When we opened the bag, we found we were short the two $6.00 Strawberry French Toast add ons. So, I called the restaurant back. Talked to same person and explained my new problem. She cut me off and told me to call the delivery service. I told her I ordered through CB app. She placed me on hold and told she needed to talk to her manager. Okay, no problem. A few minutes later a manager came on the line and apologized, said she would talk to the delivery person and issue me a refund. She said she would do it now before she forgot. Well I guess she forgot or just blew me off because no refund was issued to my card. Today, I tried to lodge an issue report on the app, but it's a AI Assistant which is simply another way to not interact with a customer. It did offer to connect me with a live agent. Why do I want a live agent? They didn't do anything for me yesterday. I like CB food, but the customer service issues at this restaurant are chronic and persistent over several visits and over several months. I am not likely to return. 4/17/2026 Update: Yesterday, a refund for a portion of my order posted to my card. So, CB did follow through with refunding a portion of my order. Thank you CB.
