I've come here a couple times and it definitely gets the job done if you're hungry. They give pretty large portions, so that's cool. The one downside are the garlic fries... just a bunch of minced garlic from a jar poured on top. Not a fan. The BLT... don't even waste your time. They put it on the cheapest bread possible and it's SO dry. I was shocked at the amount of minimal effort they put into this. The burgers and fish and chips are okay. The food is great!! Shakes are terrific! The variety on the menu is great too!! Something for everyone! We drive thru regularly. But..... The old speaker box is far out of date! If they can't hear your order, then get a nasty attitude with you for speaking clearly & ordering clearly, then there is going to be unhappy customers every day! Today I was very unhappy with the poor communication & lack of paying attention to my order, so I said something about it, only to be told, "then don't come back" by one of the helpers. So, I won't be ordering from the shaved head gal, ever again. She's just RUDE & nasty!! I'm not going to let her ruin my local burger joint! The positives: Amazing chicken sandwiches or tenders. A million flavors of milkshake. Good burgers also The not so great: The fries are obviously frozen crinkle fries and could use an upgrade, even just some seasoning could go s long way. Traveled here from Camano Island and this place was and is amazing. Customer service great employees are friendly fair in price. My favorite is the fries and ranch and bacon cheeseburger. I need to try the chicken sandwich. I love it and I will continue to go back. I am in love- worth every $$$$$$$ my brother introduced me to this place and if there are negative reviews Go see for yourself they are always willing to make it right and that's what matters. Recently moved to the area so my family and I wanted to try some of the local restaurants around here. This was our first of the restaurants to try and let me just say I was pretty pleasantly surprised. Food was pretty good and cooked well, but the fries were a bit too dry and crispy overall. REALLY good milkshakes if you wanna spend your days trying the many flavours available. That's another thing about this place; lots of options. There is only a few vegetarian options, but even just having that at a fried food drive-through is very nice. Wait time was a bit long, but there was a line of cars waiting to order when I went. Overall pretty good and I would recommend trying it at least once if you like fried food like I do. read more

I wish I could explain the long line of cars. We chose to ignore the 3.5 stars and go anyways because of the 7 cars waiting in the drive thru. Biggest mistake ever. I got the chicken strips and chips and my husband got the crispy chicken sandwich with mozzarella sticks. The chicken strips are not strips but really thin wide breasts and everything is fried in the same oil so it all tastes the same. Everything was also dripping in the oil so it was all soggy by the time we drove 7 minutes home. Curiosity got me but not again! read more

We ordered fish and chips. When we got home and ready to eat we didn't have any tarter sauce. We thought they had forgot to put it in the bag. We went back and walked up to the window they informed us that the fish and chips does not come with tarter sauce... huh? So, we got our tarter sauce BUT we had to pay for it and they charged 50 cents for the charge to use our card. Very disappointed, not good customer service at all. We won't be back. read more

Went through the drive thru and saw they had fish and chips. I figured since I was close to the water it shouldn't be too bad. I've never really liked other fast food type fish and chips but this was the best from a fast food joint I've had. There were 3 pieces of big fresh fish that were breaded in panko so they were crispy and crunchy. There were hot and had "fresh" taste to them. The fries were crinkle cut but at least they were crispy as well. Also ordered some spicy fry sauce with the meal which was not bad (kinda regret not getting tartar sauce). read more

My boyfriend had raved about this place for the last several years and I finally decided to give it a try. I have to say--- the only thing sort of decent about this place is their milkshakes. I was soooo disappointed in their burger. I ordered a kids burger and fries because I wasn't super super hungry and typically, kids burgers either come with no sauce, or just ketchup and mustard since kids are picky, like myself. Nope. This kids burger had more mayo based sauce, or 1000 island on it that it did bun. It was SOAKED in it. So gross.... I also tried his kids chicken tenders and they were dry and not flavorful. I don't know what all the hype is about. Next time he wants this place, I'll settle for just a milkshake. Everything else is icky. read more

So disappointed- no Marinara sauce offered with the cheese dips, no sauces offered with the chicken strips. Usually not a big deal but customer service is about offering all of the amenities and letting the customer decide if they want it or not. No offering of tarter sauce for the fries...again, just offer. The fries were soggy but the chicken was delicious (minus the BBQ we asked for). Made for a sub par experience. We have eaten here 20+ times and this is now becoming commonplace. My family and our company will now find another place to eat moving forward. read more

I would review negative if I could! They mis-charged my son, and said "oops sorry I will fix that". They in fact did NOT fix their error and when we saw it was still on our card statement days later we contacted them. They said "we can't fix it now, how do we know you aren't lying". Nice job - swindling a kid who trusted you when you said you were reversing the charge. And then, when following up, gets told "we'll you didn't come the next day" making it HIS problem for YOUR error. Even with proof- with a statement showing multiple charges. I will be spreading the word about the lack of integrity of this establishment for sure! read more

The Chicken Drive-In is probably the best spot to get a good milkshake in Lake Stevens. With so many different flavors. The thing that really gets to me is the wait. In a line of people, it can take about 10 minutes to advance. It's got a decent location, being right there in view. Except for the space for a drive-thru line. This is my favorite of all the local drive-ins. They make a perfect bacon cheeseburger. I love that they cook the bacon crisp and put a generous amount on it. The burgers are just the right amount of sloppy. The fries are awesome and they have a fry sauce that is pretty good (could be better really - it's just spiced up thousand island.) They have a sign up that says they deliver, but nobody knew if they'd deliver west of the lake. It's probably best if they don't because I'd spend all my money there! read more

Huge selection! Took me a good 10 minutes to decide. There is no restaurant, just a drive thru and a walk up window. We walked up and ordered a beef teriyaki burger, 1/4 lb deluxe burger and a bacon burger, and a marshmallow shake. The Marshmallow shake was very thick but yummy. Tasted very vanilla-ey. Service was quick but they did have a long drive thru line so our 2nd order took a little bit. This is an interesting concept of a restaurant, but they clearly get a lot of business as people lined up in the drive thru. read more
