We order chicken express through DoorDash pretty often. Every single time we order from them, we are missing SOMETHING from our order. And the bag arrives sealed. Typically we are missing a side or something extra we paid for. This time we are missing the extra rolls we paid for and the side of corn nuggets. We live about 20 minutes from the closest chicken express so when I called to ask if we could come pick up the missing items and have the rest of our order remade (since it would be cold by the time we got there and back home) I was told no. It was the carelessness of the employees working at the time that didn't include our items we paid for so if we have to come to the store to pick them up then our whole order should've been remade. Today was the second time lately we bought livers, first time they were cold, evidently they don't cook to order anymore so you get them fresh and good. Today we went through the drive thru, and got some again, they brought them to the window immediately, so we figured they would be cold and they were, they were also overcooked so much they tasted kind of burnt, they were so hard and crunchy they were inedible, $14 bucks for dog food. I used to eat at the Arkadelphia location everyday. This was the first time at this one in three years and...it will be my last. We ordered a 7 piece tender, okra, mashed potatoes and fried pickles. The pickles were inedible. They weren't fried, they were boiled in oil at low temperature. They were nothing but oil-soaked pickle slices. The mashed potatoes still had dry potato mix in them. The okra was burnt and three of the seven tenders were not completely done. On top of this, we waited at the window 10 minutes for the order. Never again.. Vastly underwhelmed with both food and service. Wife and I came in Friday night at 9:15. Cashier gave us a blank stare with no offer to take our order. After convincing her to take it, we sat in dining area 10 minutes before the cook came out and said it would be another 15 minutes because he didn't have any more breasts prepped. It is hard to find great fried chicken but the first time I tried Chicken Express I thought I had found it. The chicken was done perfectly! Alas, it did not last. Just had dinner there and the chicken tasted old, chewy, greasy. It tasted like it was several hours old. So very disappointed!
