Yesterday (4/14/2026) I placed an order for home delivery in the app. Estimated delivery was 5:15 pm. At 5:45 pm we hadn't received it, I called to check on my order. The person who answered told me it had left the store and implied it had been delivered. While I was on the phone with this individual at 5:49 it was delivered. This was 1 hour and 9 minutes after the pick up time of 4:40 pm recorded on the receipt. So, the food was stone cold. When we opened the bag, we found we were short the two $6.00 Strawberry French Toast add ons. So, I called the restaurant back. Talked to same person and explained my new problem. She cut me off and told me to call the delivery service. I told her I ordered through CB app. She placed me on hold and told she needed to talk to her manager. Okay, no problem. A few minutes later a manager came on the line and apologized, said she would talk to the delivery person and issue me a refund. She said she would do it now before she forgot. Well I guess she forgot or just blew me off because no refund was issued to my card. Today, I tried to lodge an issue report on the app, but it's a AI Assistant which is simply another way to not interact with a customer. It did offer to connect me with a live agent. Why do I want a live agent? They didn't do anything for me yesterday. I like CB food, but the customer service issues at this restaurant are chronic and persistent over several visits and over several months. I am not likely to return. 4/17/2026 Update: Yesterday, a refund for a portion of my order posted to my card. So, CB did follow through with refunding a portion of my order. Thank you CB. First impressions what a dump ! When we was taken to a very crowded dining room, while other rooms were being used, when we was shown our table, my wife's chair was covered with food. When asked if they could clean, the guy whipped the chair with his hand. Again had to ask that they use a towel. Finally settled and we was sticking to the chairs, sticky. The floor was quite nasty. Terrible microwave food. I thought they trying to make a comeback. Tiny portions and the catfish was pathetically small mostly corn meal. It was takeout. The fried okra is a in a container with no holes for circulation. You don't put fried food in a container without holes. Fried chicken restaurants have known this for a century. read more

Our server was wonderful - Nichole. My wife and and shared a meal that had meatloaf, fried chicken and chicken and dumplings. The sides were hashbrown casserole and okra. The two issues were the meat loaf and hashbrown casserole. They were both lukewarm. The other items were delicious and hot. Haven't been in awhile. Had dinner last night and I was happy to see the steak and eggs were back on the menu. They had taken it off and only offered tips at one time. My meal was delicious. My experience was pleasantly surprised due to our waitress named Luxus. They are usually always pleasant but tonight Luxus was just to kind and happy with all our requests. I've panned Cracker Barrel several times so let me give them a KUDO. Went there on a Saturday for lunch and their Southern Fried Chicken. Food came out fast, fresh, and hot and it was very good. Service was excellent and our server, Ethan, was very attentive. Ambiance...well we like the old Cracker Barrel decor, glad they did not ruin this location with the new, now defunct, interior design. The food was terrible. Service and ambiance were good. Had the chicken fried chicken with the Hashbrown casserole the CB is renowned for. I've made the copycat version of the hashbrown casserole. I received today's offering as a stacked hashbrown with no seasoning, cheese, can of cream of chicken pr anything else. The chicken was so tough I needed a steak knife to get through it. I checked to see if it was done a couple of times. My daughter had two eggs with sausage and biscuits. The biscuits and gravy were fine, but the sausage was flavorless and dry. Definitely not going back. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was a strange experience. For one the waitress told us that we couldn't substitute anything on the menu for another things on the menu. So if it comes with mashed potatoes and you want green beans that's a no go. Second almost everything we ordered was not warm. The best thing was how fast the food came out which makes sense as everything including the steak seemed microwaved. Unfortunate cause I used to like this place but my guess is they will be closing the doors soon. read more

Took at least 20 minutes to place an order, another20 to wait for drinks, another 30 for food to be served which was lukewarm. Ordered the chicken fried steak with sides. HORRIBLE gravy. Was so runny it looked like white colored water. Our server, Siera, took so long for everything and offered ZERO extra service. Had to ask for everything. We noticed her poor performance was recognized at the table next to us as they left a $1 tip. Come on, Cracker Barrel. Do better. read more

