These places are disappearing fast, so if you find one that is good, you need to let people know so that they will go there. This one is pretty good! 1st of all! I LOVE chicken Kitchen. I live out of state where there are no franchises and I love coming home to visit family and get some Chicken Kitchen. Today...was weird though. The ladies behind the counter were SO incredible rude. And when I asked the lady if she was serious (with her rude attitude) she turned around and loudly started talking about me in Spanish to her coworker. Really? She was upset because I was taking 6 forks out to the car for the to go orders I just made for the 5 kids and my sister who were waiting in the car. She was so demeaning that other customers even stopped what they were doing to watch. She pretty much just ruined one of my favorite places to eat. read more

If your looking for a dirty, disgusting place to eat this place is for you! The tables, floor and food prep areas are always dirty. I'm also pretty sure that bubbles in your salsa means its fermenting. The chop-chop (bowl of rice, chicken ad veggies) tastes OK. But it's 50/50 that I can make it home in time. I used to enjoy this place... but the overall cleanliness of this chain has gone way down over the years and I just don't trust the safety of their food anymore. :( read more

I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. This place was okay. The "wrapito" was tasty but the salsa/sauce bar looked a little dodgy with dressings that looked like they'd been sitting out too long. Washrooms not the cleanest, but this place was a better choice that Subway or BK. read more

This is the WORST chicken kitchen location yet. The staff is unfriendly, they barely speak a word of English, have unsanitary habits and skimp on the food they give you because their supply is always low. Went to this location tonight for dinner. I have to say this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. The lady behind the counter had attitude from the moment we walked in the door and after we got our food handed me sour cream that was warm and watery. Told her that the sour cream was warm and she had to sit there and argue with me that it was fresh. Told her that it was not fresh so she picked it up off the counter threw it across the kitchen into the garbage can. I asked the lady that was standing next to her who was the manager she stated she was the manager and I asked her if this is the kind of freaking (didn't use freaking) employees they have there. She just shrugged her shoulders and said I'm sorry. I then told her that I would not even eat their food that I wanted a refund. the manager had to look up the menu to see how much my food even cost with the receipt sitting in front of her face she couldn't figure out how to do a refund on the cash register so she just took out a $10 bill and handed it to me. I had checked the reviews on this before I went there I should've stuck with it and never even wasted my time. The food that my son got, the chicken was dry they offered no dressing to put on the salad and the plantains were mush do not waste your time even going into this location. Too bad I can not give a no star review because that's what they deserve. read more

I usually love Chicken Kitchen, however, this was the worst experience I have ever had. I will never return to this location again. They had no beans for the Mexican Chop Chop. I ordered my daughter a quesadilla, they used a teaspoon of cheddar cheese and then the manager filled the rest with grated Parmesan cheese. She served something that I would not feed my dog. I simple "sorry, we are out of cheese" would have don't the job. The plantains were dry and hard. The salsa had a brown tint to it. I hope the owners monitor these comments. read more

I bought 2 Mexican chop chop 1 large and 1 small. Small one had 2 long hairs in it . I called the store manager doesn't speak English so I spoke with this young man. He related my complaint and they offer me another male. Well I'm disgusted now so I said no. The kid hangs up on me. I called back asked his name. With attitude tells me it's the same person you spoke with a minute ago. I asked the managers name he tell her in Spanish and she said don't give her my name make one up. I understand Spanish perfectly well. I ask for corporate number they say they don't know and hung up on me again. Went into chicken kitchen and ordered our regular order with the chicken chopped small and was told they can't do that because of serving size, you get the same amount either way. We always get it that way. Also asked for fresh rice and was told they didn't have any, ok, and I just fell off the turnip truck. This is my 3 problem there and will never go back again read more

