Only bad experiences was when the potatoes, which are delicious, were sour and clearly spoiled. Very Poor Service The service was extremely disappointing. The cashier OLGA, made us wait for an unnecessarily long time, even though she was in the kitchen talking and apparently not attending to any other customers. We had to wait for something that could have been handled very quickly. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but seeing an employee chatting while customers are waiting is not a good look. On top of that, Olga's attitude was terrible, rude, and very condescending. She showed no professionalism or willingness to provide good customer service. Today I went for my favorite meal they offer - The two taco combo! You might not see it on their main menu, but they do offer it. It's comes with two chicken tacos, salsa, one side and a drink for $9.99! A meal near me under $10 that includes a drink? You can't go wrong! Try the rice or potato salad for the sides or they offer salad. Their mild salsa has a great taste and unique add-ins that you don't find at other JP's. But the real star at this place is the rotisserie chicken. So savory and delicious! You can order for Dine in, take to-go, or get your catering done here! I won't return to this store! 1st, the food was good. I had a terrible visit 9-19-25. I used Doordash to order/pay for my meal. I drove to pick-up my meal. I stood on the left side/counter where the delivery drivers stand to pick up prepaid meals. I noticed the 30ish 5' tall Hispanic female seemed to ignore me. She helped 2 customers who'd arrived after me. Finally she said can I help you. "Yes, I ordered online a 1/2 chicken meal" I had the completed "ready for pickup" text on my phone. I tried to show her,she refused to look at my phone, rather, she told me whats your confirmation number. I could not find it on the app. I told her the order is under my wife's name or mine, I was not sure. She vehemently stated unless I locate the confirmation number she could not help. Two guys heard the exchange & saw me on the app and the 3 of us could not find the confirmation number. Then 1 guy said, I know why she is refusing to give you your order. I said why? The 2nd guy said its because your wearing a Trump/MAGA hat. I was so pissed. She finally handed me my order after I'd been there 10 minutes. I was treated so poorly. But it made perfect sense. This is probably my new favorite place to get clean, fresh, delicious food. Juan Pollo never disappoints! The chicken is always so flavorful and not overly greasy. The sides are my FAVORITE. The potato salad is probably the best I've had, the rice is delicious, and the beans and salsa are perfection as well! My mom and I were so impressed by the service at this location. Marlen who was the cashier that day was so kind and allowed us to make a substitution for 2 legs instead of a leg and a thigh and she made sure the portion was huge so that we wouldn't be missing out even though we ordered just legs. The staff in the back was also very friendly and kind. They really made our day especially after having a stressful week of having to deal with multiple fast food joints since our family member is in the hospital and we haven't had time to cook. I understand Easter or any major holiday is a very busy time for food chains. But false advertisement is ridiculous. We placed and order for 30 ppl on Thursday for Sunday pick up at 2:30pm paid for it and they said to call 30 min before pick up to confirm. Now Sunday we had been calling since 11am phones off, we get to the establishment and there is a line of people. No orders were ready on time. People had been waiting for more than an hour. I asked for my order and they still were going to take another hour. At this point it's almost 3:30pm and now had to wait till 4:30pm, I asked for a refund. They already cut everything so you don't need to worry about divvying it up yourself. My favorite part is the thigh. It comes with tortillas so you could wrap the chicken in it, but personally I want to just taste the chicken so I do without it. There is a hot and mild salsa - the hot one is actually spicy and has a habanero taste. The service is really nice, as the workers are helpful and friendly. They do accept credit cards.
