I was passing through the areas and this location was pretty close to the freeway on/off exit. Decided to pop in and pick lunch for takeout. Ordered Chicken kabob with two sides and another chicken only. A bit overpriced for the amount of food in my opinion. But, Chicken was tasty and sides were good. First time at this location. I order spicy humas as a side, when I got home no humas, but a salad which was not bad but I would have preferred the spicy humas. Someone was unconscious. But the food was good. I never had to check the bag before at other locations but maybe a good idea at this store. read more

I highly recommend getting their chicken, because come on now, it's their main star with the title name and everything! ;) 1) Garlic fries: Get the small portion because it's more than enough for 2 people! Great strong flavor of garlic with the fries! (5/5) 2) 1/4 Chicken: Your order comes with pita bread, garlic sauce and 2 sides. I opted for the hummus and salad. The hummus is really yummy. What can I say about the chicken? It's delicious, moist, and flavorful. I'm a huge fan of the garlic sauce as well. (5/5) 3) Steak and Veggie Kabob: The steak is really yummy. Comes with pita bread, garlic sauce and 2 sides. The bf opted for rice and slaw salad. The slaw has a strong vinaigrette taste to it, so if you're a fan of that you would enjoy it. OMG... My husband and I have been fans of different Chicken Maison locations over time. Today we were so excited to get ourselves to Chicken Maison to get some of our favorite menu items. Mine happens to be Chinese Chicken Salad. So my husband and I ordered our stuff. They gave us our order # and we sat at the table. We waited... and waited... and waited...over 30 minutes. Messages on MS Teams started blowing up and I really needed to get back to work. Hubs went to check on our order. And it turned out... They never made our food. Umm... k... and obviously they haven't bothered to check on us for the last 30 minutes what we are waiting for sitting in their dining hall. Hubs asked them to quickly turn our order to a To-Go order. They popped in a Brownie in our bag... well we never asked for it but whatever. Look, my bad service tolerance is pretty high. It is one of those one off cases and I am usually pretty understanding. Even up to this point, I would not have decided to write this review but... When I opened my order at home, it was not what I ordered. It was a Chicken Caesar salad that I did not want and never asked for. It was awful all around - did not like the dressing and the meat was sooooooo dry and rock hard. The only reason why I ate it is because I had no time to go back and I was just too hungry. Torrance Food Crawl #239 This was my first visit to this branch of Chicken Maisón even though I've been to the Manhattan Beach Blvd location several times and I think very highly of the food there. Despite the 'chicken' in the name of the restaurants there are other meats available such as steak, lamb, and salmon in some of the items, as well vegetarian options too. I went with a Gyro Sandwich which came with a side of fries. The fries, ended up covering half of the plate, but I probably would have enjoyed the Greek coleslaw, spicy hummus, or grape leaves just as much - with the gyro sandwich you can have a side of fries or a different side. The lamb, while perhaps not as fresh as that found in some of the gyros I've had in the Chicago area, was very good. There was a nice crunchiness to the vegetables, which were a little more plentiful than many gyros. The tzatziki sauce was good and there was a little container of extra sauce provided which was much appreciated. The french fries were numerous in number and nicely fried. There's ketchup at the side of the restaurant, next to the soda machine, though the little paper cups are not proportionally sized to the amount of fries provided. There also were a couple of warm pita bread slices provided as a side. They were fine but probably would have been appreciated more on some dish that didn't already contain pita bread. Ordering is initiated from the menu above the cashier and the order is delivered to the table. Everything went smoothly. I've driven by here many times and usually there is no problem with parking in the adjacent lot. read more

Very average food, specially for the high price. So many people, in the area even, do a much better job with Mediterranean food. If you want to know if a Mediterranean restaurant is good, try their hummus. This place has bad hummus, dressing-less tabouli. Soggy Fries. The Chicken which was supposedly their best seller was meh. This review is specifically about my delivery order today 12/23/21. I noticed the impressive increase in pricing online and was hoping that would reflect higher quality food. Unfortunately the sanitation at this location is lacking; I found a dead flies in my side salad. Tossed it all out right away. I've always loved chicken maison but with these increased menu prices, I expected an increase in quality as well. Another note is that I noticed the side salad was made with romaine lettuce that already went bad and was all the least desirable yellow parts of the romaine. So sad :( see pics read more

Wifey and I always seem to end up here. Their food and chicken skewers in particular are consistently delicious and flavorful. Great staff, too. I like it that they don't hustle you for a tip, so be sure to bring a few bucks to throw into the tip jar. read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this place. First off, I called in ahead of time to place my order, and was put on hold, I drove all the way there from two cities over to their location, and was still on hold, walked in to the establishment, and still on hold, and I was amazed to see that the place was practically empty, meaning it wasn't a lot of business, and there were staff members standing around talking amongst each other, as I walk up to the counter, I showed my phone to the staff member, showing her that I was still on hold, and she looked at her phone which was right there on the counter and confirmed that I was indeed on hold, and she said that someone put me on hold and never came back, the funny thing is that the person that I was talking to sound exactly like the person that put me on hold. So I'm frustrated at this point, but placed an order anyway, and ended up waiting close to a half an hour for the food that I expected to just walk in and pick up,. And the order was not well done as requested, and the girl that bags the food had the nerve to give me the food with a nasty snarky attitude. Which I found to be laughable. This was very disappointing, as I have been a patron of this location for several years, I actually know the male manager there, who happened to not be there on this day, when he is there, everything is always on point. Over all terrible experience from beginning to end, needless to say I will not be returning, and I will be removing them from my company catering list. Ive gone 3 times in the past week. I seriously have a problem. Everything is so good and well seasoned. Best hummus ive ever had. Service is fast and friendly. And the restaurant itself is very clean. I spend a pretty good amount between $15-20 or more each time but its worth it. They are very consistent. And literally all restaurants are high so its worth it. I used to get my Mediterranean fix from green olive. Now chicken maison is the spot. Hands down. read more