Stood by the check in stand for 10 minutes at 4pm on Friday before we were acknowledged and seated. Pretty empty. Waitress seemed inconvienenced. Ordered early dinner meat loaf and fried chicken entrees with fried apples and a salad as sides. Had to send back the meatloaf since it was very undercooked. Basically it was taken away, nuked and returned with grease running all over the plate. 2 bites and done. No wonder she brought kerchup. Chicken was gross too. Mostly very greasy breading and obvious it was fried earlier and refried again before serving - old stale oil taste. Pulling off the burnt breading and finding mostly bones made it inedible. The high point was the salad which was an upcharge of $2.79. Went to check out and nobody in sight. Ended up asking out loud if anyone was there. She suggested some Hershey candy bars next to the register which were the second highlight of the dinner. Thankfully we had the gift cards which are now used and never have to go again. Mossa was our server, for one she didn't get to our table for 15 minutes after being seated. When it was time to order food I had asked if I could either swap biscuits and gravy or something else or get rid of it, her only answer was "no we're not doing that at all we're busy and our cooks cant be looking at one order to change" nothing else no explanation or im sorry at all. Service was bad. We Sat for 55mins without any food. No knives were included in the silverware. They said, "We have a knife thief and all out of knives." (The manager kept walking from one end of the restaurant to the other, not managing, just laughing with another employee following him around the entire time.) There was also no wait to be sat, and very little customers in the restaurant, so it is very confusing as to why I waited 30 minutes to receive my scheduled order of 2 pancakes. I was excited to see what all the hype was about this place , great store front ect . But not the food ! We came here for breakfast and ate severely disappointed. My husband ordered the grandmas breakfast which comes with French toast . It looked good until he flipped it to add butter and it was black, the cook tried to hide it ... Severely burnt . The server took forever to check onus so my husband had to walk to the kitchen. About ten minutes later they brought it back almost raw with fingerprints on it . I ordered peach pancakes with fried chicken , when the order comes out I notice there's no peaches on my pancakes . When the server came to the table I let her know and she says " oh yea, we don't have peaches . " My pancakes were pure dough ! I went to the restroom to find they're out of soap as well. I would come here maybe for dinner but never again for breakfast . $50 for non edible food and a bad experience. read more

My review here is for Methany, the hostess that not only looks like a daily face picker but also has the worst attitude for front of house work. Worst Cracker Barrel ever! From the moment we got there we waited almost over 5 mins for someone to even take our drink orders and it wasn't even packed and we got sat right away which is so strange for a Cracker Barrel on a Sunday evening. Our drinks finally got taken and we placed our orders. I got the home style chicken with a loaded baked potatoe and fried okra. The chicken was lukewarm as well was the fried okra. Like it had been sitting for a while. My husbands okra was the same and he's not normally picky but even this he couldn't eat. My daughter's fried chicken was lukewarm as well as if it had been sitting under a light all day. I sent mine back and a manager never came to try and rectify it when we did ask for one it took him over 5 mins to come out by then we just said we didn't want this and I asked the server to pay for what I did eat and she told us she was sorry and we could just leave. As for the manager he was walking out dusting his face and belly from eating. We will never be back at this place ever again. Well I've been to many Cracker Barrel's. Today's experience was the worst. The bathrooms first off we're disgusting. Once we were seated, we were greeted by Kayleigh M she took our drink order and proceeded to get those and come back. Took our breakfast order which we ordered the biscuit beignets to start. It took 35 minutes for the order to come. The biscuit beignet came out after our breakfast which they did comp which were doughy. We were also missing three items from our breakfast and we had to ask for the items. The food was mediocre and not what I've experienced in the past. Our server never apologized,! never explained why our food took so long. Just an overall bad experience today! read more

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite chain restaurants out there. For dinner, chicken and dumplings is my favorite entree. The hash-brown casserole is an exceptional side dish that I always get for breakfast and dinner. The fried okra is also enjoyable. Breakfast here is also great. The store is also nice to check out. The service and atmosphere is good as always. This is the only Cracker Barrel in northern Colorado. Residents of Larimer and Weld counties should go try this place. read more

Do NOT order take out from Cracker Barrel!! I like there food but I waited over an hour tonight for our dinner and so did the poor Door Dash driver who now lost his wages and time. Cracker Barrel just cancels my order and tells the driver to tell me I need to go "put in a new order" at almost 9pm. So much customer service, totally gone. She informed me the coffee was old before setting the cup on the table. The hashbrown casserole was dried up like crushed croutons. It was burnt and hardened and horrible. The gravy tasted like industrial cleaner with a lingering aftertaste. The biscuits were undercooked and raw in the middle with a weird white color. The bacon was gooey and undercooked. Overall a pathetic meal. 20 Year Customer that will not return. The manager had a testy and confrontational demeanor when I complained about the hashbrown casserole and she told me they were having problems with the recipe and they had served me old casserole that had been sitting out for over 6 hours.
