Did not eat but played pickleball and enjoyed it. Lots of things to do here. I know a lot of money is being invested in pickleball. It attracts all ages and all demographics. Second time here and really disappointed, met some friends here and showed up 20 minutes after they did, we got our food before they did but the corn and Mac and cheese were cold. When they finally did get their food it was also cold. After another 10 minutes they had a manager come over and give out new warm food. It takes 3 people to get to turn a heater on also. Over all it's good just don't sent super high expectations For the outside courts. Definitely recommend a net being put up to stop the ball from flying into the parking lot read more

Only complaint is we asked 2 different servers and one bartender for items and they said "yes sure and never came back" the bartender I asked if they could make the margarita on the rocks and the servers I asked for ranch. This is a great place to go with friends or family. You do have to book far in advance, about 2 weeks. They have games upstairs, on the main level and outdoors games that's great for family and friends. They also have a wide selection for food and drinks. I only have it 4 stars because of how hard it is too book a court. But if you're able to get a court it's fun, you're also able to bring your own paddles, which can also save you some money. read more

I've been here about three times already, on a Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The customer service at the check in has always been great, they are so kind and ask if you've played before, tell you the rules. In regard to ordering food and drinks, it takes a while. The first time we went was a Wednesday, we played indoors and it took longer than usual to get refills but they were quick to fix their mistakes. The second time we went was a Tuesday and we played outdoors. We were next to a big party of maybe 20+ people and didn't get greeted for half an hour. I went up to check in desk and they said they'd get a server for us promptly. It was only three of us, we got two cokes, a drink and an appetizer to start off with. When the server came back 10 minutes later she brought the check and was trying to get rid of us when I wanted to order more food and drinks. She didn't show up afterwards, I had to look for her after another half an hour mind you she's still looking after the party next to us. When she entered the door and saw me she rolled her eyes and gave me the receipt and didn't even say thank you. As someone who has worked in the service industry, if you can't handle your section ask for help and if you forget about your other tables just apologize, theres no need to act like we're the hassle. I would go just for the pickleball and activities themselves but it's way too hard to order food and drinks. read more

Sadly disappointed in this place. Main problem, poor management. The food is okay, not terrible, not great. I ordered a salad and they left off the chicken. I went to the counter to tell them about it approximately 5 minutes later because none of the servers ever came to our table. The chef says oh, I have your chicken right here, do you still want it? The first question that came to mind is, why didn't someone bring that out if they knew it wasn't delivered properly with the salad? The hostess said there are servers outside taking drink orders, but that didn't happen until we had been there for over two hours. We went to the bar inside to get our own drinks while we observed 4 servers outside put down their trays so they could talk and restack the jenga blocks. I asked the bartender that was busting his butt to serve everyone if they share tips and he said yes! I said well that's evident considering the servers that are more concerned with jenga blocks than customers. I guess the corporate parties are more important than regular customers as I saw managers checking on them, but never the other customers. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon. read more

So I been here once. Pretty sure it was like the opening week. I loved it the wings, the vibes, the staff! I make the mistake by returning expecting the same ambiance lol. The food is garbage, i ordered the wings and they were "tossed" in the shittiest taste of buffalo sauce ever. Not even that the wings were more then fried couldn't even taste anything bc the cooks burnt the chicken off the bone, the wings we're amazing last time but they mustve fooled us for opening week and are slacking now. Usually a pickle came w the wings and that didn't happen. Lame. The deviled eggs taste like air. disappointed how do u fuck that up. The fried pickles were all bread crumbs. We were quite disappointed in the food. Our chicken on our salads was not cooked thoroughly, so we couldn't eat the chicken ON a chicken salad. The kids' fries were cold. My son-in-law's chicken and waffles were cold. The sharable guacamole was definitely NOT sharable. Their entrees are VERY small as well. If you are paying 12 bucks for a salad, at least have it be an entrée size salad, not a side salad size. Also, the server who took our drink order closed my tab 'accidentally' when putting in our drink order. Now that hold has been pending for days. It won't drop off, although the actual charges have cleared. It's like I double paid for crap food. Just FYI, they are cashless. And they don't take Apple Pay, so you have to give them your card when you order food. Which is fine, IF the server doesn't prematurely close your tab (apparently you will pay double). Makes no sense in the least. We've also been to the Grand Prairie location and I prefer that one as far as the food. One plus is that they have a playground for the kids at the Grapevine location. This is our second visit to Chicken N Pickle. The food is fresh and served quickly. We sit at the bar because the service is typically quick. However, that's NOT the case here. The bar staff barely makes eye contact, and you have to get their attention to get beverages. They have multiple bars, and they were not busy. This was our second time visiting. We played pickleball and ate both times. Great facility for the pickleball. I wish I could say more on the service. We ate at the bar both times and gave this feedback - there was no one scanning the bar to take our order for the first 10 minutes both times. One of our food dishes was dropped on the floor our second go-around. I do not fault any of the servers and I like a place that gives entry-level staff a chance. It feels more like a corporate training problem based on our experience. My chicken tinga bowl met expectations for a sports bar - yum! Also macro friendly for folks interested in that. Attended a company party at this location. Large space with a brightly lit Christmas tree. We found our group and received a yellow wrist band, which didn't matter. No one was checking. We headed to the buffet, which is not in your designated area - anyone could access, but didn't matter! Out of food! Our group is so nice that no one was saying anything, but I did. About 10 minutes later an employee came out to check, but she seemed genuinely puzzled that a group of 100 had already depleted everything. Another 10 minutes later, the dishes were refilled. Rubbery chicken, peppery beef, tasteless rice, beautiful but tasteless street corn, decent black beans, and greasy chips. Waiters take drink orders. They were all nice but overworked, so finding someone from whom to order drinks was a bit of a challenge. Our group had paid for time on the pickleball court, but a prior group of large, muscled guys who had been drinking played through our time. No one enforces the pickleball court rotation, and our easy going group decided to leave well enough alone. The shuffleboard court was a loss because the family next to us took all the shuffleboard sticks, and when that happens, there are no more sticks. Period. They need more sticks so that families of 4 can play together. It had rained earlier that day, and the seats were still wet. A few tables have napkins dispensers, so we reached over the shoulders and plates of co workers to get napkins to dry seats. The music choice, given the evening, had us laughing. Despite it being Christmas, they were playing Hotel California when we walked in. Seemed appropriate. The bright spot? The BATHROOMS! Clean! Lovely! Christmas music playing, not blaring! Our group laughed that we should have moved the party to the Loo. My opinion? I'd choose Chuck E Cheese over this. They at least keep their salad bar stocked. read more

Went for lunch today and the food was not very good. The chicken salad was way over dressed , and the chicken was soggy like it had been made in advance. The chicken wings were ok, but asked for blue cheese dressing and got pickle juice dressing, asked again and got the same. I could see the activities not being as enjoyable if it was a busy day and you had to wait for a while for things to be available, but overall it was a really fun evening as a family.
