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, and their service was top notch. The food? Absolutely delicious clean, fresh, and the portions were huge! Whether you're coming with family or friends, I think everyone would enjoy a meal here. If you're in Virginia Beach and love chicken, this place is a MUST TRY!! I'm seriously in love with the food here!

Chesapeake's…read morelittle town center area has really stepped their game up and there are several good options for food and this is one of them. Parking is plentiful as it's in a strip mall, and we were able to self seat a party of 7 with no problem at all on a Saturday evening. The service was doing their best, but they definitely could use one or two more employees because the person making all the desserts (and there was a line JUST for take out dessert orders- because it's that good) was also the same one that needed to take our orders before we could sit down. I felt bad for her because she was working really hard on two very busy stations. The ambience is super casual so no need to dress up. So now lests get to the star of the show. This is the best chicken sandwich out and I'll put it up against anyone I've had anywhere. Well seasoned, tender, perfectly fried. The buns were potato bread so super soft, the sauces are fantastic and the variety of sandwiches is just enough to have a good amount of options. The fries are also delicious. À la carte so they are sold separately, but the portion makes it worth it because THEY ARE NOT STINGY! Flavor packed and great value for the cost. Last but not least the homemade custard is TOP TIER. Best I've had since i left Jersey back in the day. This place just took the top spot for chicken sandwiches for me and i can't eat to try more flavors.

I love the selection of sauces, they really make the meal! The only negative thing about this restaurant is every time my husband gets a sandwich that comes out piping hot and my chicken tenders come out barely lukewarm. So much so we've once asked for replacements, which the staff was so great and accommodating. Very chill vibe, clean tables, and they're always playing great music. We always dine in when we stop by. The custard is also great! Love the sauces, love the sandwiches!

The restaurant was consistently busy as soon as I walked in but we were able to find a booth. Very cozy, no complaints on seating. I chose the Chicken Tenders Box Combo both visits. It consists of 4 large pieces of tender juicy chicken & true Deep South Cole Slaw prepared with a light sauce, just like I grew up with. Also included were Crinkle Cut French Fries & awesome Texas Toast. I opted out of their Special Sauce, which I am told is delicious by those who like dipping Chicken Fingers. Lemonade, which is really good, was my drink choice. Perhaps the difference in the visits has to do with time of day. The first visit was mid afternoon, having had a doctor's appointment in close proximity. The personnel were friendly & welcoming. What must have been the manager told us we should come back the next week, on their First Anniversary. We decided to support the restaurant on their Anniversary, meeting friends who lived in Chesapeake. The drive from the Shore Dr corridor to Greenbrier at rush hour was much longer than anticipated. So it was in the midst of the dinner hour when we arrived. The restaurant was extremely busy. The staffing seemed similar to our mid afternoon visit, which wasn't quite adequate to handle the dinner hour level of business. It wasn't an Anniversary crowd. My Chesapeake friends indicated that the restaurant was always that busy. The food tray came so quickly that I was still talking to one of their pleasant personnel, maybe a manager. Although we were able to order quickly, very soon there was a long line snaking past our table towards the back of the store. I was shocked when we left the restaurant at the extremely long line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru. The parking lot of the restaurant didn't come close to containing it. Told that it was always like this, I understood that the staff must be struggling to handle that many customers at one time. One big complaint on my second visit is that one of their 2 unisex, spacious bathrooms was completely out of toilet paper & paper towels. The soap dispenser had the front taken off, obviously by a patron trying to find soap. The inside replaceable plastic bag of soap refills had been squeezed, obviously in an attempt to get the last of the soap remaining. I planned to tell an employee the state of that bathroom but they were so busy that I decided to just return to my table. Obviously this was a good location choice for a Raising Cane's. But I do think they should increase their staffing level during the busy dinner hours. The location was filled with framed Chesapeake History. It was fun to walk around and see the articles & pictures. One was even a page from the 1955 Oscar Smith High School Yearbook. I'll return to this location both for takeout after a doctor appointment or to meet my Chesapeake friends. But I'll definitely leave earlier or take a different route. And I look forward to the opening of their planned Lynnhaven location.

The smell drew me in the first time while visiting Lowe's and so glad I took a chance. A line is always a good sign that there are likely regulars and that spells something good is going on. The menu is posted on the outside and is simple fair type with burgers, sausages & cheesesteaks. The one young guy running the grille was friendly and recommended the cheesesteaks which I gotta say as a lover was suspicious. However I was willing to risk it on the off chance this food stand in a parking lot could actually deliver a fabulous steak. The price was affordable for a footling around $10 and added a bottle water and tip came to $13+ The cheesesteak was completed in around 8 minutes wrapped up and in a bag with napkins. I popped it open in the car and was amazed at the pure size and amount of meat. The smell was glorious with steam waffling above. The bread was fresh and authentic to Philly. The only thing left was a bite and it did not disappoint one bit, just wowzers! It was good enough to return prior to writing a review. It ended up being a carbon copy of my success with another incredibly delicious cheesesteak. This time I used a nearby picnic table to enjoy. This is a chain food stand. The owner has two located at Lowe's in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach on Holland Rd. If you love cheesesteaks then Dominic's delivers a masterpiece and you will not be disappointed. A 4.5 rounding up and later learned Yelp friend Terry was a super fan of their steaks which was cool. Don't forget to pick up a punch card when you buy 6 your 7th is FREE!

Placing all judgment aside based purely on the aesthetic environment, this place makes some slamming soy garlic chicken and some tasty fries! That's all you need to know. Service was pleasant and the one gentleman seemed to be hustling bringing out people's food to their tables or calling out their numbers. The lady at the register kept the line moving. It wasn't busy when we initially ordered, but then there was an influx of customers out of nowhere! Initially I thought the price was kind of steep for 6 pieces of chicken but then I saw the size and they are huge! I added a side of fries and a drink and it came to a total of $17 and some change. If you dine in there are free refills. One of my friends came back to our table with a mini cup of ice cream. Apparently they have a freezer of ice cream and popsicles that are complimentary! So that was a nice added touch! They offer military discounts! Just show your ID! I asked. Not too soon after, I heard a gentleman that had purchased food prior to me comment out loud that he wish he knew that earlier. I just always try to ask wherever I go, the worst they can say is no. ‍ I don't go to Chesapeake often, but if i'm ever out this way, I would definitely stop by again. The entrance is a bit confusing when driving up. While it faces the main street of Battlefield Blvd you have to turn at the traffic light and go behind another building that's adjacent to it, just make sure you don't overshoot and miss the turn. This place seemed to have a lot of not so great reviews or were a mixed bag, but I figured it was at the point of I'm just going to figure this out myself and experience it. I'm glad I did.