The best Mediterranean place ever in the South Bay area and always had great experience here with no issues on my order. Please come to Long Beach! I like to call in my order for take-out and pick up my order while passing by the area. I order: -rotisserie chicken combo- Half or whole spicy garlic chicken. (Comes with sides of garlic dipping sauces, pita beads& 2 sides. Sides of spicy hummus and brown rice. I add baked potato as an extra side but can also choose other selections available for sides that come with it.) -Chinese Chicken salad: request it with dressing on the side. I also like to order extra dressing on the side since it may not be enough for whole salad. They are always very generous on the portions and especially with the hummus and pita breads I can eat it for days.. Indoor seating also available. Until again will be back soon! read more

This restaurant has really gone downhill since they expanded their location on Manhattan Beach Blvd. and Inglewood Ave. I used to come to Chicken Maison once a week since 2014, because the ingredients were always fresh, the customer service was above average, and the prices were reasonable. Ever since they expanded this location, I noticed a slow decline in all of these aspects of the business. The prices on most dishes have gone up by ~30-35%, which somewhat makes sense since the price of minimum wage has gone up recently, but it hasn't gone up by 30% in the last couple years. It doesn't really add up, unless they're pushing the cost of restaurant-expansion onto the customer, which, as a small business owner myself, is typically a bad business practice. The reason I am giving this review 1 star is because of the excuse Vanessa, the assistant manager at the time, gave us when I presented my "Dial-a-Ride" booklet that is supposed to give disabled people and seniors a 10% discount on one's entire purchase until Jan 31st, 2020. Vanessa said, "We no longer accept discounts on orders" without being the least bit apologetic. She continues by saying, "we only give police officers discounts now" and I asked her how much that discount was, and she told me either 50 or 15%, it was hard to hear her. After I started writing this review in the restaurant and Vanessa walked by, she must have seen that I was reviewing the restaurant, so she offered me (not my brother with special needs) one complimentary cup of soda for the inconvenience. I declined the free beverage, since neither of us drink soda. I provided photos to show you guys that this restaurant is backing out of their 10% discount. read more

Lots of tables, good for 1-6ish as you can put tables together as it's first come first served. 4. Easy menu, simple, order pay get a number and get a table. Food came within 5mins 5. Healthy options! Chicken kabob is white meat Breast served thin and charbroiled on a skewer and two sides of your choice. If you get the white rice it has raisins in it and flavor yummy. Lots of broccoli and a few carrots if you get steamed veggies as a side. Cooked perfectly. You also get a skewer of grilled veggies mushroom green and red pepper tomatoes and onions. 6. Good prices, was around $15 and could be 2-3 light meals. 7. To top it all off, a waitress comes to check on you and get you anything you need even after your food is delivered. 8. Great service, good talent they've hired, clearly good training. 9. Note to the three managers/"execs" sitting next to me, be more courteous to your team. Pause. Be aware of simple things like giving them compliments, asking how their day is going. You guys were on a call, you were short with staff, unemotional or not empathetic, you showed no concern for the people that slaved over your food, served you and support your business?! Really guys cmon. And to top it off you left a mess on the table for these nice people to clean up behind you! Get some home training and leadership training for yourself ASAP! Smh I feel like somebody's mom over hear, protective and annoyed that three grown men acted like this. Check yourselves. Welp, went in for fettuccine chicken Alfredo and I learned today not all are the same. This place had terrible chicken in the pasta. I'm used to it being tender white meat but this location gave my small dried out with lots of fat and joint ends. May have been thigh meat although a bit confusing since it was dried out. I have been coming to this place for 10 years. It's down the street from my mom's house. I moved to San Diego two years ago, and I like to have the chicken every time I visit. The chicken combo is a tasty and affordable option. I personally love their traditional chicken. My favorite sides are the hummus, bake potatoes, brown rice, Cesar salad. Don't let appearances fool you--the area around Chicken Maison may be located in a hectic area with lots of traffic and congestion, but the food is fantastic. This place is just off the 405 freeway and is perfect for a South Bay quick dinner. I picked my Son up from LAX and he wanted Mediterranean food and this place was easily accessible. As we entered the restaurant, we were Impressed, it was clean and very modern. The staff was very friendly. While in line, they were quick to jump on a spill of a patron who knocked over a bottle olive oil that fell onto the floor. What I liked about it was that they had 3 HD TVs displaying the food. My son saw the half Chicken with Garlic and Lemon, and was instantly drawn to it. As a vegan, I opted for the Falafel plate with salad and hummus. The food came out within 5 minutes and was hot! The portions were very generous. My son liked that they gave him 2 large half pitas, tahini sauce and lots of rice. I received a plate with 7 falafels and could honestly only eat 5 of them. My son said this place is a gem, and would give it 5 stars. The chicken is high quality. We live in south OC and they just opened a place in Santa Ana near South Coast Plaza. I had many great experiences with Chicken Maison at other locations, their chicken was tender, juicy, and tasty. First time I ate here was also great, but on one occasion, the chicken was very over cooked, dry like wood chips, veggie was burned. They had to replace the order after I sent it back. The Replacment plate was as good as usual. I'd recommend Chicken Maison but watch out for mishaps. read more