DON'T GO HERE IF YOU WANT COOKED CHICKEN! I came here for the first time, normally go to another location, and I am 8 1/2 months preganant and you can tell. Well I should have known something was up when the lady looked twice at the chicken she was grabbing off the grill. I figured she was double checking it was cooked. Much to my surprise after my second bite, after I get home, THE CHICKEN WAS PINK AND RUBBERY! I made the effort to call to inform the manager that they need to be more careful. Well the person who answered the phone tells me can you call back we are busy.... REALLY? You just gave a pregnant women undercooked chicken and your tell her to call later? I've gone here 4 times and this place always has bugs flying around the sauces and the employees are rude. I ask for one small original chop chop and one large cuban chop chop and it was too difficult for the employee to understand let alone she can barely speak english, which isn't too big of a deal if she didn't have such a crappy attitude. So when i say my order slower and louder so she can hear me she gives a dirty look and starts talking crap under her breath in spanish.( I don't speak spanish fluently but i understand it) I enjoy chicken kitchen but this specific location is mediocre with employees that match it. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The employees are rude and slow. If you are looking for a fast service dont't go here. I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff when I ordered in English. If you do don't speak Spanish good luck ordering. By far the most rude and worst customer service chicken kitchen I've ever been to. I ate here yesterday and ordered my food and while I was sitting down eating, the older lady that works there with the reddish brown hair opens the double doors and noticed that someone had spilled a small cup of the garlic sauce by the trash can near the soda fountain.(it wasn't me) She immediately turned to me and said "what happened here?" "Was this you?!" I was very shocked that she would firstly say that to a customer simply enjoying their food, and secondly actually blame me for it! The 2 other customers sitting near me saw and overheard everything and were completely chocked too. One of the customers looked at me and said "oh my God I can't believe she said that." It took every ounce of restraint not to go completely insane on this lady; but I just said "don't blame that on me." I finished my food and left. I will never go there again. I bought a meal with yellow rice 10 cubes of chicken and light green lettuce on flamingo road and paid $7.82 and the rmployee was rude.

Although I do enjoy their pita pockets (the only reason I was nice enough to give 2 stars), I have to agree with some of the other comments regarding service. While chopping the chicken for my meal, the guy accidentally dropped the knife on the floor. He promptly picked it up, placed it in the corner of the counter and replaced it with another one (which happened to be sitting in the same location he picked up the new one from). My first thought was "Why wouldn't he have put it in the sink", but I let it go assuming he would do it later. As the line began to grow a lady came from the back to help with making orders. I was appalled to see her pick up the knife that had just left the floor and start chopping chicken for the customer next to me. What bothered me even more is that the man preparing my food didn't stop her! Of course, me being me, I kindly reminded the man preparing my meal that the knife his coworker was using was just on the floor and made sure the customer heard me as well. They started speaking Spanish among each other which really pissed me off as I always find this to be rude. You both were speaking perfect English with your customers before. Why the sudden change??? At this point there had to be at least 5 other customers in line and instead of going to wash the knife, she waits for the man preparing my food to be done and takes his! The joke is, both knives were probably dirty being they take no initiative to promptly clean their cutlery. I'm sure after I left, they went back to using the same knife without ever washing it as it was still sitting on the counter when I walked out. I had the most humiliating and HORRIBLE experience EVER!!!... at the Chicken Kitchen located at 2014 N. Flamingo Road. I place my order and requested that extra sauce be put directly on my chop chop. Teresa Martinez, the lady that took my order in a derogatory and loud manner said that that amount of sauce was extra money. I told her that the day before the manager whom took my order had no problem (and actually the manager from the day before was the one who said " tell me when to stop" when told her how much I love the curry-mustard sauce) in putting the extra sauce directly on the chop chop. I told Ms. Martinez I would pay more if that was the case. Ms. Martinez went on to say that with the excess of sauce that she put on my chop chop she could pay her rent. (" ????" I don't understand what she meant by that but I felt humiliated) I immediately complained to the manager on shift. As I was talking to the manager Ms. Martinez had the nerve to walk over and interrupt my conversation with the manager trying to defend her actions. I went to this chicken joint along with a coupon I received in the mail. Everything seemed ok until I brought the food home. The salad I ordered with chopped chicken on top smelled horrendous. I was ready to return and demand my money back and showed them and smell for themselves the chicken. Needless to say, I threw it out. My hubby had the yellow rice with beans and the chicken seemed ok. I made it a point to go back to speak to the manager (if there's one). But since it was raining and it was a few distance from me I did not go. I called instead and the woman reassure me there was nothing wrong with the chicken and I insisted that it smells rotten. In other words, after all the back and forth it went to deaf ears. However, I will make it a point to go there a give them a piece of my mind, they have no customer service skills whatsoever. For now, I stay away from it and who ever orders meat particularly chicken smell it first, and if there's a problem address the issue right then and there. read more

Don't go to this place! I love Chicken Kitchen but this one is aweful! I went there and ordered a Mexican without rice I was instantly informed that I would only get the small portion of lettuce unless I pay extra because they don't substitute the rice, so they are ripping me off then I asked for sauce for each meal and was informed again that it was $1. a sauce, the service was horrible, unfriendly and down right mean. They are so ready to nickel and dime you and measure the chicken to a tee, but then they don't even give you the ingredients that are on the meal, they never gave me the guacamole.
